Sequence for running out of time.

I admit this is such a marginal pet peeve but I wish ALL possible resolutions to survival had a satisfying conclusion. Escaping always feels good and defeating Jason feels incredible. But for that really unlikely chance you dodge Jason for 20 minutes, it feels kind of unsatisfactory when the game just fades to black. I thought it would be nice to have a cut scene showing you making it to the cops or cops running into to save you (even though they aren’t playable.)

That would actually kinda become logical. It doesn't make sense having a Jason on your ass w/ 10 seconds remaining then all the sudden the both of you just "Pause."

Gun Media needs to show a cutscene of the player(s) getting escorted by the cops. Maybe even let Jason get shot at a few times in the cutscene just to make it make more sense.

It should, because it's not exactly a win. It's one thing to jump in a car and drive off, or even escape to a squad of police officers that are to frightened to enter the camp grounds. Those make sense from a real-world perspective. Declaring victory because the timer ran out, even though Jason had the counselor in his grasp and was about to hit the kill button a second later doesn't work so much.

Now that I think about it, the black screen may serve as a "To be continued" moment. The scenes last so long that they have to cut it out and put a black screen there.

It’s a win by the games standards.

Yes it is, but it doesn't really fit the cinematic experience the game tries to deliver.

No!

The cops should roll in guns blazing and sirens blasting! They should send Jason back to hell! (no bonus xp though)

Having the game end abruptly without a conclusion - even without just a cut scene - couldn’t be more anti-cinematic. So not sure if you’re agreeing with me or just making a point that isn’t quite accurate.

I'm agreeing that it is technically a win for the counselor. But when it happens to me as Jason I don't consider it a loss.

I think if a counselor survives a night it should do like a dream sequence type thing from Parts 1-3, like maybe if you survived the night as Kenny, it'd show Kenny on the canoe in the middle of the lake and then Jason jumps out of the water and pulls him in, only for him to wake up being put into a ambulance or something. Would be a great nod to the films and give it a more climatic and cool ending.
