You don't get as much XP in offline mode.

I think thats fair.....the counselors are pretty dumb and you can dispense of them quickly would make leveling faster playing offline than online.

it¬īs basically 750xp you miss. 500 for completing, 250 for the team bonus. If you wanna farm hardcore do packanack small. the number of points where they get stuck is riddiculous, i had 3 stuck in the door of the little cabin next to the lodge yesterday. Doing enviroment kills only gets you 1300xp with tommy and one stepping in a trap.

I went from 101 to 150 playing offline mode only on Xbox One.

Double XP. 2,500 to 2,600 xp for a 5 minute match.

You level up every 30 minutes.

Picked part 4 Jason. Packanack small map.

Spawn to main lodge and start killing with environmental kills.

You will start to learn the pattern of the bots and the bugs each map.

Good luck trying to level up fast in quick play on consoles.

Hosts rage quit leaving you with no xp and 10 to 20 minutes wasted.

if you are looking for XP or a complete match, Offline is the way to go.. have to agree with @GhostWolfVikinghere... if you are a console (like me) you are lucky to get a solid 2 matches in a row with out some twat host rage quitting because he couldn't be bothered to wait around after dying early or just waiting in general. Don't get me wrong there is some good folks out there, but a majority are part of the snowflake, me me me generation that needs instant gratification, and waiting around watching others, just doesn't work for their "give me the spotlight or else" attitudes.

I actually dislike the idea of these double XP periods. Its gives people the illusion of having experience without fully earning the experience. I actually consider it a type of cheating and would honestly opt out of it if I could. It makes maxing out your levels somehow less meaningful, and playing against bots that do little more than walk against walls and loop back on themselves rather than thinking humans makes it even worse. I‚Äôm more of a ‚Äúquality, not quantity‚ÄĚ guy.¬†

In this your level doesnt do as much as other games besides mainly cosmetics, so i dont see it as too meaningful here but i have had the game since day 1, whereas ppl who just bought physical copy get skins I have to grind into the dirt to get, so im really liking 2x xp

What? The only thing XP is good for is the awful perk casino system. A system which invariably spends your hard earned xp on duplicates or the same trash perks over and over.

10K XP per Level. at least from 101 to 150. no idea how it was before 101.

This is why @AldermachXI proposed a new level progression system a while back. Under his system, I wouldn't be level 110 and still not have an epic Marathon perk. Instead I have spent well into 100kCp and still don't have it. Pointless system.

@CountYorgaVampir, maybe they should only reward 2xXp to multiplayer. Then again that is like single XP if you get to finish every other match. However, as @DeadlyD said, what does it matter if the player has new outfits and two kills? Why limit it? Its not as if it actually affects anything at all.

I said in another thread, the only reason for this kind of system is to cover for the fact that only a few of the perks are truly worthwhile, so if it wasn't randomised everyone would have very similar perk choices.

I wish that new progression system would have gathered more steam. It just seems fitting for the game. Plus, I've always loved games that reward you by leveling up the things you're actually using. Why should you be able to level up something you never even use?

Completing challenges that are relevant to the thing you're trying to level up is always the funnest way to do it. You feel like you're growing with your play style.

That is true objectively¬†speaking, but psychologically for you and for others seeing your high level it isn‚Äôt. What they should do is stop using the term ‚ÄúXP‚ÄĚ altogether because in many ways they are using it badly. XP level should be able to be used to roughly gauge the level of game experience a player has, but you can‚Äôt really do that if there are periods when XP is doubled. Just my take.¬†

True, but you do get XP a lot more consistently than online play when you factor in the connection issues, hosts leaving  a match, amongst others.

I'm pretty confident it's the same for each level. I paid more attention during this event, and it was roughly the same amount of games I needed to level up each time, allowing for the odd poor game / better than usual game variance. Playing Offline Bots, with double XP, it took 5-6 games per level.

For anyone on PS4 who can't find dedicated hosts, add Imthatdamngood33. We get a lobby going most every afternoon/night and run for several hours without hosts quitting. Solid group of people who don't get mad, close doors, help each other etc. If someone is as ass, we don't let them play.
