Does anybody else hate that 80s girly song they put in?

Recommended Posts

I forget what it's called, but I believe they added it with the Jarvis House and Part IV Jason update, no I'm actually certain they did. I can't stand when that song plays on a cabin radio or the car radio. And it always plays whenever a FEMALE character turns the radio on, which is quite sexist.

Whereas the classic OG tunes from Crazy Lixx are the real stuff of legends. How does it go again, Your heart's beating faster your blood runs cold *guitar riff* and then the one where they keep saying Friday the 13th over and over again, yeah sick. That girly song is so bad though, the only thing I really dislike about this awesome game.

Nope. Summer of Heat is the best song in the game, and it does play when male characters turn on a radio or crank the car too. And it was around long before the Jarvis map.

THE LIGHTS WENT LOW

IT WAS THE FIRST LOVE, IT WAS THE VERY FIRST.. LOOOOOOOO-

:) it's my favorite. The reason you didn't see it as much prior to the Jarvis update is cuz it was like third on the radio rotation. Now it's the default song.

I like that song, 80s theme, goes well with the game. I don't see anything not to like about it (apart from personal taste). I don't see how the song can be sexist, male counsellors can have it play too.

Summer of Heat by Mitch Murder

It's about a chick picking up a crush and uhh "having some fun".

I like this song, synthwave is an awesome genre. It was added to the game because actual 80s songs would cost exorbitant royalties.

As for the claim of sexism, gtfo with that sjw identity political crap!!!

I don't wanna hear any of that music so I set it to Mute Copyrighted material in the audio settings. The staticy radio is more creepy anyway.

I mean this game is set in the 80s so music like summer of heat should be part of it.If anything the misfit song sucks ass they should have added alice cooper, man behind the mask or some better songs by misfits.

Fuck no.

I love girly 80s music and I am glad they put them in the game.

Summer of Heat is the best song on the radio, hands down. It sounds the most 80s of the 4 (or 5?) that play.

I bet the devs handled some arithmetic to determine the most popular chosen song, and it was undoubtedly SOH. Whenever I put on the radio before, when Misfits were the default, I'd always change it to SOH, as would most others. "Feminine" music. Pffft. Get outta here. I'll take jamming female vocal synth pop over hair metal any day.

I like both those song. Best Around has terrific energy, but damn, Like A Prayer is on a whole other level. There's a difference between Madonna and, say, Spears, Aguilera, Bieber and Grande. A big one.

I like it. I usually change the channel on the radio to hear it if it isn't on.

I really like it. I'm pretty sure it's one of those modern retro bands that specialise in producing 80's generic music. I know Crazy Lixx are definitely that. I'm pretty sure the song you're speaking of, is of the same creed. I credit Gun for making me aware that band's like that exist.

This is another one....from the band, "The Midnight"...sounds like 1986 - but nope, 2016! Takes some serious talent to recapture the spirit of the 1980's so well!

Dude are you like 16? You've  NEVER  heard of 80s music? I really hate that song.  I keep turning the radio on and off until Crazy Lixx  comes on because it takes me back to the old days

(I can swear I responded to this already but...)

I'm being serious. Like a Prayer is a beautiful masterpiece.
The Karate Kid song is silly.

(Then there was something else I responded to regarding men not liking pop music. Am I imaging things.....again?)
