steam Voice Chat (PC)
Fred Voorhees posted a topic in Friday the 13th: The Game -- Suggestions/Feedback
I don't know if this has been resolved, or even suggested before on this board, (if so I am sorry) but I do have to ask: Can the voice chat be worked on for this game on PC? What I mean is that when I have my mic headset on, and my audio settings for Mic Headset as 'Default Communication Device' and my stereo as 'Default Device', all the voice chat goes into the stereo (instead of the headset I mentioned). The only way I resolved this myself is by having my mic headset set as 'Default Device' and lower the music and sounds from the in-game audio, and turn up the voice chat all the way to 100%. I wish I don't have to do this, only because I am more used to voice chat being heard in a headset, instead of the stereo of the computer or from my TV. It's what I'm more used to, and I'm sure there are many others who can agree to this. It would be better for this to be fixed, because I would love to listen to the sound effects and music game without it being muffled by voice chat, alas where the headset comes in. If it's possible to fix this, please do so. I would really appreciate it, thank you. If there are any other solutions to this issue, please let me know, because I don't know what to do at this point. Thank you! -
As stated in the title, I am unable to morph as Jason or talk in-game as both Jason and Counselor. (Description of both bugs): -Jasons Morph: I pull up the map to morph just fine, however there is no "red dot" I can move around. Once I try to morph, it places me in the same spot, regardless if I attempt to "move the red dot" as if it was there. -No ingame voice: I simply cant talk. I can hear other players, but I cant say anything. Note: I also dont see names displayed above heads, idk if this is related, but of all the reports Ive read of people not being able to speak; this is also present. This happens regardless of the map I play on or the Jason/Counselor I use. I have been only playing private matches with friends and havent gotten a chance to play Jason in matchmaking, so I cant confirm if this is only isolated to Private Matches. I have not been able to correct this issue, but after doing a little research, I have noticed a common trend for people with this bug: -It happens to people using XB1 Elite Controllers -The issue occurs if they are using a wireless controller Now I do own and use an Elite Controller, but I dont own a normal controller with a 3.5mm port for my headset (meaning I cant confirm if my in-game voice works) but I can say the normal controller fixes my morph ability. Other things Ive tried to resolve issue but did not work: -Leave game and join new lobby -Hard Reset Console -Factory Reset Console -Opted out of the Dashboard preview program (I had a friend that did this when they couldnt speak, and I guess it worked so I figured I would try) -Using different account. -Unistalling/Reinstalling game. Please fix this issue , or give me some way to work around, I love the game but this REALLY sucks the fun right out of it I am playing on Xbox One and my gamertag is Original Wyatt

Hello! So i bought this Game 2 Weeks ago and i do really like the Concept and the Gameplay of it. However, my Ingame Voice Chat doesn't seem to work proberly. Players ingame are talking but i can't hear them. However they can hear me when i Talk. I can hear Players in 1 out of 10 Games(yes, i can hear them kinda randomly). My Mic is 100% working (its working on other games with ingame Voice Chat tho, tested it) and all my ingame sound settings are 100% volume. i'm not the only one with this problem, few of my friends who are also playing F13 have the same Issue like me. I have the latest Drivers on my PC installed. (i dont think its a problem on my Side tho) Any Suggestions to this issue? maybe a potencial fix? are the devs informed about this Issue yet?

I've been able to hear friends from time to time and they can hear me sometimes. It just started today. It's not my xbox settings. It just happened when I joined a lobby. I'm on xbox one

I'm glad that I can mute in the lobby, but why can't I do it in-game? Listening to the screechy voice 12-year old that backstabbed you for 20 mins isn't very fun.
