Me and Jason has a wild west shoot out the other day. I was Tommy with my gun, and Jason had his throwing knives. We turned on the Wild West Standoff music and had a duel.  After that I cam across him again and he turned on the Mortal Kombat Theme song and we fought each other. Good times.

Posted from Reddit (minor changes made for accuracy and phrasing).

It was a cool summer night at Crystal Lake. The pale moon beckoned an ominous force to the expansive Crystal Lake Campgrounds. After fleeing from the sight of his friend's death, Chad finds himself at Camp Hillbrook with nothing more than his stylish dress whites, accented by a green sweater around his neck.

The yellow car spawns nearby, while the blue car resides at Birch Ridge. I waltz on over to the kiosk and borrow a complementary lay of the land. I enter the nearby cabin and find a set of car keys. I use my situational awareness to see a fellow counselor run to the northern cabin, so I head west towards the boathouse to look for supplies.

Upon closer inspection, I discover the locations of both a gasoline canister and a baseball bat. In magnificent Chad fashion, I firmly grasp the bat in my hands and opt to search the western-most cabin, as well as the workshop. No dice. As I follow my footsteps back around, I notice that Buggzy had found the canister and Tiffany had retrieved a car battery. "Cool, we can get this car started and become a valuable distraction for the team!" I smile, but only for a moment. Tiffany began running towards Springwater Camp to the south and Buggzy set forth his own destiny, committed to filling up the blue car at Birch Ridge.

I had no mouth and I couldn't scream.

No amount of flashlight clicks could stop Tiffany, and by that time Buggzy had begun his own journey. I felt defeated. Suddenly, a man wearing a bag on his head closes in. The yellow car whimpered. The door in proximity had vendetta and was in the act of destruction. I tighten the sweater around my neck and with an effortless swing, Jason is out cold. "Well that was easy," I thought to myself. From the wreckage, another Tiffany and LaChappa climb out from the temporary safety of the cabin and into the night.

Just then, Jason began to rise. The two run south as Jason drew a knife from his holster. I had to protect my friends! Quickly, I approach the masked assailant with the intent of stunning him blind.

A swing and a miss.

Jason wasn't impressed and promptly ripped my jaw out. In my final moments, A.J. came to my lifeless corpse just in time to retrieve the car keys. Tiffany with the battery was still in Springwater Camp and Buggzy was filling up the blue car at Birch Ridge. I was upset. Not necessarily because I died, but because the opportunity for completing an objective had been stolen right in front of me. I was defeated by Jason, Tiffany and Buggzy. Utter incompetence! Fair enough.

A sight for sore eyes walks into the camp. Redemption is nigh!

I'm Tommy Jarvis. The hero. I'm supposed to help these guys? I spawn in just south of Birch Ridge, near the small campsite. I enter the very first cabin in proximity and find a pocketknife, firecrackers and....a gas canister. "Great. Now I have to put this in the yellow car." I drop my shotgun. I was so clouded by judgement that I didn't notice that the blue car had been started and the cops were called. I made it to the slithery road at Birch Ridge before I realized how futile it would be to fill up the yellow car now. So, back I went. All the way back. For my shotgun.

I make it to the serpent road and find the car crashed at the intersection between Birch Ridge and Camp Hillbrook. A.J. was motionless next to the car. Oh hey, my lost car keys! As the counselors were being chased due south out of Camp Hillbrook, I commandeer the controls of the wrecked car. Jason hears the ignition and begins his pursuit. I gun it westbound past the yellow car and stop just past the boathouse. *STATIC!* Jason tried to cut me off with a morph near the kiosk and failed. I turn the car around and drive it skillfully between the lake and the boathouse. A navigational error would surely seal my fate. *STATIC!* Jason takes notice and shifts towards me as I reverse my way back onto the safety of the road. *STATIC!* He comes out of shift. Jason is in front of me now. I drive forward and swerve right, caressing Jason with my car. Mommy must be proud. I drive east just past the boathouse and reverse to see behind me. Motionless. I assumed he would try morph to the police car that had arrived to the west, and I attempt to reverse into him as a distraction. *STATIC!* Too late. Gone.

