  1. Absolutely not, they are fine as is. Plus, I don't need Jenny's already low speed to be crippled even further.
  2. I was wondering if an epic or legendary Escape Artist would allow Jenny to break free from Jason's grab more often (or just allow her to do so against Jason's with bad grip strength.) Discuss.
  3. There's a difference between a character that has a learning curve versus a character that is bad. Jenny is the former, not the latter.
  4. You're talking out of your ass. If someone is able to use a character well, that means the character isn't bad. To be honest, there are no bad characters, only bad players. Her two best stats are composure and luck, rightfully so. The final girl WOULD have those stats as her highest. She isn't known for her quick speed, or her repair skills, or her strength. The remainder stats are fairly average, which makes sense. Stop making an argument over Jenny's usability when it has already been determined that people can excel with her (including myself.)
  5. I'm sorry you don't know how to properly utilize her. ?‍♂️
  6. I've managed to snag around five or six legendary perks, but I agree with you. It's very tedious. I actually have to mute the television because the sound of rolling a perk gets grating quickly (especially when you're wearing headphones.)
  7. Composure is NOT overrated. In my opinion it is one of the most important stats in the game because it impacts so many mechanics of the game. +Good composure means you won't be detected by Jason's sense earlier than counselors with low composure +You stumbled a lot less (hardly ever, really.) +Your screen doesn't go black when you have high composure (it can, but it takes quite a bit of time for it to happen.) +Stamina regeneration speed is fast with someone like Jenny. +Breaking free from Jason's grab is the easiest with counselors with high composure. It's still nearly impossible to break free, but it is possible with someone like Jenny with a Jason that has low grip strength. Honestly, I don't see how you could even say composure is overrated.
  8. I think people simply don't know how to utilize her properly. Managing her composure and stamina are keys to her success.
  9. I disagree. Composure is the real difference here, and I've noticed that Victoria's screen gets black way too quickly. Her stamina regeneration rate isn't fast due to her low composure, which is why Jenny is overall better (in my opinion.)
  10. I'm in the pool of people who believe this may be the worst patch we've seen so far. It seems untested, rushed, and makes the game very broken at times. The biggest glitch I've seen so far happened last night. I was playing as Victoria, Jason grabbed me, but he wasn't able to kill me so I was able to break free for some reason. As I was running away, I all of a sudden became Tommy. The audio from my game as Victoria was still playing the chase music, but as Tommy the regular audio was playing on top of it. Victoria was still alive but was idle, and my mini-map indicated two player arrows when I found her. Aside from that, I've noticed the audio issues as well, at times I can't swing my weapon as a counselor or pick up any items, and the infamous car rubber banding glitch is still here in full force (shouldn't that have been one of their first priorities?) I've been on the developer's side since the beginning, but at this point I'm beginning to raise an eyebrow at the unprofessionalism in pre-maturely releasing patches. Two words: quality assurance!
  11. I had a lot of issues last night as a counselor with my swing action not working. I could get into combat stance, but I couldn't swing. This happened on more than one occasion, and I recall seeing a lot of items that could not be picked up (baseball bats, first aid, etc.)
  12. I wouldn't even compare her to Chad. They have similar luck, but that's about it.
  13. Different strokes for different folks. Melissa is my fave though. Better death, better actress, and memorable performance.
  14. You also make a very valid point. Jenny is not for beginners and requires a better understanding of the game to excel as her (which is why you either see really good Jenny's or really bad Jenny's.)
  15. I disagree about Melissa not representing the trope accurately. She is generally the most popular mean girl in the franchise (which is evident in her inclusion.) The actress was solid in the role and was in fact, mean to the protagonist. She was definitely better than Tamara from part 8.
  16. I really don't think Jenny needs buffed. She is my main and I don't have any issues with her. I also don't necessarily believe that Vanessa is overpowered. I don't play as her because her composure sucks. Her stealth is low but it's sort of a throwaway stat because it becomes useless partway throughout the match. My point though is I value composure and believe it is one of the most crucial stats. With 10/10, Jenny's stamina pool regenerates quickly (and I pair her with an epic Restful perk, which makes it even faster), coupled with the fact that her high luck generates even more stamina regeneration for successful hits on Jason. I can't stand low composure counselors. Having a black screen and losing your mini-map is no fun (and I don't want to waste a slot with the Preparedness perk.) It is extremely difficult to get a black screen with Jenny. I could go on, but I my argument is pretty clear. I believe both counselors fit a specific playstyle, and I don't believe one needs buffed or one needs nerfed.
  17. While I appreciate the work that was put into this, I don't think it really works for the most part. I like that the game is generally quiet until Jason shows up. This is also why Stalk works so well. I do wish that some of the themes were more akin to the film's version (like 6, 7, and 8.)
  18. I find the spear works better in combat stance. I just hate that it gets stuck on walls too easily when breaking down doors.
  19. I'm not sure why people assume he'll be a playable character. I'm fully expecting him to just be a target in the SP challenges.
  20. This has been on my mind for awhile but have yet to get the consensus out on it. With the new update and new engine, will the console version run as smooth as the PC version? I've been playing on PS4 since it first came out and the frame rate is less than perfect. It's supposed to be 30 fps, but it isn't stable. The PC version is a solid 60 fps and watching videos of it makes me wish I could play the game the way it was intended to be played. The graphics are obviously superior on the PC version, but will the console version get a graphical upgrade with the new engine? And will it run at 60 fps? It would be great if this was answered by someone from Gun or Illfonic. I have a Mac, so I won't be able to experience the PC version. I only hope I can get something as close to the PC version as possible with this new engine.
  21. There is nothing special aesthetically about pre Uber Jason. Uber Jason is ridiculous, yes, but that's the point. The whole movie is absolutely ridiculous.
  22. I want Jenny's hair to match the original model. There's nothing 80's about the in-game model.
