  2. How To Make Jason Scary In F13 The Game Friday The 13th The Game is one of the most fun yet least scary "Horror" games I've ever played. The main reason why it isn't scary is the way counselors treat Jason. The most recent update was a very good start to making Jason scary. Taking away a lot of pocket knives and removing a lot of weapons was a very smart choice. And the slight speed increase does make Jason more fearful. But this fear won't last long. Soon I'll start seeing players team up beat the crap out of Jason and tea bag him which really ruins the experience. I'm gonna go over many reason on how to make Jason scary. And I'm gonna go over one major idea that'll really make Jason so much scarier. Note that I'm gonna be giving a lot of buffs to Jason but I will be giving buffs to the counselors at the end to balance it out. Fixing Tea bagging: Okay so the first thing that you wanna do is get rid of tea bagging. Every time I see Jason get knocked out I don't wanna see a counselor go over his face and start tea bagging him. It's really not scary anymore after you see that. Grabbing counselors while on the ground would be great but pretty hard to animate IMO. The idea I came up with is make Crouching an ability for counselors. Similar to Jason, in one of the corners in the screen there will be a diamond shaped icon with a crouch logo in it. Every time you get up from a crouch you can't crouch again for 5 to 8 seconds. (I would choose 8 seconds). This will make it so that counselors won't be able to tea bag which will definitely improve the scariness of the game. Fixing Combat: To fix groups of people beating Jason's ass, I got you covered. Make it so that once your are in Fear Mode you can't attack anymore. This makes sense and would make counselors much more worried about fear because no one really cares about it. So when counselors are in groups attacking Jason most of the won't be able to because they'll probably be in Fear Mode. It would also make counselors like Jenny more useful since she doesn't get Fear easy. Buffing Rage: When Jason is in Rage Mode every counselor should shit their pants... but they don't. I've got a few ideas to make Rage much more fearful. Note that some of this stuff may sound OP but remember, I'm gonna give counselors a few buffs at the end of this. When Jason is in Rage mode he must feel unstoppable. First, make it so that Jason ignores pocket knives while in Rage Mode. So when Jason grabs counselors while in Rage Mode they wont be able to use their pocket knives. Second, make it so that Jason is EVEN harder to stun while in Rage Mode. While in Rage Mode he should be 25% harder to knockout. Third, when the cops arrive make it so that Jason goes into Rage Mode instantly. This would fix the problem where counselors like to mess with Jason at the exit before escaping. If Jason ignores pocket knives and is 40% harder to knockout while in Rage Mode then counselors wont hesitate escaping. Adding Back Jason's Beta Animations: One of the MANY things that needs to be added back from the Beta is Jason's animations that were left out of the Final Release. (Counselors Beta animations need to be added back too). Right now in the game Jason looks like a robot. there's no startup animation to anything! You need to bring these back! These animations made Jason look and feel so much more real and menacing. Especially the running Jasons. I have some examples down below. Music: In my opinion, this is the biggest reason why people aren't afraid of Jason in your game. (This is the Major idea I was talking about earlier). When your playing as Jason you can't Jump Scare people because counselors constantly know if your around or not because Jason's music will play. The only way to Jump Scare people is to use Stalk... but Stalk straight up lasts 15 seconds m8. So... make it so that counselors CANNOT hear Jason's music even while he's around them unless you or some other counselor nearby sees him. (If you wan't to make it a little more fair, make it so that counselors can also hear Jason's music if he is within 10 feet near them). This is game changing I know but it would make the game SO much scarier. Counselors would constantly be watching their back and Jason could play much stealthier like he is in the movies. You would have to make Jason's footsteps much louder to make it so that counselors could react fast enough. And make it so that Stalk makes Jason music and footsteps not heard at all even when seen or within 10 feet of counselors. This is probably the biggest thing that will make Jason scary in Friday The 13th The Game. Balancing It All Out: Alright time to balance every thing out so Jason isn't insanely OP. I'm gonna go over Nerfs for Jason and Buffs for counselors. Make it so that every Jason has less Traps. With all these things I gave Jason in his favor he shouldn't have to rely on Traps to kill everyone. Normal Amount of Traps = 3 - Amount of Traps = 2 + Amount of of Traps = 4 Make it a bit easier for counselors to break out of Jason's grab. When Jason is stunned make it so that he is stunned for much longer. Make it so that Jason's Mask gets knocked off much easier so killing Jason becomes more of a Escape Option instead of a Rare Occurrence. (As a matter of fact, you should make Killing Jason show up in the Escape Menu showing you how to do it). Make Throwing Knives do a bit less damage. Make going through Broken Windows do a bit less damage. Make going through Windows a bit faster. Thanks for reading this. And please, fill free to comment your thoughts and suggestions. I would love to hear your guy's feedback on this. - Deku Scrub
  3. What Should Be Graphically Improved @Gertz @[IllFonic]Courier @wes @ShiftySamurai @GunMedia_Ben UPDATE: Added a New Intro Video for comparison. FUTURE UPDATE: Adding more Jason animation GIFS and adding Counselor animation GIFS. I am happy to say that Friday The 13th The Game will be getting upgraded to the latest version of the Unreal Engine. This means a lot for the game, such as... - Potential for physics improvements and fixes for vehicles, ragdolls, hair, and more - Better performance on all platforms - Required support for Dedicated Servers on Xbox One and Playstation 4 - Fixes for long standing issues that will automatically be resolved by moving to the new engine version (Keep in mind that they will have more specifics closer to release) When asked about "Will this update improve the game graphically" ShiftySamurai said, "We'll have more info on the update throughout the process." "We cannot give answers for specific questions right now." While he didn't say yes yet, I'm sure that the game will most definitely get a bit of a graphical improvement from the April Update. Here's a couple things that I would like graphically improved or things brought back from older builds. Note they haven't said anything on the graphics improving so this could be a complete waste of time. 1. Making the game look ATLEAST half as good as the Beta (Atleast on PC) Okay lets be real here, the game will never look as good as the Pre-Aplha . The Pre-Alpha would be way too hard on consoles AND most PC's. But I think since the engine is getting an upgrade we could get a similar if not an exact look from the Beta. Personally I thought the Beta was gorgeous. There were so many more trees, bushes, and grass was everywhere! The sky looked great and the clouds stood out SO MUCH! The lighting was absolutely phenomenal. Plus there were so many little details like when the car was driving there was dust coming from the wheels. Anyway... I hope we can get the game to look atleast as half as good as the Beta. If you can't make it happen on all platforms then atleast do it for the PC players. I don't even own a gaming PC. I play on Xbox One but I atleast want one platform to have a gorgeous version of the game that looks like the Beta. 2. Bring Back HD Character Models From The Original Virtual Cabin (Jason And Counselors) The character models in this game a very good. Every counselors looks and feels very unique so good job on that F13 Devs. However if the April Update is going to affect the game graphically I feel like we can get them to look closer to the original Virtual Cabin models. - Look At The Shirt, The Hair, The EVERYTHING! - Tommy Looks So Much More Badass And His Hair Didn't Glow! - Look At How Much Better Jenny's Outfit Is In The Original Virtual Cabin! - The White Collar Is Way Better! And The Stripes Look So Good! Those Eyes And Lips Too! Everyone looks so much better in the original Virtual Cabin! Their skin, their eyes and eyebrows, their lips, and ESPECIALLY their hair and clothes looked absolutely stunning! Please Devs, you gotta give us these HD counselors back. Yes I know, These images are in 4K. but if you look at videos of the original Virtual Cabin then you know that the models looked way better even without 4K. Even The Jason's looked way better. Especially Part 6 Jason. - The More Subtle / Lighter Colors On Part 2 Jason Looks Way Better! - I Like The Lighter Colors On This Jason. It would Separate Him More From Part 4 Jason. - This Is Straight Up Photo Realistic! Absolutely Amazing! Part 6 Jason