Wolledc 177 Posted December 25, 2019 Some 30 years ago in my old C64 times end of the 80s: first months only with a Green monitor without any sound. Hard to believe isn‘t it? First games: Neptun‘s daughter, the last Ninja, Maniac Mansion and... Friday 13th the game by Domark (but then with color and sound monitor). This F13 game (much more simple gameplay: just slash everyone till you find Jason) I really got addicted to (played it over and over in 1988-90swith my school buddy and I was happy as we got in 2017 the current game. Bugs, glitches and lawsuit suck, but I am happy what we got. Love it.
Fair Play 4,609 Posted December 31, 2019 @Alex123, Mario was a first for a great many friends of mine. @Wolledc, it sounds like that F13 game was quite the experience back then. I'm glad your school buddy was there to share in the fun times. Gaming makes good friends for life. Maniac Mansion was an awesome game for what it was back then. I wouldn't mind a modern remake of the game.
