  1. This just doesn't make sense. Pamela talking to Roy, Killing Roy the same way you kill Jason. How about make another way to kill Roy like finding parts to craft spikes then pushing him onto it when he gets close enough or make a hidden weapon that's really rare to find to kill him like a dagger or a sword. With the Pamela talking to him thing, how about having his son talk to him in his mind when he first comes to whatever camp, so he basically walks to the camp entrance then his son says "Kill them all dad!" Instead of Ki Ki Ki Ma Ma Ma, for Roy it should be Ki Ki Ki Ra Ra Ra!"
  2. So i have to ask. Is it possible to get Roy´s (Jason Part 5´s) mask off? And if so, would he react to Jasons mothers sweatshirt and be able to get killed? Technically he is human and should be able to be killed with a shotgun blast, but that would balance out the game. On the other hand, he isn´t Jason, so he should not react to Jason´s weaknesses. But since Jason´s mother keeps talking every time you kill someone as Roy i guess its not the same part 5 as in the movies. Sould he have some other weakness or just be like any other Jason with their pros and cons?
  3. ~•Game Modes•~ So I made this post to share some of my ideas for new game modes, as well as some other ones that I've seen...... feel free to comment your own as well! 1.) Campaign Mode I was thinking a campaign mode would be pretty cool, and if I were to come up with the idea for one, I would base it off of the original NES game. If you don't know the plot for the original game, here's a quick summary that I stole from the wiki... "It's a pretty typical summer at Crystal Lake. There's a group of happy children staying in the Camp. You and your six camp counselor friends are watching over the kids while enjoying the lake and the wilderness. The days are bright and sunny. The nights are cool and clear. But Jason is on a rampage, and it's up to you to stop him, but it's not going to be easy. You must first fight your way through forests filled with man-eating wolves, caves covered with blood sucking bats, and hordes of mindless zombies everywhere you turn. You must also help any friend who is in danger, or else you can just kiss them goodbye. Hiding in a cabin or staying adrift in a canoe won't keep you safe, as Jason will find you. The only way to survive this summer is to challenge Jason face to face, and destroy him." (http://fridaythe13th.wikia.com/wiki/Friday_the_13th_(NES_video_game)). Now, this wouldn't be possible as of now, because a Jason AI doesn't exist, or at least that we know of, but none the less, I thought it would be a cool idea. 2.) Paranoia Mode Yes, I know that this mode exists, however we still don't know how it's going to work yet. If you don't know, there was a Friday the 13th computer game in 1985. Here's a summary of how you played it: "The player can roam around freely in the scenery, walk in and outside of buildings. Jason, as well as other characters, do the same. It is the player's task to make sure his friends do not get killed by Jason, who often appears disguised as one of them, unless he is hit once and becomes visible as a man dressed in black. Various weapons (e.g., chainsaw, pitchfork) are scattered around the area and can be picked up. There are five levels in the game, each time you play as another character. " (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friday_the_13th_(1985_computer_game)). Now, Paranoia wouldn't work exactly like this, but Jason being disguised as a player, such as a TF2 Spy, I believe is likely to make it in. Of course, Jason is going to be repleaced by Roy Burns, the copycat killer from Friday the 13th Part 5. Another way it might work is a sort of werewolf type game, where there are 7 or 8 counselors, and each day one of them is voted to be executed. Each night, the werewolf, or the copycat killer will choose someone to kill. Which of these two do you think is more likely? 3.) Pamela Mode Now, we all know that Roy and Pamela are not going to be in the regular F13 Mode. However, since Roy is getting his own game mode, why shouldn't Pamela? You could replace Jason's abilities with more human like ones. And she would likely use a Machete, Axe, or Bow, since all 3 of them are used in the original movie. But how would it work? I can imagine some sort of way to pick off counselors one by one. I can only see this as an altered version of the original F13 game mode. Finally, Pamela would probably control almost identically to the counselor. 4.) Part 9 Mode Inspired by SahSimon's idea, a game mode where instead of killing counselors, Jason will possess them. If you haven't seen Part 9, this is something that happens throughout, in order to keep Jason's spirit alive, yes I know, it's a really weird concept. To kill Jason, you would need to get a new hero character, either Creighton Duke or Jessica Kimble, who would spawn woth the voorhees dagger and kill Jason. There would have to be more steps in order to kill him, but I figure this would be a cool concept. 5.) Race Minigame Disclaimer: I did NOT make this idea, I found it on the forums previously. All the counselors would race to the exit while Jason tries to kill them all. Betraying is allowed, and all stats are identical. I see this as a minigame you'd play while waiting for counselors to ready up. 6.) Race Minigame: Room for 1 A slight twist on the "Race Minigame" all rules are the same except only 1 counselor can escape. Those are a few game mode ideas that I think would be really cool additions to the game. Comment below your opinions or your own game mode ideas.
