  1. So i had this idea similiar to tommy getting called in when you call on the cb radio for help, tommy spawns in from someone who escaped or died. The idea is when you call the cops, not only does the cop car spawn in at the exit but a cop would also spawn in at one of the exits as a player that died or escapped already. So this cop that spawns in job would be to help other counselors escape. The cop himself wouldn't get xp from escaping but only get xp by doing stuff like fixing things or hitting jason or actually escorting players out of the map as tommy can escort players out. So here is the thing by taking away the xp or need to escape for the cop he will be motivated to help the counselors. You see tommy often just spawns in and runs off and hides and tryes to escape. So I would also suggest that tommy gets no reward for just escaping either only for helping and escorting so he will be motivated to help counselors. Id even go further and say tommy and the cop can't escape unless escorting conselors out or they are last one to leave after everyone else died or left as another possible option. So thats the idea to make the game more interesting. Also I suggest they add a tommy character and police officer character into your conselor lists as an added idea and give them diffrent clothes to pick from to custimize their looks only you wouln't be able to choose them as starting characters only if you spawned in as them. I'd even suggest maybe two or three cop models, short fat, tall skinny, middle of the road cop. What ever you pick you spawn in as if your the cop. Also you wouldn't be able to add perks to the cop or tommy spawn in as the perks from regular conselors would carry over to them. I think this idea could make things more interesting. Maybe add a couple boxes of doughnuts around the map and if the cop gets one from a counselor or finds one he gets and extra power, energy, and speed boost. I don't know if this has been discussed before as I'm newer to the game.
  2. Hi I am BernyMoon

Hello everyone! I am new to the game and forum. I just bought the game 5 min ago (with the halloween skin pack) on steam since it was discounted and I just wanted to say hi. I know nothing about the game but I watched some videos and it looks cool. I saw they are going to improve the game and servers so I thought it was the best moment to join you. I am from Barcelona, 23 years old, I love horror movies (scream is my fav) and I love playing Dead by Daylight. Please add me on steam to play together and have some fun https://steamcommunity.com/id/bernymoon

I just thought of two new Jason ideas that I thought would be pretty neat. One of them would add a gameplay change to him. So the first idea is pretty basic, in fact, it might have already been said on the forums, but I thought it would be cool if Jason had his own emotes, they'd have to be realistic towards his character and I have a couple ideas: Crack Neck - Cracks your own neck. Rainy Day - Takes your weapon and flicks it to get blood off. Kneel - Uses the same animation for when Tommy knocks him down. Does not kill Jason though and can stay in this state for as long as you want. Time Out - Does not work with Part 2 or Part 5 (Roy Burns), but Jason raises his hockey mask up to show his disfigured face (like the scene from Part 3 after he's hanged). My only son... - Part 5 (Roy Burns) only, Roy takes out his wallet with his sons picture and cries for his son. Hallucination - Only works in water, but Part 1 Kid Jason or Part 3 Undead Pamela rises up to the water for a few seconds and goes back down. Was also thinking about Jason to have the choice of using Regular Jason, Part 1 Kid Jason or Part 3 Undead Pamela for rocking the boat and drowning people. At least Part 1 Jason would be nice though because he actually has a model. Above Water - Only works in water, Rises up in the water for a few seconds only to go back down. List your own emote ideas if you want to too lol The other idea I have is a Gameplay Change... Basically, if you guys remember, Jason, Pamela, Roy, all of them liked to move bodies after they killed them. I was wondering what everyone would think if we could like, let's say, press E near a dead body to pick them up and then your abilities would be changed to 4 different pictures of what you can do with the bodies. It'll be like how you can choose kills too with what you do with the bodies. Also, you don't have to carry bodies to your intended place as I imagine it would take too long with slow-moving Jason, although to balance this, let's just say that once you move a body, there is no way for you to move it again. To move the body though, you press what you want to do with the body and the map pops up like how it would for morph and you get the red dot, well wherever you put the red dot is where it'll put the body (more or less, wherever the closest place you can put the body it'll place) So here's a couple ideas I have for what you can pick for moving the bodies. Crispy Hangings - Does the Crispin Glover Nail Hanging onto a door bit which can block the door, Survivors can remove the body though to get through, but they will have to do a skillcheck (higher composure allows you to get rid of it easier). If Jason is also blocked by the body, he can just rip the body off the door like in the movie. He cannot place it back on the door though. (Needs arms and legs still) Weekend At Bernie's - places the body in a nearby chair. Shelly's Pass - Places a body in a closet that when opened, the opener gets immediately spooked when the body flies out. Hanging Tree - A body is hanged by a tree. (Needs Head still) Upside-Down Hanging Tree - A body is up in a tree until someone goes closer in which it fall upside down and spooks them. (Like in Part 3 with Loco). Nailed - A body is nailed in the throat against a tree (Like in Part 5). (Needs Head still) Like Mother, Like Son - A body is nailed against a door with arrows (Like Bill's death in Part 1). Bedsheet Hanged - A body is against the wall with bedsheets holding them. (Like in Part 2). Stowaway - A body is placed in the boat which must be skillchecked in order to be removed. (Higher Composure and Higher Strength will come in handy). Those are all the ideas I have for what you can do with bodies, list your own too if you have any
  4. All the kills in the game are so far great, aswell as brutal. However, I feel like there should be more. I have tons upon tons of ideas for kills, but can only list so many at once. Here's a list of some that I have thought up that If feel would be a good contribution for the game as possible dlc weapon kills. (With fun names I also came up with) Pt 3) 1. (Timber) Jason has a wood chopping axe right? So it would seem reasonable that he will chop the counselor down like a tree. Three fatal blows to the conselor's side with the axe, only to have it getting stuck in the abdomen. Jason pulls the axe backwards only to have the conselor slowly fall forward or backward like a chopped tree 2. (When Push Comes To Shove) Jason pushes the conselor back and slams the axe onto the ground [axe head up] and gut punches the conselor having them fall forward. The conselor uses their arms to prevent falling neck first into the axe, but Jason uses his boot to shove the conselor, neck first, into the axe head-decapitating them. Pt 2) 1. (Head Pull) Jason swings the pick upwards into the conselor's neck [ similar to part 8's chin strike- except it goes to the neck]. The conselor falls to their knees, and jason walks up behind them, grabs the pick [whom's handle is upward] , and slowly tries to pull the axe back with one hand, whilist the other is holding the conselor down, overall decapitation once jason gets the pick out by pulling it. Pt 6) 1. (Throw over) Jason quickly impales the conselor in the chest and lifts them up above his head. Jason gives a quick jolt up and down with the spear, causing the conselor to slide down. After a second or two, Jason moves the spear back to throw the conselor over his shoulder, just as he glances over to make sure the deed is done. 2.(Neck Snap) Jason smacks the conselor across their face using the blunt end of the spear, causing them to stumble back and spins them backwards. Jason goes behind them and puts the spear horizontal in front of their neck and pulls back towards himself. Pinned against Jason, the conselor struggles as they are choked by the long rod. After a while, Jason quickly moves the spear clockwise, snapping the conselor's neck to the side. It would be cool if some of these ideas would be implemented into the game. I will post more kills later on. . .
  5. Hey, Has anyone been to the original location of the 1st Friday the 13th Movie? I am planning a day road-trip this summer, to New Jersey to see the filming locations. I wasn't sure if they allow you to enter the camp but I wanted to see if anyone on the forums has been there? I will be sure to post pictures when the time comes! Thank you, TiffanyCox A.K.A - Clayton
  6. Hello, Everyone!