Though others had escaped, Buggzy, LaChappa and Tiffany(not the one with the battery) were at risk of being brutally murdered. I was not going to let that happen. I slam the accelerator down and gun it westbound going 80mph down the dirt road toward the police exit. Target sighted. I knew that if I crashed into Jason, all of his attention would be on me again. It NEEDED to be true. Brace for impact.

Crash! Even with his back to me, Jason was still able to swing himself around and slam his fists down on the hood. I get out, take aim with my shotgun, and with one deep breath...

BANG!

I miss. After all the commitment I had put into my shotgun, and I miss my one shot. The souls of the forsaken Tommy Jarvis' frown upon my mortal will. Jason swings his pickaxe and pierces my skin. I must think fast! I toss a batch of M80s down and duck under his follow up swing. He was stunned by my moves. I celebrate by runnning a victory circle around him. Out of stun, he grabs me. Buggzy rushes to my aid as Tiffany and LaChappa brace for the onslaught.

No matter. I smile and plunge my knife deep into Jason's neck. Clicking my flashlight as I run to embrace the hesitant, we all walk out together, hand in hand, to the safety of the patrol car. I'm sure the knife left a scar.

Seven counselors went into the camp, two never made it home. That's how the night unfolded at Crystal Lake on 19 September 2017.

The second or third time I was ever Jason, I had just finished trapping the phone box, while stalking, and have the good fortune to have Chad come around the corner and promptly get grabbed/killed.  Off to a great start, right? Then, I hear BOTH cars starting.

They had a little parade going through Packanack, so I stop the first car, and proceed to get stabbed by no fewer than FIVE pocket knives as I try to do the honorable thing.  There's six of them around me dancing over my now maskless body, as I've been having a train run on me for about four minutes.

Nobody bothers to grab the sweater.

Nobody is in a combat stance.

So I started slashing like a Halloween store on November 1st.  The prepubescent giggling turned to wails of anger and contempt as the salt flowed.

Three of them fell before they knew what hit them.  They scatter to the surrounding cabins as I proceed to double trap both driver side doors.  Tommy Jarvis shows up, and I hear the delightful squeak of a young boy who's testicles had yet to descend yell, "I'm gonna shoot you, you slashing [insert racial epitaph here] bitch!"

The second the takes aim, I shift--his shot misses and I grab for a curb stomp--hes so busy screaming racial insults at me, he forgets to use his pocket knife.

I turn to the sound of a trap going off as AJ & Vanessa attempt to start the two cars.  Vanessa escapes the first trap, but is felled by the second one.

Meanwhile AJ is running towards Lachappa.  I hit her with a throwing knife as I stalk shift to Lachappa.  I melee him once to slow him down and grab him for the kill.

I will never criticize a slasher again.  Sometimes, it's worth it to bathe in the tears of your enemies.

Every time the Councilors make an attempt to kill me as Jason and fail is a proud moment for me. In one match a Tommy and an AJ with sweater came at me on the second floor of the Packanack Lodge only to be thrown out the same window Part IV style.

I just had a good three rounds.  I play QP on XbOne.  I've been playing mostly as a Deb/AJ/LaChappa player (I like stealth-repair).  But I just hit level 40 so I think it's time to try something new.  For the past few days, I've been doing random counselors, which has been really fun and challenging.  So this morning, I was in a QP lobby and clearly the rest of the group doesn't really know how to play -- multiple Jasons with zero or one kill; Tommy's radio cabin searched, but he's not been called; batteries, gas tanks, and propellers just sitting untouched in unlocked searched cabins.  I debated just bailing on the lobby altogether, but I thought it might be a nice way to learn the mechanics of some of the other counselors who I'm not used to (low repair-low stealth types).  This is the setting for my three great experiences:

Game 1 -  We are playing on Packanack (original).  I spawn as Tiffany at Woodbury Camp.  I'm the only one up there.  I quickly find a map and see that everyone is hanging around the lodge with the exception of one guy who's down in the Flat Rock cabins.  There's a boat near Flat Rock and the car is near the Lodge, so there's nothing up near me.  I search all three cabins -- collect three pocket knives and a flare gun along the way.  Find nothing else.  I check the map to see progress and......nothing.  Literally NOTHING had been done yet.  Tommy hasn't been called.  No objectives completed.  It's like 3-4 mins into the game at this point.  Shit.  So I start heading down towards the lodge to see what I can find.  Along the way, I find an Adam who clings to me like glue for the next few mins.  We find an unlocked searched cabin with the radio tower.  Tommy still hasn't been called.  Adam starts searching the searched cabin (face palm) and I bee-line for the radio and call Tommy.  Off to the next cabin where we (I) find a gas can and take it to the car.  I drop it for Adam.  He fixes it.  No Jason.  Adam heads into the lodge.  I head to Flat Rock.  There's still one guy down there, but he's sitting still so I figure he's either hiding or AFK.  I go to the first cabin where this guy (Kenny) is still standing outside.  I search the cabin, figuring he's not around so it's fair game, and I find the second gas can.  Great.  Off to the boat to try to repair it with Tiffany (ugh).  As soon as I leave the cabin with the can, Kenny springs to life and follows me.  So off I run to the boat, dumb ass Kenny tromping along behind me.  I drop the can at the boat and run back.  Thankfully, dumb ass Kenny puts the gas in while I'm gone.  Second cabin, there's the propeller.  I check the other objectives -- someone has FINALLY put the battery in the car and only one kill for Jason.  I run back where dumb ass Kenny is still standing at the dock doing nothing (waiting for me to do all the work).  I drop the propeller -- he stares at me.  I click on the flashlight -- he runs in a small circle.  Finally, he gets the hint.  He installs the propeller and makes about 6 mistakes.  Thankfully Jason is occupied with the car (which is still not started).  Dumb ass Kenny tries to get in the boat to drive.  No way.  I push him out of the way and hop in.  He gets in and we sail away right as I hear the Jason music.  Thankfully, he's an inexperienced Jason, so he doesn't catch up.  Dumb ass Kenny spawns as Tommy.  I've never felt like Tiffany can be a hero, but MAN did she pull Adam and Kenny through that match (spoiler, both Adam and dumb ass Kenny/Tommy escape in the car later).

Game 2 - We are playing on Packanack (small).  I spawn as Vanessa by myself in the lodge.  I grab the shot gun and take off down to the cabins near Hodder's Path since no one else is there.  I find the gas can and run it to the lodge where an Adam is searching.  I drop it for him since his repair is higher and I run back to grab my gun.  I search the next cabin and check the map to see that Adam hasn't put the gas in the 4-seater still.  Ugh.  So I run back and put the gas in myself (silently cursing Adam and swearing vengeance if he steals my gun.  I make a mistake while putting in the gas and brace for the static, but thankfully, Jason is preoccupied elsewhere.  I run back and take my gun (Adam has moved on without it).  I run back to Hodder's Path and see that Tommy's cabin is the last one there.  I call Tommy, loot the cabin, and see that someone has put the battery in the 4-seater and it looks like they are starting it up.  I run back because I figure I earned a spot in that car.  I get there as Adam and someone else (a Tiffany, maybe?) are in the car.  With another Adam and a Kenny running around.  There's Jason.  I jump in the car and Adam.....doesn't leave.  He's waiting for either of the other two guys to take the last seat.  But Jason is literally directly behind them.  Face palm.  Clearly, Jason doesn't go for them.  He bee-lines it to the car and smashes it.  Fuck.  So I jump out and take a shot with the shot gun.  And.....I miss.  And.....the other Adam jumps into the car.  It speeds away while I get sliced it half.  I immediately respawn as Tommy, which is fun.  In my mind, there are four counselors left (three in the car and a random Kenny).  I spawn on the road near the exit.  The four-seater (with only three people) comes flying back with Jason hot on its tracks.  It stops for me, but I figure that my role is to save the counselors.  It's a dick move to leave with random Kenny still mulling about.  So I opt to charge Jason and stun him with the shot gun.  It works.  But the car has left at this point without me.  I check my map to find Kenny to see that, upon seeing the car leave, he quit (UGH!).  So now it's just me and Jason.  And the car just left.  And I'm weaponless.  I run off and jump into a cabin to check the map.  The two-seater has gas in it, but no battery.  The battery isn't on the map, nor the keys, nor the fuse.  Shit.  Jason's on me.  Fast-forward -- I successfully dodge Jason and lose him in the lodge.  I find the battery in a nearby cabin, but Jason's on me.  I run back to the lodge and lose him again.  I head back for the battery and get it over to the two-seater.  Jason's on me again.  I run back to the lodge again, and lose him again.  I get the battery installed.  Still no keys.  I'm running around searching for any cabins that haven't been searched, but they have ALL been searched already.  Where are the keys?  They aren't on the map so they must have been sitting in a drawer that got missed.  Needle-haystack.  Long story short (too late), I am back in the lodge looking for any unopened drawers when Jason finds me.  And, right on cue, the two minute warning hits (the lobby hasn't lost many people, which is a bit of a thrill since I know they are watching).  I shoot Jason with flare gun (my pocketknife is long gone) and run outside.  Jason thinks I'm heading to the car, so he teleports over there.  I head back into the lodge and upstairs.  I lock myself in the adjoining rooms and wait by the window.  Jason realizes his mistake and comes back for me.  It takes him a minute to find me.  He rages through the door, I jump out the window.  Now I'm injured and I have no idea where to run.  I hobble up to the first of the green cabins thinking I can do the window hopping trick one more time.  Jason arrives and rages through the door.  I hit "A" to hop out the window and.....I survived the night!

