WHEN GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO ESCAPE IN THE CAR...

Do you look for others before leaving?

Will you run over people who block you from leaving?

Will you "bolt" as soon as Jason is near?  leaving others about to enter the car

Will you stop at the exit and wait for others to jump in if you're alone ?

Do you always bring car parts, the moment they're found, to the car as fast as you can?

Do you protect people installing car parts?

Do you push people out of the way to enter the car?

Do you feel entitle to the car if you've installed the parts?

Do you always work on the 4 seater first?

Do you run away if Jason stops the car OR help fight/distract him?

Get in a car and try and have Jason chase me as long as possible. The mini map shows way too much info, you can always tell where Jason is or where he is going. All while constantly honking the car horn.

Usually nicer then I should be. I will when possible pick other people up. If they continue to stand in my way they get ran over. I will fix the four seater first if the part I found is near it. Otherwise it goes in the two seater so multiple objectives can be pushed at once. I will use a car as a distraction if I'm confident Jason can't stop me. I won't stand there fighting Jason for a car. You never win that fight. I'd rather go try to start the other car or call the cops. Make the big guy pick something to defend. If Jason is near yes I will take off as his best chance to stop the car is when a counselor is climbing in ( I should note I try to swing back for that person or pick up another).

My rules on kindness are pretty simple.

1. Watch my back and I'll watch yours. This includes dealing with escapes.

2. Think of others in the group, not just yourself. Share something with me, and I'll watch your back.

3. Take one for the team. If you do that, then I'll return the favor in the following match.

You pretty much nailed how I try to play. Obviously there are the times I don't manage it but I will usually try to help if I can.

You da man!

This is basically how I play too.  Often I'll repair and let someone else take my seat.

I also enjoy escorting fellow counselors to the police exit.

I'm level 150, so I'd rather help others get XP and just enjoy myself.

It's the thought and effort that both count.

Thanks. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this mindset.

I don't give a shit about the car, so if I have nothing better to do (likely a blotched Jason kill), I'll do what I can to get the car out for others.  Stun Jason, body block driver so he can start the car, even martyr myself (only to have the car crash after I died >:|).

I try to always treat people the way I want to be treated weather it’s in game or in real life.

I do that quite a bit anymore as well. I almost never leave via the cops if others are still making their way there.

WHEN YOU FIND THE PHONE FUSE...

Do you hold it until YOU find the fuse house?

Drop it automatically so everyone sees it on the map?

Give it to someone else as fast as you can?

Find some smart counselor and give it to them?

Drop it at the fuse house (without putting it in) and run away?

Use radio and tell everyone you have it and ask where the fuse house is?

Only install yourself when no one is around so only you can call the cops (hopefully because you have the MY DADS A COP PERK)?

Take it with you while you escape in a car or boat?

Leave it in the drawer without taking it because you feel it's a cheesy way to escape and you respect Jason too much for that?

Install yourself even if you're a dumb counselor?

Keep installing as Jason is closing in on you?

Step on traps at fuse box (using your health spray)?

Step on traps at fuse box (even without a health spray)?

Take it to the fuse house. Then I either hide it out of view a bit and run the trap or run the trap and attempt the install. Ideally I'm using Mitch or Lachappa and have a knife. if the the high repair/knife combo is in play those cops are getting called.

Unless Jason checks his map every 5 seconds like I do, lol :P

True. The ones who check their maps make it harder. Most of the time you can pull it off though. Especially if you pick a moment you know they're distracted.

WHEN YOU SEE SOMEONE IN TROUBLE...

Do you attack Jason?

Do you run away?

Do you act as a decoy?

Do you heal them?

Do you watch them die with joy?

There's a difference in being nice and being helpful. Nice people don't have to be helpful, just as helpful people don't have to be nice. It does help when they are both.

I try to.

Will you run over people who block you from leaving?

Yup especially if I suspect you are working with Jason.

Will you "bolt" as soon as Jason is near?  leaving others about to enter the car

Not typically

Will you stop at the exit and wait for others to jump in if you're alone ?

It depends how close they are.

Do you always bring car parts, the moment they're found, to the car as fast as you can?

Typically

Do you protect people installing car parts?

Yup

Do you push people out of the way to enter the car?

No

Do you feel entitle to the car if you've installed the parts?

No

Do you always work on the 4 seater first?

No

Do you run away if Jason stops the car OR help fight/distract him?

Hell sometimes I don't even try to get in the car. I like to beat Jason up so the car escapes.

