Whats the best movie in the F13 Franchise?   Obviously the series went downhill after 4 to consider any of those the best in the series.

I agree 100% ....Jason lives is in my opinion had the most cohesive script......it plays off all the original Horror tropes, and to me it feels like a mix of all the best parts of the original movies and adds to the mythology of Jason Voorhees in the best way making him truly a back from the dead unstoppable killing Machine.

I have to, at least partially concur with @OCT 31 1978 and @Dragonfire82877. Part 6 was honestly one of the best ones. For me, it's a toss up between 4 and 6. The remake deserves an honorable mention as well.

Mad respect for your placement of Jason X on your list...........not going to lie I kinda love that movie....

its one of the only Jason movies I can just put in and watch that doesn’t feel like you need to watch any of the other films prior to it or after it.

As much as people dislike the movie, I find “Jason Goes To Hell” entertaining every time I look at the kill count of it. I may just buy it just to have it. In fact I like the costume and the look Jason had. It looked, toxic. Like it looked bad/creepy in a good way. I liked the fact that the mask was attached to his face, because essentially, the mask was his new face. 

 

I honestly like the design better than Savini Jason. Savini Jason looks great, but it doesn’t look like Jason. It doesn’t really embody the character. That’s why I classify Roy & Savini Jason as the fake Jasons in Friday The 13th the game. Jason from Part 9 looks creepier and nasty, which I think fits the character well. 

But, Part 4, Part 2, Part 1, & Part 6 are the best movies in the franchise.

I agree with you on Jason goes to Hell I like it a lot as well.....if you do pick up the movie make sure you get the unrated cut of the film, it has a lot more gore and graphic scenes in it than the R rated one.

Agreed! I love it for the kills and the Jason design the plotline wasnt that bad to me and its a re-watchable film.

I agree I actually don’t like Savini Jason. He doesn’t have that Jason feel at all and didnt take any characteristics from jason9 which is the best looking Jason in my opinion. I agree, Part 9 looks like a disease. Which he should. Look at images of him and tell me he don’t look the creepiest out of all the Jason variants.

I vote for Part 6. Not just the script,  but I think it had one of the funniest moments when the little guy shot Jason with a paintball gun after Jason killed 3 with one blow. Overall, I like all the movies with Freddy vs Jason coming in last.

I know some of my opinions are probably super unpopular but these are just my own personal conclusions. I think Parts 2, 3, and 7 are insanely overrated. I thought Part 2 Jason had the coolest costume of any Jason up until the remake but he just wasn't scary in that movie and the way he ran with the pitchfork was ridiculous. He swayed his legs back and forth like he had hemorrhoids that had just been inflamed by sitting on a grenade. I thought Part 3 was too cheesy and the 3D stuff was too obvious so it effected any 2D viewing negatively. Part 7 I just didn't like any of the characters and thought the ending was stupid, although it did have some good kills.