Game Three - Also on Packanack (small).  This time, I'm Buggzy.  Shit.  I really have NO idea how to play as Buggzy.  I spawn down on Hodder's Path.  I search all of the cabins and get set up with a baseball bat, car keys, and pocket knife.  And I've called Tommy.  I head up to the lodge and run across a Tiffany.  We'll call her Blue Tiffany.  She and I stick together for a while.   We separate at the small green cabins.  She searches one, I search the other.  I find the gas can.  I pick it up and put it down.  Right on cue, she comes running.  Great!  She gets it.  She takes the gas can and we head down to the two-seater.  A quick look at the objectives and I see that the battery is already installed.  Awesome.  We are out of here.  She starts to put in the fuel.  I wait at the door.  She makes about a dozen mistakes.  Thankfully Jason is off killing someone at the four-seater instead.  In the meantime, another Buggzy, a Devil Tiffany, and an AJ have all showed up.  We are ALL down at the two-seater now.  And Blue Tiffany is still making mistakes.  AJ flashes her light to get her to switch.  No doing.  Blue Tiffany is determined.  She makes MORE mistakes.  Are.  You.  Kidding.  Me.  Blue.  Tiffany!?!?  Jason, unsurprisingly statics in right as Blue Tiffany finishes.  I hop in the car and start it up, knowing full well that there's going to be a frenzy trying to get in the second seat.  Turns out, AJ is the one who gets in.  Did she deserve it?  Not sure.  I don't know who put in the battery.  And, frankly, I don't care.  I take off.  Other Buggzy stuns Jason.  We fly to the exit.  I immediately respawn as Tommy AGAIN.  Damn.  As the animation is happening, I think "Blue Tiffany deserves to get saved.  She fucked up a bunch of times, but she got that gas in the tank, dammit."  So off I run to find Blue Tiffany.  Along the way, I see that the battery for the four-seater is on the map.  I swing over, grab it, and install it.  Back to Blue Tiffany.  I find her and other Buggzy (now just Buggzy since I'm not him anymore) running from Jason.  Blam. Shot gun.  They run off, I join them.  We meet up with Devil Tiffany.  A few more rounds of cabin-hopping until we end up in the cabin with the phone.  Devil Tiffany has gone rogue and run off.  Jason follows her.  Buggzy jumps out and fixes the phone.  I call the cops.  The three of us head down the exit.  I drop off Blue Tiffany and Buggzy and check my map.  Devil Tiffany has gotten the four-seater fixed.  Damn.  Good on you girl.  But Jason is on her.  I see the icon stop, so I figured she crashed.  Then the icon blinks and appears in between two nearby cabins.  HUH?  So off I run.  She needs my help.  I get up there to find that the car has glitched and is underground.  Devil Tiffany is injured.  Jason is on her.  I knock him around with my wrench and we dive into a small cabin.  I grab a trap and put it at the door.  Jason starts breaking in.  I wait for the trap to snag him and jump through the window.  Devin Tiffany is right behind me.  I give her my first aid.  She heals.  We run off for the others.  Jason must have lost sight of us because he's not behind us but is still showing up on the map nearby.  We meet up with Buggzy and Blue Tiffany, but there's still about 45 seconds on the clock for the cops.  Shit.  If Jason finds us, he's going to get one of us.  Looks like it will be me.  Not helping matters?  Buggzy, who's running around in circles and swinging his bat at the air.  Face Palm.  Static.  Jason spawns near us, but still a little away.  He's facing the wrong way.  The police arrive.  They are just a few feet away.  We are going to make it!  Celebration for all of that escort XP.  And.....Jason rage quits.