has the biggest difference from the Virtual Cabin to the Final Release. He looks incredible! The mask shape looks just like the movie unlike the mask he has in the Final Release. He's also normal sized. His shoulders and traps look normal and he was leaner just like CJ Graham. I cant get over how good the shape of the mask looks. The Final Release Part 6 Mask looks like crap but the Virtual Cabin 1.0 Mask looks insane. The color and weathering is still off though, Please Devs, bring back the Virtual Cabin 1.0 Part 6 Jason Model. It looks so much better. We need these gorgeous HD models back in the game Devs. Please make it happen guys. 3. Bring Back The HD Hair From The Original Virtual Cabin You wanna know what most of the hair looks like to me in Friday The 13th The Game. You don't? Well I tell you anyway. It straight up looks like most counselors took the end of the mop, smeared it in dog shit, left it out in the sun for 5 days, and then used that as a wig... especially on Adam. (No Offense Devs) - Straight Up Looks Like A Mop But in the original Virtual Cabin the hair looked SO GOOD! - Just Look At How Good It Looks! Please Devs, Bring This Hair Back. - AJ Had Way More Highlights In Her Hair! - Jenny Had Much Darker Hair In The Original Virtual Cabin. It Looks So Good It's Crazy! It looked very natural and soft and... like hair. I really hate the way the hair looks in the game right now and I hope they'll go back to these. They said that the hair would be fixed in the April Update. I don't know if they mean that they're fixing it to look like the original Virtual Cabin hair or if they're fixing all the hair glitches in the game. Hopefully both. 4. Bring Back Beta Animations (Jason And Counselors) I know, I know, I've said this a thousand different times... BUT C'MON! These are so sexy it's unreal! We gotta have these back. I know they're such a small detail but they make Jason and Counselors look and feel so much more real! I didn't include the counselor beta animations below because... I'm too lazy. We gotta have these back Devs. With this new engine I'm sure you can add these back into the game ATLEAST on PC. Make it happen guys. It you would like to see the Beta Animations in a actual match, then click the links below. The Part 3 Jason video is a MUST WATCH! Part 7 Jason Beta Gameplay: https://youtu.be/qpIhC4eqWZE Part 3 Jason Beta gameplay: https://youtu.be/EakKqy5ArPk (MUST WATCH) 5. Fix Neck Seams And Glitches On Character Models If you look closely when selecting a counselor you can see the following on some of them: - Neck Seams - White Dots around the chin / jaw area - Jenny's Neck has a line around it There are many more but I don't wanna go in depth into it because I'm positive these will be fixed in the April Update. 6. Bring Back And Add New HD Intros And Outros I don't know why or how the super amazing HD intros and outros that we had at the launch of the game are now gone. Like seriously, one of the only things that looked better than the Beta... is now gone. But If you're going to add back the old HD Intros and Outros you'll have to add new ones for the New Maps and Small Maps. If you haven't seen the original HD intros here's a video. Intros We Had Before: Intros We Have Now: 7. Bring Back Original Tommy Calling Animation And Original Tommy Cutscene The calling Tommy animation in the game right now is laughable. Counselor's hands aren't even in the right spot half the time. But the reveal trailer for Tommy showed a much more dramatic and realistic animation to call Tommy. And The Tommy Intro cutscene was way more badass. Here's the video. I'm sure everyone would love to see that calling Tommy animation back. 8. Bring Back Original Gun Holding Animation As you saw in the trailer, Tommy actually was holding the gun instead having it float on his back. This gun holding animation looks way better and makes more sense if the gun is on my back then I should be able to pick up other items. This detail is really cool but it's not much of a big deal. I'm sure a lot of us would love to see it back though F13 Devs. And F13 Devs, I'm not trying to be harsh. I love Friday the 13th The Game. It's one of the most fun online games I've ever played. I just wanna see a stunning Friday The 13th Game. We had that game in the Beta but due to consoles and many other reasons, the animations and graphics took a huge hit. But with this new engine I have hope that we can get that beautiful game again. Thank you guys for listening to feedback. Thanks for reading this. And please, fill free to comment your thoughts and suggestions. I would love to hear your guy's feedback on this. - Deku Scrub
  4. DISCLAIMER: I do not own Friday the 13th, Friday the 13th: The Game or Jason X. All those properties belong to Sean S. Cunningham, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brother Pictures, New Line Cinema, and created by Victor Miller. Friday the 13th: The Game belongs to Gun Media & Illfonix. Please support the official release. Authors Note: This story ignores the events of Jason X. I had difficulty deciding if I wanted to ignore the events of The Final Friday part IX: Jason Goes To Hell. Then I saw Savini Jason and decided to keep it canon. Jason X isn't even a Friday the 13th movie. Also, Friday the 13th Part IV was titled "The Final Chapter" as part IX is titled "The Final Friday: Jason Goes to Hell" 6/12/18 ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ Monday, July 9th, 2018 ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ In the Wessex County Medical Center, near the town of Crystal Lake, New Jersey, a woman in her mid 50's awoke from a nightmare. Lightning crashed as a heavy storm moved in on the town. A cold sweat washed over her as she let out a short scream and the nurse on duty entered her room. "Chris, Ms. Higgins, are you okay?" Inquired the nurse. "I had another nightmare, Cathy. It was the same one. The one of the man in black digging up from the ground and attacking me." The sweat rolled down Chris' neck. "I'll get you a sedative." Said Nurse Cathy before she shut the door. Her hand reached out and grabbed a water container then poured a small cup for herself. Chris sat in her hospital room and thought to herself, it has been almost 34 years since her nightmare at Crystal Lake in the Higgins Haven area. The area was named after her family as they're one of the first families to live in the town of Crystal Lake. The nurse returned a few minutes later and gave her a pill to help her with her sleep. Off and on for years, Chris returned to the Wessex Medical Center for treatment to deal with her Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and nightmares. One day Chris hoped that she would no longer need the assistance of medicine to sleep or see a psychiatrist. Meanwhile, near a treeline by the Medical Center, the ground began to erode and bubble. The ground turned black at a fast pace then cracked open with a blackened hand reached out. Steam raised from the ground. Hellish screams filled the air as the figure pulled itself up. The figure is of a large man almost six and a half feet tall, built like a like a professional weightlifter and completely covered in dirt and mud. He looked to the Wessex Medical Center and walked slowly toward it. Meanwhile, Chris Higgins rolled in her bed. The memories that happened at Higgins Haven at Crystal Lake's north side rushed back to her. The meeting a deformed man in 1982 that would later come to Higgins Haven and murdered over forty-three people, including twelve in Higgins Haven alone, all over the course of one week from Thursday, July 12, 1984, until Wednesday, July 18, 1984. The thoughts of Jason crushing her boyfriend's Rick's skull and throwing his corpse through a window woke her up. With a cold sweat and panicked breath, Chris called for the nurse again. "Nurse, it didn't work. I need another sedative." Chris said into her IMATIS system. With her legs thrown over the edge of the bed, Chris wiped the sweat off her with a light blanket. It was 2:37 AM, it's been several minutes and the nurse didn't respond. Once more, Chris called for the nurse, however as she called the nurse, the power died. Panicked, she screamed as the emergency power kicked on. With a feeling of dread, Chris stuck her head out the door and saw nothing but the Nurse's Station. "Nurse? Cathy? Anyone here? Did you all fall asleep or go to the bathroom?" Chris walked towards the station. Nurse Cathy was slumped over, hand under her head. Chris walked over and shook her. "Cathy, are you okay? You can't be asle-" Chris pulled on her shoulder and gasped loudly as Nurse Cathy's face has a deep slash, almost two inches deep. Her screams echoed down the hall and Chris ran for her life. As fast as her feet could carry her, Chris ran to the Fire Escape and hurried down. At the bottom of the stairway, the door to freedom laid in front of Chris. As she reached the door, it swung open violently. "No! You're not alive! You're not alive! YOU'RE NOT ALIVE!" Chris' voice broke down as she burst into tears, fear took over and caused her to slowly back into the corner of the stairwell. The man now stood at the door. One