  1. Well the fact that they got rid of kane was a big turn-off, to start out with but the movie studios seem to be horribly disrespectful to the fans of the Friday the 13th franchise' there's absolutely nothing about the character in this movie that make’s me think Jason. They were completely Obsessed with Jason showing some kind of emotion which just goes to show us the director and a movie studio didn't understand a franchise in the first place, and should have never had any kind of control over it. And I hated the design of Jason in fvj that dumb jacket they put on him and now everyone makes Jason with that dumb jacket.. overall' I'll still watch the movie but it's like Batman versus Superman it's not a great movie but it does have Batman and Superman on the screen at the same time.
  2. Super excited for this one, I just Hope they don't make him cgi
  3. This is one of the issues that, I have always had with dbd and also most of the Dlc Horror Icon's are from the remakes.
  4. I love Hellraiser . But over time they have ruined his character.
  5. No thank you because this game has been out for over a year now and it is a glitchy mess I prefer them to get professionals to make a Halloween game..
  6. to me this is what' sit Friday 13 apart from them other games ..for some reason gun media is the only one that thought if I'm playing as the killer I might want to be able to see the Killer I hate playing games in the first person perspective in yet most of the slasher genre outside of Friday the 13th is FPS...
  7. Consoles require certification if Jason X is not working right and they tried to bundle it in with the last update it may not have met the game console requirements... And we wouldn't have any new content.
  8. It was better then Rambo for the PC...but not as good as Scarface for the ps2
  9. I thought this at first but from what I've heard on Twitter earlier today that the Friday the 13th puzzle game was also hit with the same thing..
  10. I'm not asking for any money back I feel like I've got my money's worth out of the game, I'm just saying for people that came into the game late it should be completely possible for them to get their money back if they bought the game on the assumption that that map would be completed... I mean a few months ago if you bought the game you probably thought all there's going to be new game mode coming to it there's going to be a ton of content added to the game that's called false advertising….
  11. Everyone saying that you played so many hours so you got your money worth well let me just say this $40 or even 60 is a hell of a steep price for a game rental when I buy games because I want to be able to play them. I've bought games for $30 back in 2010 that I can still go back and play, right now unfortunately because this game only has one really solid game mode on it which requires online play they should consider giving people their money back that bought the game on the idea that the game was going to be Completed.
  12. One question I would like to ask anyone that works AT Gun media How long did you guys actually known that this would eventually affect the game without telling us.. because it doesn't seem like this was just something that happened overnight..The whole thing does feel kind of shady considering the fact that we had to go to a third party Source just find out what was going on.
  13. Yes if they want to do summer camp I would definitely put some money in on that as long as it's same concept as Friday the 13th game.
  14. Could someone explain to me how emotes and kills are affected by the lawsuit?
  15. I myself hope that they don't quit the Slasher horror genre because for some reason they're the only ones they had the good sense to make a horror game and take it out of the first person view and actually give you real objectives to complete... outside of Resident Evil this is probably my favorite horror game that has ever come out.. I believe they should do like dead by daylight just make the game summer camp as they originally planned and just occasionally get DLC of of the more well-known slashers..
  16. I honestly don't understand how Miller is even got a case here considering you got guys like Stan lee That we know for a fact wrote most of his own character such a Spider-Man and Daredevil and yet he's entitled to 0% of the ownership of them..
  17. This would be okay with most video games but unfortunately this game will forever be incomplete. it really only has one solid game mode to begin with I don't see players hanging around long after the content stops coming in I sure hope I'm wrong..
  18. I don't know what good fixing bugs would do...if no one's playing
  19. ……... I just found this article on bloody-disgusting saying that Friday the 13th game will be getting no more content update which means we will not be getting Jason X and the online community on Steam is basically dead so I guess this means the end of the game Legal Claim Brings an Indefinite End to New ‘Friday the 13th: The Game’ Content by John Squires June 11, 2018 As a film franchise, Friday the 13th is in serious limbo right now, with a pressing legal issue preventing any new films from being made. To make a long story short, Victor Miller, the original film’s scriptwriter, claims he wasn’t employed when he wrote the movie and thus is looking to terminate a grant of rights and reclaim ownership of the property. Essentially, Miller’s lawsuit leaves the future of the franchise hanging in the balance, and whether or not he wins the case will determine what happens with the series. For now, it lies dormant. Sadly, while the legal issues hadn’t been an problem for Friday the 13th: The Game up to this point, that has changed. We’ve just learned that the game’s future is also now uncertain. Here’s the full e-mail from Gun Media today… Friday the 13th: The Game has established a loyal and excited fan base over the last year. As publisher/developer, Gun and Illfonic have made every effort to provide our fans with an authentic and great gaming experience. As many in our community may be aware, a legal claim has been made which could affect all future Friday the 13th intellectual property. Although in the past the game has not been subject to any such claim, new content and material going forward will be affected. An initial decision in this case was expected in October 2017, but no decision has yet been issued. The court review of the legal rights is in process, but final resolution may take some time. Until the claim rights can be dismissed or resolved, no new content can be released. When we originally learned that the game fell within the crosshairs of this legal dispute, we tried to balance the creation of new content requested by our fans against the maintenance and bug fixing that our community expects and deserves. We attempted to do both within the limits of the legal case. We’ve now been forced to accept that the lawsuit makes future content for the game, including alternate play modes, new playable Jasons and Counselors, and new maps, unfeasible now or in the future. Although the listed content types will be affected, we remain committed to launching dedicated servers on our console platforms and providing the continued maintenance and bug fixing important to supporting our fan base. So what does this mean exactly? There will be no additional content added to Friday the 13th: The Game. This includes “Uber Jason”, The Grendel Map, Jason Kill Packs, Clothing, Emotes and new Counselors. It seems that literally all things Friday the 13th are in a holding pattern at this time, which is a major bummer. Whoever wins, it’s us fans who are losing right about now.