It's been a good day.  LOL.

Okay I registered an account here just to reply to this thread, First thing's first, this game may not be perfect at all, but it's like life wish fulfillment as an eternal nut for this franchise. I've been desperate to play this ever since I saw the kickstarter, but only just last week grabbed a PS4. Immediately got the game, and for the past 4 days, I've been binging so hard. I feel like level 26 in 4 days is a little unhealthy. But I'm content with my life choices.

ANYWAY, yesterday gave me the most stressful bit of gaming I've had in a very long time. Did a QL with AJ. Spawned right next to the phone box cabin. Knew my doom was coming because of course whoever this Jason was, they'd make a play for the box because I have the luck of Al Bundy. And literally before I could sprint inside the nearest cabin, there's mah boi from Part 8 morphing right next to me. "He knows to go to the phone box, he has his strategy already mapped out, he's not new to Jason, I'm screwed." But I barely secure the doors, set a bear trap at one, have a flare gun ready to stun. I'm making it clear to him that he's got more important shit to do than bother with me for what's going to be at least a couple of minutes.

But then he does something very wrong. He makes it his life's mission to murder me. He doesn't bother with other objectives. He doesn't chase after anyone else. It's like I pissed him right the fuck off and something snapped in his head.

So. He proceeded to try to kill me. And only me. For 9 straight minutes.

He hacks his way into that cabin and I race for the next. And the next. And the next. And the next. Barely recovering stamina. Occasionally not even having time to fortify both entrances, and when I do, he combat stances his hits so the doors go down fast. Surviving the damage from diving through closed windows by being lucky enough to find a spray. I have no map, no walkie, no pocket knives, almost no real time to check drawers (but when I do they're empty anyway), one machete, and a lot of fear. One moment came where he was about to grab, and I was lucky enough that my machete slash actually stunned him (because, I mean, AJ with a machete). This entire match was the game giving me a gigantic middle finger.

But I kept surviving. I kept barely getting away. And it just pissed Jason off more and more.

And then the sound of the four seater starting up pissed him off eeeeeven more. Because he realized how badly he tunnel visioned. So he starts going for the car. For the first time in, like, 7 minutes, I can breathe for a second. But not really. Because I want to get in that goddamn car and get the hell out. So after running from Jason for the entire game, this time I run FOR him. Another flare gun in hand. It's 3 counselors trying to make the car happen again but Jason's grabbing, getting knifed, getting stunned, but always keeping the car in place. I show up. Aim the flare gun. He's already been stunned by firecrackers, and they see that I'm there to stun again while they start the car. So I save their asses with the flare stun before he can reach through the window again and they're able to drive. He gives chase. I look at my map and see which main road exit they're more likely to take if they make it.

SPRINT SPRINT SPRINT SPRINT SPRINT. Jason may get the car stopped again and again and it'll be for nothing, but maybe he won't. Maybe they'll just barely get by if his morph isn't precise enough or his shift is just short or if they make the hairpin turns well without hitting anything. The car starts approaching the main road from one direction. I'm running for them from the other. "Please repay the favor and give me a chance to jump in, please don't be dicks like so many other counselors in cars, pleeeease." Jason pops up on the map right on top of the car before they get to the road. I'm terrified his morph was spot on and he stopped it. NOPE. JUST MISSED. I've now almost hit the road as they turn onto it. As I run down the hill to the road, the car starts to go past me... AND STOPS. THEY'RE GOING TO LET ME IN. And thanks to sweet baby Jesus, the back door closer to me is the one that's empty. I hop in. Before the door can finish closing, JASON APPEARS RIGHT ALONG SIDE. His shift got him a step and a button hit away from stopping all four of us. We're all gonna die--

NOPE. The driver floors it and Jason's ability to stop the car was literally a split second away. But he couldn't hit it. He had just morphed, he had just shifted, his rage was still a good minute away, and we successfully escaped.