hand holding a trident and the other hand pulled out a panga machete and slowly walked to the hysterical woman. Defeated, Chris's legs slowly gave out on her as she collapsed in a corner. Tears ran down Chris's cheek as the man walked closer and lifted the machete up. "You're dead, Jason Voorhees! I put an ax in your head! You're not here! You're not alive! You're-" Chris's words are cut off as Jason sliced through her neck. The machete dragged slowly across her throat, from hilt to tip. Jason's strength shoved the cruelly sharpened edge three inches deep in her neck. Blood gushed out of her throat at all sides. Having accepted her fate, Chris choked and the light faded from her eyes as she stared at Jason Voorhees, the killer at Crystal Lake, stand before her. Jason Voorhees, the boy who drowned in Crystal Lake in 1957 stood there, alive... partially. Without a word or grunt, Jason turned around and left as lights are restored. FRIDAY THE 13TH PART X: THE HOMECOMING GAME Chapter One ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ Tuesday, July 10th, 2018 ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ A fast car that carried six young adults, between twenty and twenty-four are packed in a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander drive along Millbrook road in Crystal Lake, New Jersey. Two young men sat up front, the driver a cranks up the audio as "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour played loudly. With a look that matched a 1950's biker than anyone from the 21st century, the man rocked out hard and headbanged while driving. With a quick peek, he turned to his companions; a heavyset man with who looked like he's ready to golf, rocker girl with purple streaks in her hair and next to her an east Asian young woman who's busy in a book. "Adam, can you turn that down!" The heavyset man shouted over the radio. The driver now known as Adam turned the radio down a little. "Sorry Eric, I love that song. Didn't mean to blow your ears. A.J., Debbie, how are you two holding up?" The rocker girl turns to Adam. "I'm fine, Debbie's busy with her book. Good luck reaching her, I don't think your music did." "What's she reading?" Asked Eric as he couldn't get see well enough. With a quick dip of her head, AJ read the book title then looked to Eric and Adam. "The Sons of the Dragon by-" "George R.R. Martin. Good book, I've read it." Interrupted Eric, a smile on his face as they have similar taste books from his assumption. "I have no idea where that's from." Added Adam as his look returned to the road, which allowed him to turn down the road they needed. AJ sighed loudly, her gaze returned to out the window as they're driving in a forest. Eric looked back at her, then Debbie and finally to Adam, with a smile and a wink towards his friend. With the music turned down, Eric started reaching through a backpack he brought. All the credentials they'd need for where they're going. "Thanks for the summer job, Adam. I know I'm missing Gen Con 2018, but I could use the few extra bucks." Eric fixed his glasses as he searched for some manuals they were given to read. "No problem, J.R. Thought you guys would want a little extra work. We won't be the only counselors there, Brandon Wilson, Jenny Myers, Vanessa Jones, and Tiffany Cox from high school will be there. You guys remember ol' "Eagle Scout" Kenny Riedell?" Adam checked the mirror to see both Deb and AJ look up. For a brief moment, Debbie smiled at Kenny's name, which caught both Adam and AJ's attention but once more, it was AJ who did the talk. "Yeah, I remember him why?" "Make sure you thank him. I was working on his car in late May and he told me he got promoted to Head Counselor at Camp Crystal Lake, I mentioned a few of us are looking for summer jobs and he needed new counselors as a number of them went back to school or something." With that, Adam turned down a road. The large gate had a large sign that read "WELCOME TO CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE, EST. 1935." Most of the road had been cleared up of foliage. It didn't take long for Adam to find the counselors cabin as well as several cabins for the children. Seeing the car, a bit of a rugged young man in flannel and blue jean shorts flagged them down and pointed them down a road, which Adam followed. After a bit of a drive, Adam parked at a garage, which allowed the four to get out. Eric is the first one to make a scene as he puts a foot on the front bumper. With his chest out and fists on his hips, Eric shouted. "Fear not ladies! I, Eric "J.R." LaChappa will defend you from Geists, Goblins, and Were-Wolves. But not wear bears, you're on your own there." With a minorly worried look in his face, Adam turned to Eric. "What about me?" "I said ladies didn't I?" Countered Eric. "Ah, touche!" Adam took the keys, locked his car as they see the flannel man again and shouted at him. "Hey, Kenny!" "Adam, glad you made it! Dead last, but you're here!" The Head Counselor Kenny walked over and shook hands with everyone, which included Debbie who had found her way out of her book. Kenny went into the workshop, checked a desk and found some packets that he's made for each of them. "Adam, mind introducing me to the others as I had out their packets on rules and what I expect from them in each their predesignated areas." As Adam named them, Kenny handed each of them the packet. "Tons of Fun over here is Eric LaChappa. The young lady with glasses is Deborah Kim and my girlfriend-" "EX-Girlfriend." Interrupted a peeved AJ. "My Ex-Girlfriend, just call her AJ Mason." Said an irked Adam. With a quick look at his packet for AJ, Kenny raised an eyebrow. "But her name is-" "Can you PLEASE call me AJ?" Once more, AJ interjected. "Alright, AJ. You win, follow me, we're going to go to head counselor's shack to meet up with the others before we go swing by Packanack Lodge for some chow." With that, Kenny grabbed a lantern and walked out. "Better safe than sorry." At the counselors' shack, three other counselors sat around. A young black man is tossing a tennis ball to a young black woman, both are clearly dressed for athletics throw the ball across the room. Nearby, a young brunette woman with her lucky red and yellow striped shirt was reading her packet, received the ball as it thrown by the black man. "Sorry about that, Jenny. Toss it back?" Without a look or a care, Jenny tossed the ball back towards the voice. "I'm almost done, Brandon. Can't you and Vanessa take that outside? And where's Tiffany?" A door is pushed open, Tiffany was clearly overjoyed as she threw a hand up. "Here! I just had to change into something more comfortable." "So you went with booty shorts and a shirt that's too big for you?" Questioned Vanessa as she caught the ball one last time from Brandon and sat it down. "Yeah, I think I'm dressed better." Tiffany laid out on a bed. Brandon thought to himself a moment, then realized what's different. "Instead of a grey shirt, you went with a pink one?" As Tiffany was about to speak, the opposite door opened up with Kenny, Adam, Eric, AJ, and Deborah behind them. Seeing that his counselors are in one place, Kenny started to hand out packets to the others. Each of them takes a few minutes to read them. Some questioned why they got the job they do, others do not. "Okay, I'm Kenny Reidell, I'm the new head counselor of Camp Crystal Lake. We just finished a late renovation and starting this Monday, the 16th and we'll all be here I know a few of you already. But let's introduce ourselves, we'll start with you." Kenny pointed towards Adam. Adam leaned against the wall after he set his papers down. "I'm Adam Palomino, according to this packet I'll be the shop counselor. I've also known Kenny, Buggzy, J.R., AJ, and Deborah since high school." "Guess I'll go next." Brandon stood up before everyone and turned to see all of the others. "I'm Brandon Wilson, but you can call me Buggzy, on the account I was the fastest wide receiver in high school football. They said I run like I got bugs in my pants, so the name stuck since pee wee. I'll be the head coach for sports and swimming." "You can call me AJ Mason, or AJ for short. Adam and I were in a relationship, but now we're not. He did help me get this job, and I do thank him for that. Kenny assigned me to Arts and Crafts." "I AM... ERIC, J.R., LACHAPPA!" Shouted Eric as he stood up on a footlocker for all to see. "I've been buddies with Adam since fifth grade when I fell on him climbing up a rope in gym. And Kenny has me teaching... sports and swimming? Are you serious?" A few of them chuckled between Eric's showmanship and his unexpected assignment, however, Jenny stepped up. "I'm Jennifer Myers, but you can call me Jenny. I'm Kenny's partner, and I met him at a bad time in his life during high school. He has me in charge of Games and Activities." "I'm also in Games and Activites. I'm Vanessa Jones, Brandon's my 3rd cousin. We're actually trying to get into the same college. This my first time meeting anyone here that's not family." Vanessa said as she sat down. With a loud yawn, Tiffany blew in a harmonica after she laid out on a bed. "Hey! I'm Tiffany Cox, I heard