Skip cutscenes feature?

Recommended Posts

After 2 years, I just got the trophy for 500 matches as counselor last week - as Jason I am at 150 matches I guess (judging by my badges, on PS4 no chance to tell).

I doubt that I ever will get the 500 or 1000 Jason matches trophy, so not sure if skipping cutscenes will be of much help.

Personally I think these Trophies/Achievements are just fucking ridiculous. No way I’m ever putting that amount time or effort into a game as mediocre as this. The playing as Jason ones are especially fucked up since it’s completely random, it wouldn’t be such a big deal if you at least had the option of choosing who to play as. - Only thing I’m not aware of with this one is if Offline Bots count towards the Trophy/Achievement but I assume it doesn’t.

I'd rather see the option to skip cutscenes for the single player challenges. As finicky and unpredictable as counselors detecting Jason is, I'm surprised that hasn't been added.

Yeah, I would love it if they did that. Can't stand having to watch the same cut scenes over and over when I screw up a single player challenge.

They can't do it for single player because the AI starts in the cutscenes. If you skip cutscenes in single player the counselor AI goes off track. Same with the game loading during multiplayer, the cutscenes are used to properly sync the online parts up.

Both are valid points.

Really? The cutscenes are used to mask additional loading?
