Sorcery books with sigils and runes to stop jason

what about carving  runes  on a tree to stop jason from coming to that area.finding a book with a sigil that can be carved on a cabin or tree that will stop jason from entering your area space for awhile untill it wears off.this will give players more time to prepare traps and ambushes.or to read a book with occult instruction.