about Camp Crystal Lake's reopening and the Christies hired me and I've known Kenny all over three hours longer than anyone else. I'm going be in the music activities." Upon closer inspection, Kenny noticed something wrong. "Wait, we're short a few counselors. Where is-" A door was pushed open as a blonde woman, pretty brown-haired man and a bearded man walk in. The bearded man is clearly high as a kite, he huffed and puffed as he stumbled to a wall and caught his breath. AJ, Debbie, and Eric fan the smell of marijuana away from their faces. On the other hand, Adam, Vanessa, and Buggzy take a deep breath. Deborah takes a look at the one girl and is visibly frightened. Luckily for her, AJ noticed this and stood up, she and the blonde were shooting daggers at each other. "Care to explain this, Mitch?" Asked Kenny, clearly, he's not impressed and he's not in the mood for excuses. "Whoa, sorry about that, Kenny. Chad and I picked up Victoria from town, her car's tire somehow got glass caught and it shredded it all to Hell, man." Mitch, the bearded hippie, walked over and showed pictures on his cellphone. "My apologies, Victoria. Mitch, I know you have a prescription for that, but tell me you're NOT planning on doing that around the children. I'll have to fire you on the spot." "Naw man, I'm good. I found a place I can go, do my medicinal, walk back and not smell like a Bob Marley Concert. Oh, we're introducing ourselves? I'm Mitch Floyd, I'm 48 years old, so I'm clearly the oldest one here. I'm got Arts & Crafts covered with someone named "Mason" and I knew one of the last owners, Steve Christy, when he bought this place back in 1979, a great year by the way. I smoke medical marijuana to help with my seizures." Mitch's speaking slowed down with as he calmed down, the gave everyone a big cheesy smile. "Good show, Mitch." Said Chad with a snooty and stuck up voice as he pulls out a pipe and lights up. "I'm Chad Kensington, I've known that rogue Adam Palomino since freshman year in high school, the rest of them I don't care about but know. I graduated with a 4.0-grade average and already have my college taken care. I'm here because my father and mummy dearest wish me to do something for the summer." AJ and Victoria stopped their malicious glaring long enough for Victoria to speak. "I'm Victoria Sterling, my dearest Chad Kensington and I are engaged to be wed in three years time. I don't honestly care to know any of you. Chaddy told me this would good for us, so I'm here. I know AJ and Deborah, VERY WELL. I and Chaddy will be cooking for ALL of us." The two glared at each other again but Kenny stepped in between them. "I don't care what happened between any of you. I will NOT have any of you fighting around Crystal Lake. If you do, I will make sure neither of you gets paid and I will fire you on the spot. AM. I. UNDERSTOOD?!" The two of them, having been put in their place, agree with Kenny. Both AJ and Deborah took a deep breath as AJ turned to Deborah which in turn caused Debbie to stand up. The two talk a moment before Deborah walked in the center of the room. Most everyone could see how nervous and shy she was, to her, this moment was going to be the hardest moment as Deborah found kids easier to talk to than adults. Despite Chad and Victoria's dirty looks, Deborah finally looked up from the ground. "I'm Deborah Kim... I'm Korean and Filipino. I've been best friends with AJ since preschool. I'll be with Tiffany teaching music." Both her hands played with her hair nervously, Deborah fumbled around the entire time she talked but as soon as she finished the short speech, her gaze returned downwards then towards AJ. "Good, now that I'm understood and we know each other a little; I'm sure you want to get settled in your cabins as well as get lunch. I'll show you guys the path to Packanack Lodge, that's where you'll be staying, I'll be staying out here on Cunningham Road as I'll be closer to the kids, each night I'll have a second counselor with me to help watch over the camp and children." With that, Kenny walked over and gave everyone walkie-talkies and showed them out. Before she left the house, AJ took a moment to shut the windows and lock the back door. Once everything was secure, AJ looked out a window towards the lake then towards the forest. The sight is beautiful, AJ saw why people kept returning here year after year. Despite being her first year at Camp Crystal Lake; AJ saw this as a job she'd like to stick with a few years. Before AJ walked out, she looked once more at the forest. For the briefest moment; she swore she saw a man in black and read stand in place and stare at her. AJ wiped her eyes again and looked out. This time, there was no man, it all had to be her imagination or an animal. Once the door was locked, AJ ran after the others to catch up. What she didn't know, there was a tall man in black that watched over them. Silent as death; the man watched over the counselors from a distance but he left and retreated to the woods. The base of a large black metal trident dragged behind Jason Voorhees, the man who watched the counselors at Camp Crystal Lake. The long track home didn't bother Jason as he remembered how to get home, no matter where he was at Crystal Lake. It took two hours but Jason found his way back to the run-down shack he built years ago. Vegetation had grown over most of the structure but luck would have it; his trophies remained. The long decayed corpses of Alice Hardy, last seen in 1979 along with remains of Terry McCarthy, Paul Holt, and Deputy Winslow from 1984. In the center of the shack's second room, was the shrine to Pamela Voorhees, his mother. All four remains laid at the floor beneath her sweater, pants, and skull. Red flames shot up from Jasons' right arm, upper right peck, and upper back right shoulder. The black chains around his neck hit the ground as hard as Jason when laid on the ground to rest. ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ At Sunset ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ ~ * O * ~ Near the Pinehurst area of Crystal Lake, the only man to kill Jason Voorhees and live to tell the tale, Tommy Jarvis; was cutting wood with his 11-year-old son. Each time Tommy split a log, his son placed another for him to cut. From a nearby window, Tommy's wife watched her boys as she washed dishes. "Allen, we got enough firewood for tonight. Help me out here." Tommy leaned down and gave several pieces of wood to his son. Both men with arms full of wood, the older Jarvis carried the most, walked in and sat their lumber near a fireplace. The two adults talked a few minutes before a concerned look crossed Tommy. In turn, he headed up to the second floor. Not too long after, Allen followed his father up and went to the den. His father sat in a chair and read a newspaper article about a young woman and nurse who murdered at Wessex Medical Center. "Dad, what are you reading? Can we talk?" Asked Allen as he walked over and read part of the article with Tommy. "A newspaper article, your mom found one and I thought I would be interested in it. Yes, we can talk." Said, Tommy, as he put the newspaper down and covered the article. "Mom told me that you two met when she was working at Camp Crystal Lake They've been open for 3 years and nothing bad has happened. Are you ever going to tell me about what happened at Crystal Lake?" Allen looked into his fathers' eyes, they shared the same eyes and skin tone but Allen definitely took more after his mom's personality and hair. It's been almost 30 years since Tommy talked about the events at Crystal Lake. The event with his mother's death or at Pinehurst Youth Development Center and all of the surrounding areas. The older Jarvis looked at his son with one of pain and of unease. Tommy placed his hand on his son's shoulder and came down to his level. "Not yet, Allen, that's not a story I feel comfortable sharing with you now. When you're older and I know you can handle it, I'll tell you EVERYTHING about Crystal Lake and why I won't go anywhere near that damn place. Neither will you or your mom. Okay?" The look that his father gave him along with his cryptic words made Allen wonder more. "I rather know now. I know I can handle it, dad." The look in Tommy's face got very serious. "Not now, Allen. If I told you now, I know you'd want to leave." TO BE CONTINUED... 5. Please modify the offline mode so you can be any Jason, besides the special ones that people paid for, with any unlockables. Especially since the new news came out saying content is stoping. Its sad to say but this will be the start of the player population decline. Without new content people will be moving on and not coming back as often. I want to be able to come back to this game and destroy with any Jason I want. The bots may not be that challenging but I love that they are there. This game will always be able to be played and I don’t want to lose my account one day and only be able to be part 3 Jason forever. Please please devs this is a simple change and makes sense. The online will be the same and you unlock them but there’s no reason people shouldn’t be able to have fun offline and expirement.