Oh, hello! I didn't see you there, and that's probably why I'm dead. I'm a little late getting to the forum here, but I started playing Friday on PS4 around the October Friday the 13th event. I'm always stoked to meet new folks with a passion for horror and cooperative survival. I'm a twenty-three year old writer and fuel station attendant with a Bachelors in English, with emphasis in Creative Writing. Horror has been my favorite genre for as long as memory serves. My favorite horror authors are H.P. Lovecraft, E.A. Poe, Michael Wehunt, and Steven King. I grew up playing Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and watching Horror flicks as often as I could. I'm stoked to be a part of this community and hope to see all of you on the campgrounds! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
  7. Just curious who are the next councellers to be added in the game ?
  8. Hi everyone, I've been a long-time backer and player. There is one feature that this game NEEDS, and that is customizable counselor stats. We all know that the counselors get 35 stat points across their various categories. However, many of the standard counselor builds are complete garbage. To avoid potential balance issues (like Vanessa in the beta with too much stamina) there could be a limit on stats past 9 (for example only two stats at 9 or higher). I personally like to play a mixture of stealth/distraction/objective with my counselors and wish there was a stat build that reflects it. - - - My dream build for a counselor would be - - - Composure: 5 Luck: 4 Repair: 4 Speed: 7 Stamina: 7 Stealth: 7 Strength: 1 Thoughts? Opinions? Responses? Please and thank you.
  9. Hello everyone, a while ago Gun Media released a teaser about the new game mode called "Paranoia". My question and purpose of this topic is, what is it about? I have not seen anyone speculate about this and I would like to know their opinions. Personally I think that in this mode we will be on a very small map where we will have to solve puzzles, find objects and clues, and in passing discover the murderer who will be Roy Burns disguised as another counselor. Like Roy Burns we will have to kill the others without being discovered and prevent them from escaping. With this in mind they could also add Pamela Voorhees as a murderer. Well this is all thanks for reading this topic
  10. Anyone else seen the super cool previous limited edition Jason and thought wow I wish I had that. That’s me. I missed the initial limited edition. I can’t complain, because it’s my fault I missed it, however I think it would be cool to have a new limited edition Jason at some point. What does everyone else think?
  11. hey

  12. Hi there I'm new

Hii everyone, I got this game for my birthday [PS4] few days ago and it's awesome ? and yeah thats all for now.
  13. Heylo, new here!

