Jason grab lock-on and grab range increase Hack?

Happened to me. 2 vanessas with speed hack and they were Jason teamers. Jason was dumb af but he was grab spamming. He grabbed out of the standard grab range and he locked onto me or something like that while I was running around him and he grabbed me.  There is a punishment for missing a swing as a counselor why no punishment for Jason when he misses grab? (Jason pref here and I agree he needs a buff)

Actually Jason, can be punished for slashing. But not grabbing, because Jason can move out of the way during his grab animation, this prevents the player from being punished.

Jason's grab radius was widened, doesn't sound like a hack to me.