  6. Just as the title says can you be put in the salt mines via private match? If the host/jason/counseler quits in a private match do they get affected or is it just a public match? Please clarify!
  7. Adding Back Beta Animations The beta of Friday The 13th The Game looked really good. Much more trees and bushes. Characters looked better. Houses and lighting were much better as well. I don't know the reason why the beta looked so good and the release looked pretty bad and I'm hoping one day the game will look as good as the beta. But the thing that makes me really mad is why some of the animations from the beta are gone. Especially the Jason ones. Here take a look down below: Look at how good these look! These look so amazing! I don't understand why these aren't in the final release. They said they are trying to make Jason Scarier. If they add these animations back from the beta Jason would look and feel so much scarier. They make Jason feel more alive and relentless. Especially that last clip of Part 3 Jason. Imagine you saw him running at you like that after trying to break down a door. Don't lie, that would be so much scarier. I know we can get this back in the game guys. If enough people ask for it back then we'll get it. Thanks for reading this. And please, fill free to comment your thoughts and suggestions. I would love to hear your guy's feedback on this. - Deku Scrub BTW if you can't add these back because of consoles then just add them back to PC. I don't even play on PC but i still would like one version of the game to at least have it.
  8. Well there's not much to know about me besides the fact that I'm a big fan of horror. On Steam, you can usually find me on F13 more than Dead by Daylight or others. Also play Sea of Thieves a lot. People describe me as crazy and strange. And Jarvis House is the best map, I don't care what anyone says. Hahaha. I'm filled with sass as well but I love to use it for jokes. I like to livestream on Twitch from time to time. And cosplaying is something I enjoy doing. In real life, I'm the Harley Quinn of the group, since I can do her voice spot on. Hahaha. Also, to be honest, I suck at these so if you want to know anything, just ask and I'll answer. lol (Picture ain't mine.)
  9. This thread was created to have a fun discussion related to the game, what you like/dislike about it, and the ever changing of the landscape of these forums over the past couple of months. This is a thread not beholding to just one topic. So no need for anyone to pop in, not like the direction and lock it for whatever reason. This is just a place to air grievances agree/disagree etc. Just remain civil as best as possible and enjoy the conversation(s). Personally dislike the way things have been heading for a bit, but like many members of this community and love the franchise itself, hence why my ass is still lurking around. My biggest complaint about game is bugs/no dedicated servers. And only complaint here is, it seems that if you don't tow a certain line, or whatever, some folks will pop in, and just lock a topic they don't like in a general discussion forum, which is a pretty broad umbrella term. Just seems abused by some, definitely not all. Anyways end rant, let us joke, converse, agree/disagree just be as civil as possible.
  10. HELLO PEOPLE WANTED TO EXHIBIT IDEAS TO THE GAME TO IMPROVE, AS AN EXAMPLE, GANZUAS FOR CLOSED DOORS AND CEPOSES, AND THERE FEW POCKET KNIVES also a perk to have a perk more or also one that is a backpack and can store more objects. You can escape on an individual motorbike for the sow that escapes only from arms a hockey stick. A map invented in a ski slope with motorcycles Snow to escape by the police for a snowshoe. Settle to be in combat mode and have a camper nearby and attack the comrade instead of Jason
  11. Hi everyone, I'm new here and since searching for a solution here didn't help i thought i open up a new topic. while i found two threads that were marked "solved" for that issue they didn't really do anything for me. so here is what's going on: i play on PS4 and since i updated the game two weeks ago i wasn't able to play one match. i join a lobby, ready to play, it starts loading, i'm in the game walk around for 10-15 seconds and suddenly get the above Error message "Could not retrieve game connection details.". While other online games (Uncharted for example) work just fine i have only trouble with FT13th. Before the update i was able to play and had a ping of around 75-100 ms (that was in early january), now i get a ping of way over 200 ms and the only thing that changed between then and now is that i updated the game. i restarted the game, restarted the PS, disconnect and reconnected the router, checked if the router blocks any outgoing connections, everything is fine (like i said, i can get into the game, at least sometimes, and get kicked out. other games work just fine). i'm kind of frustrated since this game is the reason i bought PS plus for a year. so is the error connected to the very high ping? and if so, why is the ping that high suddenly (i don't have the fastest internet ever, but i got a solid 35 down and 10 up). i'm very thankful for every help i could get for the problem. kindest regards, Mathias Update: i connected the PS4 with a new Ethernet cable to the router, my pin went down on around 75-110 again, the problem still exists.
  12. So I'm new to this website but I've been a fan of the series for a long time and I love the game very much and I have an idea for a Pamela game mode and I would like to share it with you guys, maybe it could traction and maybe the devs will see it and like it! I'm not expecting anything and there's probably a few grammatically errors but here it goes! Pamela is a vengeful mother out for blood however she is human unlike our hockey masked zombie friend, Jason. Instead of brute force and supernatural powes Pamela will rely completely on stealth and instant kills on suspecting counselors however she can be killed in 1 hit as well. To compensate for all of this there is only a few weapons on the map, 3 baseball bat to stun and 1 machete to kill Pamela and the machete is hidden with Pamela's car. So now let's get into the specifics on how Pamela works. Before the match starts, in the customization menu you can select 1 of 3 weapons to start with, Hunting Knife, Machete or Axe. When the match starts Pamela in a random cabin in a closet. When in hiding places such as closets or under beds, Pamela can Morph to any hiding spot on the map, meaning she can get into cabins without being seen. When you exit your hiding place you have the Stalk effect on in other words means there isn't any music playing to warn counselors your near until you are spotted. Now let's say you're in a cabin with another counselor, when unseen a button prompt will appear over a counselor, when close enough you can press the button and Pamela with preform a stealth kill. Well now your probably thinking now, what's the counselors objectives, how do they escape? Well the counselors are aware they're in danger, the match starts with a cut scene of Chad finding a dead body in a closet before doing the famous Chad face before the camera pans to outside of the cabin of Pamela hiding then boom match starts. So the counselors are aware of Pamela's presence, now they need to repair they need to call the police by following these steps: - Find gas - Fill up main generator with gas - Find the 2 fuses - Repair the phone box - Call police - Counselor revives as officer - Wait for back up - Reach the exit ----------------------------------------------------- Pamela Weapons: - Hunting Knife - Axe - Machete Strengths: - Run - Climb through windows - Hide - Stealth Morph - Weapon Strength - Stealth kill - Always in stalk until spotted Weaknesses: - Can't Shift - Low HP - Low stun resistance - Can't Grab
  13. Devs, Can you bring back the Server Selection. Since the Auto Detection, I play with the same lobby everytime. not to mention the lobby in asia cant even fill 8 players.. So Please bring back the Region Server Selection on the PC. This ruined the game for us. And Im not having problem when playing with US Servers since my ping are just 120-150 tops. So please do something about this Devs. Thanks.
