I second this. I was skeptical at first, but this game is deep and rich.

It was surprisingly easy to jump in to the lore, having never played a witcher game. While it definitely helps to know who the characters are, they walk you through the what you need to know fairly well.

The story is pretty strong, and some choices do kind of matter, even if you don't know it at the time.

I had no idea it was a series of games. Yeah everything i saw about it looked amazing. My wife and I will definitely be going to purchase it when my new job kicks in and I get my first paycheck. Just got done making a move from Ga to Tn so money is tight until then.

But back on topic I do wish for the final chapter map and jason. We shall see...

@TedFRG I part of me is glad we sailed off topic, just to let Gun know how well their blue dot marketing is working. People got bored of it and are moving along.

That being said, yeah, blue dot talk...

So did they let it go stale or what? If it is about the Patch on the 28th, then someone launched a bit too soon. Two weeks is far too long to not update us on the blue dot situation. The burn factor will be high on this kind of teaser marketing.

Oh, and the images are actually just two paintings done by Wes. One is of a cat watching the sunset. The other is the house where he grew up, next to a beached blue whale.

He's not very good at painting.

He uses his mustache instead of brushes.

My guess is that it's either Final Chapter or Jason X. Roy or Pamela wouldn't make sense. They'll probably never do it, but I want to see the Jason from the dream sequence in New Beginning as a playable Jason, or even a Tommy Skin where he has the knife and Roy's mask.

I wouldn't completely discount Pamela Voorhees (light blue sweater). They've surprised me in the past. Whether that be zombie Pamela or living Pamela.

It's probably the least realistic solution to this riddle. But they've stated they want to make it the complete Friday game, have demonstrated they listen to fans (Purple Jason) before, have adjusted budgets to get Tommy Jarvis in the game before etc. To be completely fair to them, from day one, what people have cried/crowed/moaned/begged for the most (I.e single player component) ...they've done their utmost best to deliver - and they've ticked most boxes as far as what people have always been requesting. The game being a financial success also ups the probability somewhat. 

Who knows? Will be interesting to see how the mysterious blue dots pan out ?