I will be the decoy when someone else is trying to repair "stuff" or escape in the boat... even with the warning for the boat, you can still distract Jasons that are not paying attention... even very experienced Jason players.
I will run across the map just to heal someone (as long as they were not being an asshole)… and I do not use the medic perk.
I will install any part I find into the nearest vehicle (or put the fuse in the box and make the call) as quickly as possible. Then I will keep looking for parts to continue repairing as many things as possible.
I will drive around the map until the car is full before escaping.... the boat is another matter... if I see someone on the way to it when I have the last repair part, I will tell them to follow me, if they do not follow... I will not wait... and yes, boat escapes are still viable.
I will help any other player with whatever they need help with (as long as they were not being an asshole).
I will make calling Tommy a priority if I notice he has not been called early on.
I will give up my seat in the boat or the car if some actually asks nicely... Believe it or not, some people do ask nicely... occasionally.
I will sacrifice myself (if necessary... or I need a smoke) to give anyone else a chance to escape, or to get the cops or Tommy called... or even just to give someone else a chance to get away from that stinky walking corpse for a few minutes longer... as long as they were not being an asshole.

But not necessarily in that order.

I will run over someone who is standing in front of the car demanding that someone get out so he (or she) can have a seat.... First come, first serve (whether I repaired it or someone else did)... and assholes are not welcome, nor will they get any help from me with anything... They are, after all... assholes.
I did leave in the car alone... once. But that was just to get the "Chad is a Dick" achievement, and I was not even playing Chad at the time.... Well... maybe I took the car alone a few other times when I was the only one left alive... but you have to admit... at that point, my options were limited.

I guess I take a balanced approach, maybe leaning slightly jerkish.

If I contributed to fixing the vehicle, I do feel entitled to enter it if I'm near it when it's being started and I'll absolutely push people out of the way whether I helped or not. If someone finds the last component and gets it started while I'm off somewhere else, more power to them.

If I find the keys before the car is fixed, I'll drop them by the car, may the odds be in your favor. I might even drop them in front of another counselor if I run across one because I don't want the responsibility. If they're the last piece of the puzzle and I find them, train's leaving, boys and girls.

If I know I have the last component to the car or the boat, I'll spam my flashlight if I happen to come across another player on the way there, *maybe* I'll go a little out of my way and flag someone down if Jason isn't nearby but not often.

If someone's fixing the car and I'm there too, I'll watch their back or offer to fix it myself since I always pick counselors with high repair, but I usually won't go running into a fight from somewhere else. If Jason stops the car I'm in, every man for himself.

I like fixing the 4 seater first, but if I'm unsure which is which I'm just going to whichever is closer. The exceptions would be if one car already has the battery and I'm holding the gas or vice versa unless I find a component in the cabin right next to the 2 seater.

If I'm driving the car and someone comes into my path, I'll stop if Jason isn't already on me and I'd expect another player to do the same for me. If Jason's on the car, I'm running the opposite way.

As far as the phone fuse, it only recently dawned on me that it's inefficient to pocket the phone fuse and continue to look for other objective components while hoping I run across the phone box, so I've taken to the "stop everything and look for the phone box" approach with mixed results. Again, I'm a repair counselor so I'd rather just do it myself.

But yeah, whatever you want to call my style, that's it right there.

I main Shelly.

My goal is to fix as much as possible before being killed. Escape isn't much of a worry to me, just a bonus.

Gas and batteries and keys to the cars, pocket knife on traps, repairing the phone and using my "My Dad is a Cop" perk, repairing the boat and starting it but then not driving it anywhere to bait jason to morph towards the boat exit...

You know, gameplay that isn't focused in trying to kill Jason, but rather being a help to others, as the game is meant to be played.

My mains are Lachappa and debbie but i use chad and victoria if i meet any teamers. I teabag them and dance , stun lock them with traps etc... As normal gameplay i like to be role play ( no dup characters ) and can be very kind to fellow counselors , giving them health spray when i got to much of them.

Ahab plays the same style as I do, to the letter. Except I'm not a smoker, lol. I also don't use medic, but will gladly run to a limping counselor to heal with my only spray. If I see someone is getting attacked by Jason,  and they're not an asshole. I will intercept, even if I'm martyred. I will give up my seat to let lower level players escape, then fight Jason to give them time. Especially if I'm TJ. I never try to kill low level Jason players, unless they're teaming. Then I'll gleefully go all out to preserve the sanctity of our beloved game.