  14. All the kills in the game are so far great, aswell as brutal. However, I feel like there should be more. I have tons upon tons of ideas for kills, but can only list so many at once. Here's a list of some that I have thought up that If feel would be a good contribution for the game as possible dlc weapon kills. (With fun names I also came up with) Pt 3) 1. (Timber) Jason has a wood chopping axe right? So it would seem reasonable that he will chop the counselor down like a tree. Three fatal blows to the conselor's side with the axe, only to have it getting stuck in the abdomen. Jason pulls the axe backwards only to have the conselor slowly fall forward or backward like a chopped tree 2. (When Push Comes To Shove) Jason pushes the conselor back and slams the axe onto the ground [axe head up] and gut punches the conselor having them fall forward. The conselor uses their arms to prevent falling neck first into the axe, but Jason uses his boot to shove the conselor, neck first, into the axe head-decapitating them. Pt 2) 1. (Head Pull) Jason swings the pick upwards into the conselor's neck [ similar to part 8's chin strike- except it goes to the neck]. The conselor falls to their knees, and jason walks up behind them, grabs the pick [whom's handle is upward] , and slowly tries to pull the axe back with one hand, whilist the other is holding the conselor down, overall decapitation once jason gets the pick out by pulling it. Pt 6) 1. (Throw over) Jason quickly impales the conselor in the chest and lifts them up above his head. Jason gives a quick jolt up and down with the spear, causing the conselor to slide down. After a second or two, Jason moves the spear back to throw the conselor over his shoulder, just as he glances over to make sure the deed is done. 2.(Neck Snap) Jason smacks the conselor across their face using the blunt end of the spear, causing them to stumble back and spins them backwards. Jason goes behind them and puts the spear horizontal in front of their neck and pulls back towards himself. Pinned against Jason, the conselor struggles as they are choked by the long rod. After a while, Jason quickly moves the spear clockwise, snapping the conselor's neck to the side. It would be cool if some of these ideas would be implemented into the game. I will post more kills later on. . .
  15. Devs, can you remove the Auto Region Detection on PC? I'm from Asia and for your info, there's like only 2 lobbies every hour, and the problem here is that such lobby can't even reach 8 players at a time.. The worst part is, if there is only 1 lobby in asia and such lobby has only 3-4 players, its the only lobby i could join.. Since Im using a Fiber Optic Net, Joining to US servers has no problem and im only having 130-150 ping tops.. So Please remove this Auto Region Detection Region on PC.. It just ruined the game for us Asian Players.
  16. Just saw this pop up in my recomended youtube videos, lol that is kinda funny. Made by AlphaGamer, its an intro wich he made for his streams.
  17. Who thinks Part 6 through 9 maps will be added into the Single Player Challenge mode ?
  18. PapaEarl

    My favorite Jason (game version)

My favorite Jason is part 9 for these reasons. 1.He has a great morph regeneration speed 2.Also the morph takes a while for it to end 3.Looks badass
  19. Top 10 Counselors To Add In The Game @Gertz @[IllFonic]Courier @wes @ShiftySamurai @GunMedia_Ben UPDATE: Switched a couple counselors around. Gave more reasons on why these counselors should be added. Before you read the list I just want you to know these counselors are being added for 3 reasons: 1. Being Popular And Requested Often 2. Being Unique And Looking Unique And Looking Hot ;-) 3. Being Likely To Be Added Okay now that you understand the way I'm doing this, let's get started. Also I won't be including any Hero Characters. This is just a Counselor List. 10. Janessa - The Space Chick At the #10 spot I chose Janessa from Jason X. If were going to be getting Uber Jason and a Jason X Map then we need a Jason X Counselor. I don't think I've seen this character requested much so she fails on popularity but when it comes to uniqueness, she's pretty unique. She has a very snarky personality and well... Is a girl in space. Pretty unlikely to be added though because she's not requested much. Janessa would be the "Space Chick." EDIT: On The Ultimate Character Poll Janessa Is In The Top 5... So Maybe She Is Pretty Popular. Popularity - 1 Uniqueness - 10 Likely To Be Added - 3 Composure: 7 - Is Pretty Snarky Even When Jason Is Around Luck: 3 Repair: 9 - Is A Student In The Movie Speed: 5 Stamina: 2 Stealth: 7 Strength: 2 9. Jimmy - The Dead Fuck At the #9 spot I chose Jimmy from Friday The 13th Part 4 The Final Chapter. C'mon, You know you want this cringey bastard in the game. Everyone loves this guy as much as they love his dance moves. He's pretty popular but he's kinda just another counselor so he's not that unique. I'd say he has a okay chance of making it into the game. Jimmy would be the "Dead Fuck." Popularity - 7 Uniqueness - 2 Likely To Be Added - 5 Composure: 6 Luck: 1 Repair: 5 Speed: 9 - He's Pretty Quick With Them Dance Moves Stamina: 8 - Gotta Have A Bit Of Stamina To Dance Like That Stealth: 4 Strength: 2 8. Ralph - The Crazy Bastard At the #8 spot I chose Crazy Ralph from Friday The 13th Part 1 And 2. How could you not add in Crazy Ralph? This is a fan favorite and is pretty popular. This man is a crazy so... that's unique enough for me. But one problem, It's kinda hard for me imagining this old crazy guy running around repairing cars and teaming up with other counselors to fight Jason so I don't know if he'll be added to the game. This one's obvious but Ralph would be the "Crazy Bastard." Popularity - 7 Uniqueness - 7 Likely To Be Added - 3 Composure: 7 Luck: 3 Repair: 6 Speed: 2 Stamina: 6 - Has A Little Stamina Since He Rides A Bike Stealth: 10 - Sneaks Up On Counselors Quite A Bit... Strength: 1 7. Mark - The Wheel Chair Guy... Yeah, I Can't Think Of Creative Names At the #8 spot I chose Mark from Friday The 13th Part 2. This guy has been leaked multiple times and there is a 99.9% chance he's gonna make it into the game. There's even a leaked "Wheel Chair Kill" so if that doesn't convince you that he's coming to the game then... I don't know. This one's obvious too but Mark would be the "Wheel Chair Guy." Basically Confirmed Composure: 8 Luck: 2 Repair: 6 Speed: 1 - In A Wheel Chair So He Can't Be Fast Stamina: 7 - He Doesn't Lose Much Stamina Since He's In A Wheel Chair Stealth: 4 Strength: 7 6. Garris - The Sheriff At the #6 spot I chose Sheriff Garris from Friday The 13th Part 6 Jason Lives. This one may be a little biased. Sheriff Garris is one of my favorite characters in the franchise. He's funny as hell and a pretty awesome Dad. I know a bunch of people love this guy too so he's pretty popular. He's a Sheriff so he's pretty unique too. But personally, as much as I love this guy and as much as I want him in the game I don't know if we'll ever see him in the game. I'd say it's a 50/50 chance. Garris would be the "Sheriff" Popularity - 7 Uniqueness - 9 Likely To Be Added - 6 Composure: 10 - This Man 1 v 1's Jason To Protect His Daughter... Enough Said Luck: 1 Repair: 7 Speed: 2 Stamina: 2 Stealth: 6 Strength: 7 - He Tackles Jason To The Ground 5. Melissa - The Mean Girl At the #5 spot I chose Melissa from Friday The 13th Part 7 The New Blood. I see this one requested ALL THE TIME! Lucky for you guys that want her because