  4. Edit - Trope/Role - "The Daredevil" Age - 17/18 @Randygbk Stats (Read far below for breakdown on why) Composure - 8 Luck - 7 Speed - 7 Stamina - 7 Stealth - 2 Strength - 2 Repair - 2 Character Model Designed By Me @ShiftySamurai @GunMedia_Ben @Gertz @[IllFonic]Courier @[IllFonic]illwill @wes Hope you guys like the concept. It's time for the iconic "Reckless" to get his shine in the video game. He's a bad ass, and he'd be a popular and marketable choice as a counsler because of his well rounded character type. We also need a male character with good composure + luck, we have none at the moment. Age will be a problem, so you CAN age him to 18 if it isn't possible to add him in as the 14 year old boy. It will bring in a little creative development, as long as his skinny build & red jogging suit (as a clothing option) stays for the sake of being instantly recognizable. Pics of Reggie older Edit - Stats for him based solely on movie and his character + background. This was thoroughly examined. Luck - 7 (He survived the movie, stunned Roy with a tractor, and nearly killed him in the barn.) Composure - 8 (He's courageous in the film and he says, "where I come from, it's best to learn not to be scared of nothing."😃Generally good fear management. Reggie represents his hood.) Stealth - 2(He didn't really play stealthy in the movie well, he made too much noise hiding in the barn. Instead of being quiet, he gave up his position cheering for Pam to hurt Roy with the chainsaw. A Black counsler should at least have "okay" stealth(5) in this game👀, but for balancing, you'll likely switch it to 4, and add a point to his 1 strength. Further balancing to take another point to add to composure.) Speed - 7 (He's notably fast in the final chase scene of the movie) Stamina - 7 (He left Pam behind in the dust paired with high speed.) Repair - 2 (We already have enough repair counslers currently and Reggie's trope isn't repair. Although he was able to start the tractor, meaning he's not clueless.) Strength - 2(He was skinny in the film + we don't have a another counsler other than Jenny with 1 strength. 2 can work as well.) Clothing style ideas -
  5. Tina needs to be in the game, perhaps as another option for coming back when you die or escape early besides Tommy. Her psychological powers would seem to be cool in a video game to fight against Jason. I think Reggie would be a interesting addition to the game as a counsler. He's different because of his age. I think he'd have high speed & stamina, decent composure & luck. Perhaps even repair skills judging from the movie.
  6. From the creator of the 2 Girls 1 Cup Song comes an earnest song/video about his loss of innocence while watching Friday the 13th Part 5 on VHS at a friend's house. Definitely worth a watch. This is a serious side project from Jon Lajoie, the comedian responsible for the late 2000's wave of YouTube parody music. Check it out. As a F13 fan, this definitely resonated with me.
  7. Since Tommy Jarvis Is playable (in some way). why not have Roy? Here's what I'm thinking.... Thought 1 Tommy can be accessed via he CB and then a players death. How about a 'Roy mask' Is hidden on the map, If a player finds It they becomes a watered down version of Jason, or a Tommy-esq character, and the Roy characters objective would be to kill everyone/Jason. Thought 2 A random character comes back as Roy Burns after they die, almost a Tommy-Esq return. Same rules, KILL EVERYONE.
