Yeah, whenever I go up against a campy killer it's every man for himself lol, I get the gens done and gtfo ? everyone has their own way of playing and camping works for some and despite what people say it is a viable strategy... Just takes some of the fun out of it sometimes.

It does kill some of the fun for survivors. I would feel bad but lately all I’m going against is SWF groups who gen rush. I almost always camp a SWF group because I know they will try to save each other and camping usually extends the game for everyone and produces a muddier result than either side ideally wants.

Here's the rundown:

Emblems are numbered 0-4

0- none

1- bronze

2-silver

3- gold

4- iridescent 

SURVIVOR:

Lightbringer: evaluates participation in generator repairs

Unbroken: awarded upon escape, depends on how many times you were downed

Benevolence: injured/hooked you lose points, rescue and heal to earn points. *Self care does not add points to benevolence.

Evader: being stealthy, hiding near the killer and remaining unseen. Avoiding a hit and evading the killer during a Chase gains points, longer chase= more points.

KILLER:

Gatekeeper: each second gains points for generators not repaired, uncompleted generators give bonus points.

Devout: points for sacrifices and moris. 

Malicious: points for injuring, downing and hooking survivors. Points are lost if survivors are healed, points for hooking are never lost.

Chaser: points for chasing and hitting during a Chase. Shorter chase= more points (if Chase is successful)

Not a big fan, the rank resets and the ability to level up harder makes matches frustrating with noob players. I hate having to fix 4 generators by myself because 2 people DCed after being down.

Yea when there's a good challenge for either side, those games are the best! No camping, exploiting, looping etc... Makes for a fun game for sure!

Yea I've come across quite a few SWF groups who become a pain in the ass right off the bat. At that point I have no shame in kicking Back and camping out for a bit lol

This is what happens when you kill all 4 survivors in a SWF group before they can even get a single generator done lol! Each survivor was unhooked twice... So I'm an obvious face camper lmao. When you get messages like this and you play the game as it's meant to bee played, you know you've found something you're good at ?

I camped the hooks when I first started playing. Got robbed as Nurse when I grabbed my second downed person, after assuming I could down all four before anyone could unhook the person I hooked. Nope. I failed miserably, and got shit mail for it. Of course, they act all high and mighty in a 4v1 game. I learned that hooking and leaving is better than hook camping because of the 3 strikes system for the hooks.  That, and camping ruins the game for the killer because while you camp, the gens are being fixed.

It's really not bad. They need to make some adjustments to the Evader emblem to account for time spent in a chase. Other than that I'd say it's pretty good.

I have recently learned that you can get a rating above "Entity Displeased" without sacrificing anyone. Just injure a lot of people, hook them a few times, break a few gens, chase a little bit. This right here goes to show that the game doesn't care about the killing and surviving. It only wants people to focus on racking up as much BP as possible. However, the bulk of the community doesn't care about Survivor/Killer rank, and only cares about kills and surviving. I heard that Rank 1 Killers/Survivors lobbies are practically non existent because no one cares about rank, and those who do are left without opposition.

You can also get "Entity Displease" even if you sacrifice more than one person. What the fuck is this game?