her clothes were leaked so you're getting her... so stop asking for her. Personally I'm not a fan of Melissa but we do need a "Mean Girl" so I understand why people want her. Basically Confirmed Composure: 3 Luck: 8 - Gotta Be Pretty Lucky To Be A Massive B*tch And Survive That Long In The Movie Repair: 1 Speed: 10 Stamina: 4 Stealth: 8 - Basically Disappears For A Good Section Of The Movie Strength: 2 4. Megan - The Trouble Maker At the #4 spot I chose Megan from Friday The 13th Part 6 Jason Lives. Megan is probably my 2nd favorite character in the franchise so this one may be a little biased too. However I do know a lot of other people love her too so she's pretty popular... and hot. At first glance you may think she's not very unique however she is (kinda) Tommy's GF and also does save Tommy. She's also the daughter of Sheriff Garris. So she's pretty unique. However I have no clue if she would be added to the game or not. Megan would be the "Trouble Maker" since she gets in trouble by her Dad a bunch in the movie. Popularity - 7 Uniqueness - 8 Likely To Be Added - 5 Composure: 2 Luck: 5 Repair: 9 - Has A Pretty Nice Car And Seems To Know A Bit About Cars Speed: 6 Stamina: 8 - Able To Swim To Tommy And Bring Him Back To Shore Stealth: 2 Strength: 3 2. Tina - The Enhanced Girl At the #2 spot I chose Tina from Friday The 13th Part 7 A New Blood. Another hottie from the franchise. I know what your're thinking. You want Tina to be a new Hero character like Tommy. I REALLY don't want that. The reason why is Tina is my 3rd favorite character in the franchise and I would want to play as her all the time. I don't want her to be a Hero character because I would constantly be killing myself in the game just to play as her. So just make her a counselor. Plus adding telekinesis in the game would be stupid and OP. Tina as a counselor would be the best option because you can play as her all the time! Anyway... She's insanely popular. She has telekinesis in the movie so she's very unique. And she's requested all the time so she'll probably make it into the game. Tina would be the "Enhanced Girl." Popularity - 7 Uniqueness - 10 Likely To Be Added - 7 Composure: 5 Luck: 9 - Takes Some Luck At The Start To Tap Into Her Abilities Repair: 6 Speed: 1 Stamina: 7 - Runs Through The Forest A Bunch In The Movie Stealth: 5 Strength: 2 2. Alice - The Original Final Girl At the #2 spot I chose Alice from Friday The 13th Part 1 And 2. This one I see brought up all the time alongside Melissa and Trish so her popularity is great. She's the original F13 Final girl so she's pretty unique. She's a fan favorite and requested all the time so she's almost certain to make it into the game. Alice would be the "Original Final Girl." Yes I know, we already have Jenny as the Final Girl. But It doesn't hurt to have more than 1 Final Girl in the game. Especially fan favorites like Alice. Popularity - 10 Uniqueness - 7 Likely To Be Added - 9 Composure: 4 Luck: 2 - Not Very Lucky To Have Jason Find Out Where You Live Repair: 6 Speed: 3 Stamina: 4 Stealth: 9 Strength: 7 - Has Enough Strength To Cut Off Pamela's Head 1. Trish - The Sibling At the #1 spot I chose Trish from Friday The 13th Part 4 The Final Chapter. Trish is a huge fan favorite! She is one of the most badass characters in all of Friday The 13th and is really damn hot. Watching her defend Tommy from Jason in the last 10 minutes of the film is so awesome. You can tell Tommy and Trish really care about each other which makes her one of the more developed characters too. She's incredibly popular and is requested all the time. She's also Tommy's sister and she beat the hell out of Jason, so she's very unique. I think this is a must have in the game! Trish would be the"The Sibling." You gotta make Trish a counselor in the game Devs! Popularity - 10 Uniqueness - 9 Likely To Be Added - 9 Composure: 6 Luck: 1 Repair: 3 - Has To Have Rob Repair Her Car Speed: 4 Stamina: 7 - Fights Jason For Over 10 Minutes Stealth: 7 Strength: 7 - Puts Up A Good Fight Against Jason Top 3 Counselors I Want To See In The Game: 3. Tina 2. Megan 1. Trish Thanks for reading this. And please, fill free to comment your thoughts and suggestion. I would love to hear your guy's feedback on this. - Deku Scrub
  20. The next clothing pack maybe be sleeping clothes that's coming up next
  21. Things are beginning to reveal itself since the new UPDATE I NO LONGER AM HAVING ANY ISSUES WITH THE GAME. I AM GIVING THE UPDATE A CHANCE AND NOW GETTING USE TO IT. THIS TOPIC IS GETTING OLDER BY THE HOUR. ALSO IN MY EYE'S THIS TOPIC IS FINISHED. FOR THOSE THAT WANTS TO JUST CLICK ON TO THIS THREAD AND DISRESPECT PEOPLE OPINIONS AND JUST WANT TO ARGUE, GO KICK ROCKS! WELL... I THINK I'M DONE HERE, ENJOY FRIDAY THE 13TH AND THE NEW MAP AND KILLS EVERYONE! This is my 3rd day playing Friday the 13th on it's new update. I taking notice how more people are even RAGE QUITTING or SUICIDE. I also took huge notice that most of my friends aren't playing Friday the 13th now and starting to go back to GTA 5, Monster Hunters, [Dissidia Final Fantasy] (NEW GAME) and other games that they played before they played Friday the 13th. It's very sad that they are leaving Friday now. It hurts me the most because now when I look at it, Friday was the game that brought us all together. Friday the 13th was the game that pulled me out of GTA 5 because it was SO addicting. Now it's just me and a very few friends are playing now. I have so many friends for what now? How and where did I make so many friends from? Friday the 13th. But now, that's basically finished... Not everyone have the same games to play with each other on. In the first thread that I made, I post/commented that I was going to just give the update a chance, but what's happening now is BULL. I also stopped making comments on the first thread to read most of everyone's comments before the Staff locked it do to arguing and rudeness. Also coming to find out the staff had to locked it twice because of the same issue. WHERE'S THE RESPECT for other people opinions? Also telling others to get use to the UPDATE or get the F off the game and play another game like OverWatch or so... That is very disrespectful and wrong. Also now your wish is becoming true. Players that loves to play as Counselors are beginning to leave and stop playing Friday the 13th. How do I know? Because most of my friends are leaving, which really makes it a good example. This is becoming a mess and a problem. Right now the game is favoring Jason, which there are those that's not liking it. [Which you guys are calling NEWBIES that just signed up to state that they are not liking the update] In my own opinion, the game is suppose to be fun by playing as Jason and Counselors. It's suppose to go both ways. Now it's one sided and you all know it. We are about to have ONLY Jason players around and sadly for Jason players not everyone can be Jason at the same time. This is WAY OUTTA CONTROL! Can we all come to an understanding that this game isn't balanced at all between Counselors & Jason? Can we all just respect each other and work together to have this game be FUN by playing as Jason & Counselors...? I'm hurting right now because I don't want us to fight and I don't want to lose all my friends because of a stupid UPDATE. This is ridiculous! Please just be honest with each other. You guys don't like this game favoring Counselors and also don't like this game favoring Jason. Can we all get together and make this game fun for everyone then?
