What does the community think of the wrong turn series?

Personally I like the series overall and am curious to see if number 7 will redeem the series

2 and 5 5 I think had the best ending. I felt so bad for the final girl

 

2 had a better plot than 3 imo

 

Worst 4 and 6

 

4 had a terrible origin story for the cannibals in my opinion

 

 

6 oh wrong turn 6 what can I say you are by far one of the worst horror movie sequels I've ever seen if I can even call it that. Was more like a badly disguised porno to me

 

And the ending oh yeah let's re open the restraunut from the beginning but now the customers are eating human flesh and the cannibals are the chef's. wtf kind of ending is that?

 

I hate WT6 with a passion horrible movie in my opinion

I've actually never watched them either. Are they very gore-oriented? It's my main complaint with a lot of 2000s horror/slashers, over the top gore just doesnt do much for me

Yes they are quite gory and some plain disgusting scenes like in one of them the hillbillys are making a stew and cutting bits off a guy still alive to throw in with it.

I think the first one is very good and I'm one of those people that think Wrong Turn 4 is a lot of fun. Love the ending as well lol. The rest of them I don't care for.

That’s about it. 2 is probably the best of the bunch.

I avoided them for years and watched them all consecutively a year or so ago. They go downhill ridiculously fast.

I enjoyed the first one for what it was, although Emmanuelle Chriqui got on my last damn nerve. I was so glad when they finally shut her the hell up.

Part 2 was arguably better than the first, at least for me.

Part 3 was kind of a jumbled mess.

I reluctantly gave part 4 a try, and turned it off about 30 minutes in.

Only saw the first one and bits of the second. Seemed fairly enjoyable for a modern slasher, though I had a hard time keeping track of which mutant was which. Wish they were more memorable. Also, they killed off the nicest characters in the first one, while the less likeable ones lived.

They honestly could have done the series better......and I'm pretty sure they did two reboots or retellings.