Sure, you can say Jason played poorly by focusing on me so damn much because he was just asking for trouble from everyone else. But as the one person he focused on so damn much, it was a non-stop adrenaline rush from start to finish in a way no other match had been, and I'm still astonished that I could keep him at bay completely on my own without time to take a breath AND still help out the others when they needed it AND still escape.

I already loved the game, but after that? I'm proposing marriage to it.

@daveliam and @dietgreentea, those were beautifully written contributions, (and yes, I read every word of each entry). I love the tales that come out of this game! It really is like describing the last twenty minutes if a Friday the 13th movie to someone who hasn't seen that one yet. That was how I got introduced to the storylines of the first few as a kid, and I loved it!

Playing as a Heroic Deborah was my Proudest Moment as a Counselor and Finally Landing a Shift grab was my Favorite moment as Jason, Needless to say I Asphyxiated everyone because they had been trash talking me and laughing at me for the whole Match

You laugh you get the shitty kill.

And as Deborah I had found the Shotgun in The Barns, I was on Higgins Small, Mitch and Vanessa were following me around, Jason Found us, We ran into the a Small Cabin, Vanessa Hid Under something, Mitch attracted Jason's Attention while I trapped the Cabin, Jason Bursts in, Gets Trapped, He Breaks out, I let Mitch run out from the Window, I shoot Jason But Miss and Jason Ends Up Killing me, Both Vanessa and Mitch Ended Up Surviving.

Not a specific moment, but whenever I kill a full survive with friends group I get really happy, especially if they're really toxix. Recently I was on the map with the big blood lodge with the basement in the center and this group just kept disarming my traps in my face, butt dancing, flicking their flashlights, the usual bit. They were even wearing those gaudy bright clothes from the DLC (No offense devs but wtf were you thinking?).  These bastards didn't even seem to care about doing repairs or escaping, and I could just feel that they were laughing at me on Discord or whatever.  But then my bloodlust kicked in.  A couple hatchets and some tunneling later (Yes I admit it, but they were toxic first) I got their leader before he could heal himself (op perks are op), playing the nerdy kid with the glasses of course, and the rest soon crumbled. Of course in the post game chat they called me a camper and told me they were reporting me because they're "friends of the devs." So yeah if I'm banned soon you guys will know why lol  but it felt good killing all those taunting survivors

I wish I had it recorded, but I was in a lobby with people who could kill Jason. They killed him 2x.

I was my Savini, and I remember kind of trembling, because they took my mask off, they had the sweater, were as a group and Tommy was with them with a machete.

I remember they were chasing me, Tommy staying in the back to avoid being targeted first. I hit a desperate shift, shifted right on top of Tommy, and was able to get a grab kill before they could break my grip. This was before Tommy came into the game with a knife and health spray.

But right after that, they all scattered and swore, and sweater girl was next. I remember shaking of adrenaline haha. Good times.

The other day I killed Jason as Tommy. The whole group teamed up and demasked him. I got grabbed picking up the mask and throwen into a fireplace. I spawned in as Tommy and ran right to Jason and shot him in the face. The sweater girl dropped the Axe she was carrying and I picked it up. As soon as Jason stood up he got sweater stunned. I smacked him with a light attack and then spammed the button prompt to kill Jason. It was my first ligit Jason kill. It was a one, two, three act of good coordination between two players when the Jason kill is normally performed with three.

Fixed boat on packanack all by myself against Savini Jason as fox without mistakes (The other 7 were all playing grab ass with Jason at the main house I guess, it was QP). Escaped by myself, because no one thought to check objectives or the map, and then watched the host run down 3 other counselors in the car.

They may not be the best of all my experiences, but I just had two very quick matches with a few friends running some QP:
