  1. My friend said he thinks Jason is a God on PC VS Console Play. One reason he said is that aiming Shift is Easier with a Keyboard and Mouse. He also said Vanessa being able to move with WASD is just way better for Footsies since Stick has a bigger Delay over 2 Button presses. Throwing Knives are Also way easier to hit he said since the Framerate is higher you don't miss as much and you can get better at aiming. You don't have to rely on alot of Console Techniques Playing as Jason on PC.
  2. Yeah it does. However 20% Swift Attacker is good enough by itself. I'd say its better to stick on a Male Counselor since they have Slower swing animations
  3. Combat Stance Should Work like other games. I.e. You can choose who you are targeting and locked on to. I don't think it matters for Counselors but for Jason Players you can't pick out one person to focus on in groups. My suggestion is that there's a Black Dot or a White Dot on the Counselor you are Targeting and it goes away if you switch Targets or they are in a Hiding Spot. You can detect Counselors under beds with Combat Stance sometimes too. But you can Remove that if you are gonna rework how Hiding Spots work too as Sometimes Counselors become invulnerable while Hiding underbeds or Jason can animation cancel the Check animation.
  4. I like playing Part 4, Part 5, and Part 7 But overall on PS4 Part 3 with the Machete is probs the best overall Jason Weapon Strength is the most important Jason Strength currently as it makes things way easier for Jason fighting counselors with weapons, Pocket Knives, and Spray
  5. Your joycon might be desyncing if you get stopped for no reason. If you sit more closer to the Switch unobstructive it shouldn't desync as much.
  6. Curious if you can play it with a GameCube controller Maybe as a Counselor anyway lol
  7. I watched 2 hours of Gameplay. It has dedicated Servers which is huge probably one of the only switch games with that and in game voice chat. No frame dips at all online it runs very well. I personally would love to try it But another thing is that it lacks Party features. You can join somebody else's game but you can't setup a Party and go into Quickplay. Graphics are pretty good albeit way darker, even darker than before. Or maybe I'm used to 3 points up in the contrast
  8. Switch has DEDICATED Servers now too so that's probably why it was acting funny for a little bit. I was playing on ps4 yesterday night everything was fine. They were preparing for Switch Launch
  9. I saw at this GDC Press Conference the game is designed for 3 Counselors to always have the tools to escape. If 3 Counselors escape thats an even match for Jason. If there are 4 or more counselors that escape counselors outplayed ya, if less than 3 counselors escape Jason outplayed ya.
  10. I don't know about that, I managed to kill 6 Counselors in under 3 minutes on a Small Map as Part 3 this patch. I also managed to Survive the Night vs a Part 5 this patch so yall Jason players wanting the insane shift plus being able to run sound really crazy to me. It kills the fun of the game playing as a Solo Counselor because you can't even begin to attempt objectives without a huge risk of getting tunnelled to death. It also destroys the time balance of the round as Counselors don't have any time to Find Items to defend themselves
  11. If you walk on Trails/Stay indoors I'm pretty sure you generate less noise pings overall than you would if you were walking out in the woods. If you walk in Water like through a River or on the beach you always generate visible noise pings even if you are Tommy or AJ.
  12. Yeah, I was chased by Jason for like 5 minutes thought I got away and hid. Jason came in the back door with Stalk and Jenny screamed from under a bed when he saw him lol. She only has to be stage 3 fear aka arms are up
  13. You can get 3 level ups in a Day if your success rate is high. If you win alot you'll level up faster obviously. Don't worry about levels till later just Focus on Escaping every game for that EXP. If you're lucky you can escape before they Kill Jason then your EXP goes really high. You would get the Escape Bonus and Defeated Jason Bonus.
  14. I'm excited to Try the New Patch once I get off work. Victoria with Pajamas here I come
  15. @Somethin Cool No I meant the endlag animation for the Door destruction. If you don't do the final hit it doesn't generate as much fear. Do the Shears get stuck more than the Axes?
  16. GUYS if you equip Legendary Speed Demon and Legendary Low Profile it increases your Speed even more. I don't know what the Crouching Speed increase would be for Low Profile but it really adds onto it. You might even go faster if you equip Legendary Preparedness.
  17. The counselors wouldn't be Balanced. Tiffany for instance has max stealth and max stamina with decent speed. However when Jason is near she still makes noise pings. AJ doesn't makes noise pings while she has the same stealth because she's slower. If you equip Speed Demon on AJ though I don't think she'll generate noise pings even though her speed got bumped practically up to a 6. There is only a 12% difference between the slowest speed being 3 and 10. 3% adds two whole speed tiers while 15% would make LaChappa significantly faster than Vanessa speed. Oh and if you give Shelly Speed Demon he becomes around as Fast as Chad. I think anyway based on feeling the reason behind that is that there is no male counselor within Speed tiers between 6-7.
  18. I made a video about Jason's weapons trying to find out the secret bonuses some weapons have compared to others. I was trying to figure out what each Weapons had. Pig splitter fastest door destruct Shears fastest hiding spot check Machete fastest light attack And other miscelanous things like can they hit windows? Traps? While trying to figure out what the axes do I figured out you can actually cancel Heavy into Heavy. I never did that before so thats cool makes slashing as good as grabbing.
  19. My Victoria build is Legendary Thickskin, Legendary Speed Demon, Legendary Lightfoot. Lightfoot helps prevent early deaths from visible Morph->Shift. It also boosts stamina in the dark. Speed Demon is for challenging Jason strengths like +Waterspeed or +Shift. Makes you move faster too so it helps vs Running Jasons. Thickskin is for Survivability allowing you to outperform weapon strength Jasons or Take out a Trap and hide more easily. Basically my gameplan is to put Jason players into situations they usually would win but end up surprisingly outperforming them.
  20. I think Shelly is better than Adam on all counts. Shelly plays just like Adam but with LaChappa's stealth. I tried to pickup Adam but Switched to Shelly not very long afterwards. I rather have Fox and Shelly over Adam
  21. 1 Generally focus on getting one car part in at the start of the round before Jason gets there, if I got keys I will camp the car lol 2 The phone house, take out the traps at least or bait Jason back to another objective 3 The boat, you can usually solo repair the boat and escape if he never checks it out and is busy elsewhere 4 Kill Jason, if Tommy is in and he knows what he's doing we can go for the Kill but often I'd rather have at least one objective done before I try that or got my hands on the mask for that extra advantage 5 Survive the night, generally the last resort, I usually hide in big buildings to make it harder and more time consuming for Jason to find me
  22. Ohhh another thing. I got Thickskin and Hypochondriac 18 - Damage And 19% healing no penalty With those two perks I am able to hit two traps heal and take a throwing knive afterwards. Pretty OD it made me actually gasp when it happened for the first time as I got a free escape from Jason. The old Hypochondriac with 20% -1% didn't do that so its pretty sick.
  23. If Savini Jason is chasing you you have to stay as still as possible to recover Stamina and hide behind walls or furniture to make it harder for him to find you with Shift inside a building. Otherwise run him around a table near a window or hide under a bed in a room with alot of beds. Never try to jump out of a window when he shifts at you, depending on if you have a good angle he won't be able to knife you out of Shift so just climb through
  24. They aren't doing Crossplay and you can't carry over stuff from your PS4 or PC file but the Switch version might get Local Play
  25. Layers of Fear 2 released last week so odds are alot of development resources go to that. Heard it got a 9/10 tho
