As discussed on BEYOND, this patch is coming in as soon as it completes the process. The patch is rolling out to certification now and should be on it's way to players soon. Keep an eye out here for the date, or on our social media channels.

EDIT 1: The patch is now live on Steam, rolling out on PS4, and on the way shortly on Xbox One. 

PATCH NOTES:

GENERAL & FINE TUNING

  • Various Quality of Life fixes implemented to the Virtual Cabin 2.0.
  • Removed helium from various floating objects on all maps.
  • Resolved an issue with environmental kills not displaying on Higgins Haven Small.
  • Fixed an issue with the Emote user interface. Dance like nobody's watching…
  • Various Quality of Life fixes for Menu items.

ENVIRONMENT AND COLLISION

  • Resolved multiple issues that allowed players to reach rooftops on all maps.
  • Resolved multiple issues that allowed players to reach areas that Jason could not reach on all maps.
  • Made areas where players were stuck less sticky.
  • Fixed an issue where the Shift ability would allow Jason on rooftops.
  • Cars no longer damage players through walls.
  • Fixes applied to prevent counselors from parking the car and blocking Jason from reaching them.

INTERACTION LOCKS  
    Corrected several scenarios that caused players to suffer an interaction lock including:

COUNSELOR:

  • During bear trap deployment or interaction.
  • While performing blocks.
  • While weapon swapping.
  • While weapon swapping and entering combat stance.
  • During small item use.
  • While dropping items.
  • After using the map.
  • After aiming the flare gun or shotgun.
  • Dodging while dropping a weapon.

JASON:

  • When shifting and interacting with items, environment, or counselors.
  • When shifting into water. (He really wasn’t a good swimmer.)

JASON SPECIFIC CHANGES

  • Using the sweater to stun Jason while he is already down will not activate the next phase of the kill progression, and will not allow players to kneel him directly from the down state. This was an unintended effect where players were able to stun a stunned Jason, leading to the Tommy Jarvis kill on Jason.
  • Fixed an issue where Jason shifting to avoid the sweater stun animation still allowed counselors to bring him to his knees without the stun.

Nowhere in these notes,or anywhere else is the biggest problem with this game being recognized, the cheating/Jason helpers. Add the rage change from last update and you have a major game breaking issue that NEEDS to be addressed, please..

How do you address something they have no control over (when it comes to Jason helpers) ?

How about you put friendly fire back on for instance,or at least have a toggle option on off friendly fire in the lobby,why is it not being addressed ,even acknowledged is the part I'm confused about

If you want friendly fire, play in private lobbies.  

Bringing back team killing would be an even bigger problem...besides what do you think these teamers you're complaining about will do?  Instead of chasing you down with a car, they'll just shoot you. 

The reason why Gun can't do a whole lot about teaming is that it's not always completely egregious.

Like I said,actual options in the lobby,toggle friendly fire on/off..the new rage mode isn't helping matters either,some cases you have a group beating Jason into rage minutes into the match ,and as a counselor not teaming with jason,you have no way to fight back,game over

Again, how do you address that? They try to create work arounds but only way is to eliminate party or various game chats to be excluded. Even then a player can still fix the car and run people over to help Jason. 

I realize creating LfGs for private matches is a thing of the past for this game unless you have a club or group, but do you see how many players just swing endlessly at each other as is? No thanks bud.

What about the glitch after where Jason stops the car and counselor gets out and can't swing/attack their weapon? Happens all the time and you have to drop your weapon and pick it up again to get back to normal.

The teamers are annoying, but still not as bad as the 5 or more people who used to do nothing but chase Jason around the map in every match. As a counselor-only player, I love the rage update. People are actually fixing things again & the person chosen as Jason doesn't leave immediately 8 out of 10 times anymore.

I'm with you. Initially I didn't like it but it forces ppl to try and escape and makes the games faster which is nice.

i really appreciate this patch if it does what is promised then great. And jason's rage is fine as it is people need to work to get the win not expect it easy its a "survival horror" game after all

Or they're just bumrushing Jason, demasking him in the first minute, watching two of them die and then killing Jason by the 5 minute mark now.  Which then means fixing anything is pointless.

Teaming really killed it for me too. The last time I played was with 6 damn friends and we STILL had Jason helpers in literally every lobby we hit lol I haven't played since. No idea how they could fix this but yea it's a bummer :(

This game has all sorts of flaws but is a great game. 

1. Why do you need to remain in lobby after you die for credit? No other game does that. At least they fixed the game that if the lobby captain rage quits and everyone loses xp issue. 

2.  To many pocket knives. If the counselors were actually using them for things other than trolling Jason then we would need that many but really all they do is hold them till end of game to troll and tbag which is a waste of time and childish. 

3. To many players are afraid to die so they create lobbies with the craziest requirements no slashing LOL in a slasher game shit the  the word slasher probably was because of F13 and no spawn killing-- high my name is Jason what its not late enough for me to kill you ok Ill come back once you have a pocket knife, which leads back to #1 they don't want to die early and be forced to watch the game for 20 minutes. 

4. Jason helpers no matter what game you play there will be times that there is teamers just got to roll with it you can't escape or win every game.

5. Counselors are to strong they debuff Jason and the % of counselor escapes went up dramatically. Jason should install fear and make the counselor run away not towards him with no fear not a fan of that.

I would like to propose an idea about a way to stun Jason with body-to-leather weapons during the rage mode. My idea is that stuning Jason during the rage mode, can only be possible if the player is a girl with Pamela's sweater. In my opinion this would be an idea that would like a sector, even if it is minimal, that we like to play only a counselor. This would cause that going for the sweater is something that weigh more than two vece, and not simply grab the sweater because you crossed with the house of Jason. And Jason would have very easy to get rid of the stun of the girl in the sweater, since it would simply be enough to kill the girl in the sweater and there would be no way to stun Jason during the Rage Mode (Obiomante ignoring the fact that the shotguns, and take away the Mask are sun stun). And using the sweater to pretend to be Jason's mom as he takes off your sweater would also cause you to lose the stun in the rage mode

Mentioned in the stream that it's being investigated but they can't pinpoint the root cause at this time.

Hey guys I think all these improvements are great but what about the levels some people lost with the last game problem. I was 88 and got put down to 0 and had to start all over with badges and tapes.
