Just really amazing that this game only survived for like 1 year. And Gun decided to drop this game due low playerbase and excuse was the lawsuit. Miller said he's got nothing to do with the game but Wes insists that there will be no new content. Fuck this shit and your business.

Get out, come back when you’ve calmed down.

They’re never going to see or care about your post. All you’re doing is venting pointlessly but it isn’t pointless, we all have to see your temper tantrum. I happen to like the game/forums and would rather if the forums didn’t descend into this toxic nonsense again. You hate the company, don’t play their product. Go write a review on GameStop or something, just do it elsewhere.

You’re responsible for your emotions and the actions you take. Now I’ve said my piece and I’m going elsewhere in camp, if you’re calm behave that way. Start by editing the OP and making it clear what the hell you’re mad about. This isn’t a good topic, go fix it so it’s at least not toxic crap.

'Excuse with the lawsuit'

Is it time to bang my head against a wall yet?

When did Gun drop this game? Who decided it only survived a year?

If Gun dropped the game, there wouldn’t be any maintenance being done to the game, and there sure as hell wouldn’t be servers to play on. Gun was a victim to the lawsuit just like every other fan of the franchise.

I'll have that wall padded so don't hurt yourself from banging your head against it. I don't want anyone getting a concussion. 😎

I could have sworn that we've already buried the dead horse, but I'll swing by the cemetery and double-check.

Maybe it was dropped in a parallel universe. 😎

There must be a lot of wanna-be half-ass doctors around here because a game that is quite obviously still alive keeps getting pronounced dead. If that's how you feel, feel free to leave and never return.

Although a padded wall is a good concept... A helmet would be easier for those who need them here.
I always get to repair the wall after I bang my head on it... so it just makes more work and I try not to do it... but I never needed a helmet... or a padded wall.
Also... repairing brickwork is much more difficult than it looks when you are not actually a bricklayer... it took me a while to get the hang of it... fortunately, I have friends that are bricklayers.

And... in yet another parallel universe... the lawsuit never happened and they are joyfully playing with Uber Jason (and perhaps even other variants unique to their own universe) on new maps with kill packs for every weapon.
This... is reason enough to begin experimenting with inter-dimensional portals... even though there are many "warning flags" waving that say this is probably a VERY bad idea.

It seems to be the thing nowadays, to say a game is "dead" or "dying" or call everything "trash."

Put it into perspective: If Halo: Infinite drops to 2,000 active players withing 1-2 years after release, is that not a dead game?

Both Victor and Horror Inc still have to reach a settlement before the developers can add any sort of variation towards their work. Which is possibly taking place since Horror Inc decided to withdraw the appeal against Victor.

The game use to be only property of Horror Inc, but as of the result of Judge's decision, there's also content in the game that Victor Miller partially owns as well(Example: child Jason from the VC, the Pamela character you hear from the tapes and inside of Jason's head.)

I'd say hang there man. Trust me, I was just as frustrated as you are, but the best we can do is keeping the demand high. The fact they're planning to bring this to the nintendo switch I think is just another good example they want this game's legacy to continue. The longer the legacy continues, the better chance we're able to get the content we never got. Seeing it in a Part 2 game is probably the best scenario.

Not to discredit Layers Of Fears 2 or anything, but giving more attention to F13 and keeping the demand high would definitely help. It lets Gun Media know what the fans really want.

So as long as 1 person is still playing it's not dead? By that logic technically almost every game in existence is not dead, because someone somewhere is still playing it.

If Microsoft saw Halo: Infinite drop to 2k players within 1-2 years they'd start firing a lot of people.

I think people get fired if it doesn't sell rather then if only a certain amount are playing it. I get people prefer to play what is popular and has thousands of people playing, But i just play what is fun, and this game is still fun as F to me... So not dead.. 🍻

Dying would be a better term because by definition, dead is absolute. People have been arguing for some time that this game isn't dead but I challenge anyone to say it's not dying. Most games never die. Hell, people still play that shyte NES Jason game.

Still doesn't mean it's dead.

Do those wannabe doctors accept all forms of medical insurance? 😎

I ponder what that universe lacks if they have all the content we dontr have.
This... is reason enough to begin experimenting with inter-dimensional portals... even though there are many "warning flags" waving that say this is probably a VERY bad idea. I usually have contingencies for those bad idea scenarios.

If one person is still playing the game, it's still alive by definition. If even one person remembers the game even though no one is playing it, then it is alive in spirit.

Hopefully, they reassign the more valuable members of their team. That would be a lot of wasted talent otherwise.