  22. Adding Character Interactions And More Dialogue This is probably in my Top 5 most wanted things added to the game. (Which I may make a post of later on). I don't know if anyone else has actually talked about this, although I am new to the forums. I know I'm not the only one that wants to get to know the counselors a lot better. They are all very unique with very cool designs and have really good voice actors. But I feel like none of them even know or care about each other. There's lots of things they can add to develop them more. But the coolest thing they can add IMO is Character Interactions and New Dialogue. Okay I'm just gonna get straight into it and show you how to put in Character Interactions and New Dialogue into Friday The 13th The Game in many different ways. BTW Some of this may sound cringey AF but... whatever. Note that I'm only applying Character Interactions to certain characters. Because giving every character Character Interactions with each other would take a while. And I won't be using any character that were added post launch. Also the Counselor Dialogue section applies to every counselor. So every counselor will say those lines just like how every counselor basically says the same lines in the game already. And finally I've added Counselor Responses. So when a counselor says something another counselor will respond back. Character Interactions - Jenny And Chad Interaction: Jenny: Chad! 23. Adding Reboot Jason And FvJ Jason Before we get started, yes I understand that they don't have the rights to Reboot Jason or FvJ Jason. I'm making this purely and simply just to give ideas if they were going to add them to the game. And who knows, F13 The Game was alot more successful than they thought so they might be able to get the rights to these beasts now. Reboot Jason: Strengths: + Can Run + Traps + Throwing Knives Weaknesses: - Morph - Sense - Defense Okay let me just start off by saying, I love the look of this Jason! Reboot Jason is probably my 3rd favorite look for Jason. I'm going to go through why I chose these stats for him. By the way, If they ever add Reboot Jason I do not think they will give him a Sprinting Animation instead of running and I don't think they will replace Shift for a Sprinting Ability either. I chose Can Run for one of his strengths because... well, he runs in the movie. I chose Traps and Throwing Knives because he seems like a more hunter style Jason. He uses Traps and a Bow in the movie. He's a much more realistic Jason. I chose Morph and Sense for two of his weaknesses because like I said, he's a much more realistic Jason. And I chose Defense for his last weakness because since he's more realistic that means he's not gonna have as much defense as any of the other Jason. FvJ Jason: Strengths: + Morph + Stun Resistance + Defense Weaknesses: - Can't Run - Water Speed - Stalk I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the look for FvJ Jason. However I do know that a lot of people love his design and I do think every on screen Jason should make it into the game. Alright, time to go through why I gave him those stats. I chose Morph as a Strength because he does seem to get from one place to another pretty quickly in the movie. I chose Stun Resistance and Defense for his other two strengths because him and Freddy beat the living hell out of each other. neither of them give it up even after Jason get his fingers cut off and his eyes stabbed. He's pretty tough in the movie and can take a beating. I chose Can't Run because he doesn't run. I chose Water Speed as a weakness because in the movie Jason is afraid of water even though in like almost every movie prior he's been in water . I chose Stalk for his last weakness because he isn't very stealthy in the movie. I would love to get these guys in the game one day. I know it's not likely but hey, I can dream. Thanks for reading this. And please, fill free to comment your thoughts and suggestions. I would love to hear your guy's feedback on this. - Deku Scrub
  24. Counselor Combat is the title of an all-new, original game mode that may possibly be added to the Friday The 13th Game. In this risky, fast-paced game mode, the basic gameplay elements are all exactly as they were in the old mode with a single exception: there will be no Jason. Instead, the seven counselors will fight amongst each other in a battle royale similar to the Hunger Games. Spawning as a randomly selected counselor at a randomly selected location, the seven counselors must battle it out until only one counselor is left standing. Either using the melee weapons (axe, bat, machete, pipe, wood, or wrench), the firearms (shotgun or flare gun), a physical item (pocket knives), or even an escape route (car, boat, or police) to kill the other counselors, the seven must fight against each other until only one remains. Some other notes include that the CB Radio and Tommy Jarvis will still be in the game, with a player once again coming back if called. The cars will still be there to run over counselors (though they couldn’t escape with them), the boat would be there to kill counselors in the water, and the police would still show up, only to drop off guns at the exit they spawn to. The weapons will still be able to break, the medical sprays will still be littered around the map, and the pocket knives can now be used to stab someone and cut their health in half. A final note to list is that the hiding spots would still be available to hide in, however, the other counselors could kill you by walking up to them with a weapon and pressing the same button as Jason. So as you can see, Counselor Combat would be an inexpensive, fantastic, and truly amazing addition to the wonderful game we already have before us. So, if the devs could take a look at this, as well as the F13 Game community, I would be extremely thankful for any comments, ideas, or criticisms. And if the creators could actually make this game mode a reality, I think it would add diversity, sales, and pure fun to this incredible game that has given me hours of entertainment. Thank you for your time and please give me a response, Illfonic!
  25. Less Pocket Knifes, Less Chances To Survive...? It's understandable of why there are so many complaints about pocket knifes... For example, when you are playing as: Jason Voorhees and want to do a GRAB KILL, but CAN'T. Why...? 1: Every time I grab this one counselor, this counselor has like 3 pocket knifes on him/her. 2: It's more easier to disable traps do to so many pocket knifes, you have like 4 or 5 counselors with pocket knifes, also make it 6 when Tommy Shows Up. I know how everyone feels when it comes time to play as Jason Voorhees and having to put up with the pocket knifes. I can see both point of views from playing as Jason and the counselors... Before I even discussed what's unfair to counselors and the disadvantage, please take the time to put your selves in the counselors shoes knowing how much counselors have to go through, just like how I put myself in Jason's shoes and discussed his issues and disadvantage. [Jason Voorhees Issues & disadvantage: At the top of the page^^^] Jason Voorhees now have a huge advantage over the counselors. Now that there are less pocket knifes in all the camps, Jason can really have his way with the counselors poor souls. What can we counselors do now? Nothing much because... 1: Not every counselor is going to use his/her pocket knifes on the traps that Jason sets up, because most of us just want to keep it for our selves to get out of Jason hands once when he grabs us right after he does his shift and then GRAB. 2: Also now we are forced to use our own bodies to trip Jason's traps because of the lack of pocket knifes now. Having Aid Spray won't matter much, now that we are going to be lacking of Aid Spray. 3: Not every counselor finds pocket knifes. It can be just that one counselor with 3 pocket knifes, but for someone else... Have you ever been that counselor when you actually have totally nothing on you at all? Please just take note of that. 4: When finding a pocket knife, it encourage some counselors to actually try to be a hero and help out more when it comes down to fixing things or trying to kill Jason. I say that's a lot more better then having a counselor hiding underneath the bed through out the 20 minutes of the match. 5: (This relates to number one in away) Not every counselor is going to use his/her pocket knifes on the traps that Jason sets up because not all of them are team players. There are still those that helps Jason by opening door and such. Now his J-O-B is easier then ever. This is all the reason what I can list for now, even though I pretty sure more of you will have your own reason and such...
