Splatterhouse 1,434 Posted February 17, 2017 it would be nice to be able to find books with spells to war against jason.just because it wasnt in an 80s movie doesent make it stupid. When have counselors ever found books and cast spells against Jason? I want to play Friday the 13th: The Game, not Dungeons and Dragons. You have absolutely no idea about how angry the fanbase would be if this kind of stuff was in the game - not to mention how much it would dis-illusion your more gamer type who saw the films and will be buying the game. The game is being released very soon this year. In regards to DLC....fans will want to see maps of Manhattan, Lazarus, Part VI camp etc Not floating heads, demonic dogs, zombies etc

Darrin Howard 72 Posted February 17, 2017 im simply participating because im a huge fan of friday the 13th. my ideas can be expressed as long as i follow the rules. But Back to my position on hidden maps, books, secret info. maybe there is books that when read give you the recipe to make an amulet or talisman to stop jason from seeing you. or stop him from going around you.maybe there could be books that show you the direction of the forest rangers station.reading the diary of other campers could also help. these ideas could fit with story mode. The developers have been trying to, and have successfully created a game faithful to the original movie series. There won't be demonic dogs, there won't be any floating heads "you can give incense sticks to and feed" to get information (your words), there won't be any forest park rangers, no amulets, no talismans, no casting spells, no black magic, no digging up graves, no Jason Goes to Hell filmmaker injokes like the Necronomican you can read, no sim-cooking with other counselors....none of this will be in a game that's release date is upcoming and imminent. None of it. Absolutely none of it. It won't even make DLC. If the developers choose to create DLC they will endeavour to produce DLC that is faithful to the Friday lore as they have indicated literally thousands of times over the last 18-something months....no witches, no broomsticks, no sorcerers and no potions. None of it. Please re-read this post, until you completely fathom the above paragraphs. It's becoming very tiresome and very repetitive for everyone to read.
GunMedia_Ben 3,032 Posted February 17, 2017 General warning not to turn this into a flame war. As much as Mr. Howard always brings up ideas related to occult and mystic ideas for the game, he is still more than welcome to make his ideas be known. You can say you disagree, but try not to get into personal insults and attacks on intelligence. A verbal warning for you all to please keep it civil, regardless of subject matter. It's a game, it's a game that will stick faithfully to the franchise in as much a capacity as possible.
Davidt 763 Posted February 17, 2017 I always try to be respectful when disagreeing with peoples ideas on here. Everyone has different opinions and whether or not u agree with them there is no need to throw insults at each other. As jpops has been saying just agree to disagree and move on we all have the same love for horror here so there is no need to fight with one another.

(Three exclamations points to make my point!) I want to play both*. Just not at the same time. *Fistbump* *Technically I play Pathfinder nowadays, but same deal. Risinggrave 1,571 Posted February 18, 2017 This forum is a lost cause nowdays. My opinion. It has it's moments. Yes lets have Jason yell and squirt out rainbow pudding if a spell is cast on him. This is done by a counselor whos a warlock but really a transvestite demon who came from Eternia. Then Jason can call his mom and ask Baraka if he can borrow his wrist blades to implale people because his magic dagger runs out of glitter powder. Hell im all for it. Yup. Sounds good to me! Are you describing Hordak? Man the 80's rocked.