Hey everyone, I'm not new to the game but definitely on the forums. I have had this game for the Xbox One for months now and I love this game. I am actually looking to make videos on this game so please check them out when you have the time, I think you will find them entertaining >:) Thanks!
  14. Hey guys and girls, new user. Who else likes the ideas of good open ended topics? Excellent game! The waiting between deaths during a match can be dreadful. Sometimes plays are really on the lines of seeming not worth watching. Now I'm not personally digging on anyones capabilities BUT I WONT GO THERE. Virtual Cabin 2.0 upon death. Thoughts? Share!
  15. It seems you guys are working very hard to fix the game and to get things fixed faster you reach out to the community to report bugs. I feel if you want to fix the game from being broken you should make a new mode for players that will benefit everyone. The new mode should be Sandbox Dev Mode. An offline mode where you can load a map and control every aspect of how a game would load and start. You can load in idle characters and change to control whoever you want. You can reload the map on the fly and be able to do stuff. Maybe implement AI in the future so simulation. Of course have this mode reward no XP/CP but players could freely explore the map, learn what does what and where and experiment. They game should only load the stuff of the current engine builds and then we can see if problems can be replicated and essentially break the game a lot faster then with all the lobby waiting and reloading.
  16. Hello, I'm Ryan. This game is hilarious. Is it meant to be? Either way I love it!
  17. Hello; I'm new to the forums, and I was yelled at a few times for not making a post before making an introduction. Now that I've done one, stop yelling @ me. I always liked the Friday the 13th series, and seeing the game come out was great news. I bought it instantly, and played it since. I'll be contributing ideas for FT13 whenever I get a new one. Peace out!
  18. On the live servers if you step in a BearTrap the counselor will walk slowly whilst holding their arm doesn't make since he stepped in the beartrap not put his arm in it, I want a animation whilst walking your counselor will be limping and not holding their arm
  19. i don't know if this is a thing but I hope down the line we get challenges where if you accomplish something or do like challenges we are able to get outfits that will let us show off that we completed a challenge instead of just leveling up my opinion and it would be nice to show off that you have a different Tommy
  20. I believe Jason Part 7 needs a rework and instead of Part 7 receiving other abilities that are too common and shared with other Jason's already such as fast shift, etc. he should be given some fresh new abilities to have his gameplay be different and unique from the others. This will allow a seemingly fresh new gaming experience when playing as Part 7, give birth to brand new tactics and counter strategies (for the counselor's side). The two abilities below are an inspiration from the Part 7 film. Here are some ideas that are different from the other Jason's abilities but can be given to Jason Part 7 to make him feel fun and diverse: JASON PART 7: IDEA 1: "Grip Strength" ability in Strengths now removed. New strength ability now added called "Bleeding Lacerations". Bleeding Lacerations - Jason's melee weapon strikes with his machete now cause a "bleeding" effect on a successful non-blocked strike to a counselor. Bleeding effect causes a counselor's health to drain very slightly over time and immediately enter a "cripple" movement state for ten seconds. The gradual health reduction through bleeding is non-lethal and cannot kill a counselor on it's own. Using a med spray on a counselor while in the "bleeding" condition will remove the debuff status immediately. Why? Reasons: - Jason Part 7 has the slowest movement and map control out of all the Jason's in the entire game. He has a weakness in his teleport (Morph), a weakness in his Shift (slow), the least amount of traps available to contain objectives, and he also cannot Run. With Jason Part 7 having this new unique buff on his melee attack, not only would it make him a menacing threat with his Machete (homage to the movie), but it would force respect and coordination from the counselor's when he does happen to get in close and he will be better rewarded for his struggles in closing the distances. IDEA 2: "Water Speed" ability in Strengths now removed. New strength ability now added called "Compact Flesh". Compact Flesh - All weapons that hit or are blocked by Jason have double break rate, effectively halving their overall durability. Why? Reasons: - As mentioned earlier above with many of the weaknesses and shortcomings that Jason Part 7 has when it comes to overall map control and general mobility, Jason will need an added form of some pressure in the nature of a defensive ability. This essentially will make Jason Part 7 a pseudo tank allowing him to soak up counselor's weapon durability if they choose to battle the slow monstrous behemoth. Since running away and juking Part 7 is a severe weakness, he will need an extra layer of tension when the time comes to fight and this will reward the Jason player for the short times battle engages VS counselor's do happen. Thoughts? Opinions?
  21. Hey People

Hey all i started off not liking this game as my first two matches were soo laggy but no 100 odd matches later im so hooked im gathering alot of footage to make a game review for youtube if you would like to see it subscribe to me on there thanks Ghostie https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP_892ioxhqkxcM8fSaoOig?disable_polymer=true
  22. What's gonna be his stats? I need somebody to help me because I don't have the movie to watch Jason's actions. It's also confirmed he has a cleaver. How's the new map gonna look like? Like I said up there. I never owned the movie. (Probably should try to rent it though) Also, were gonna have a chance to recreate Jason's death, just with an older Tommy. Discuss it.

  25. Ok, I was giving some thoughts to potential new game modes that might be interesting. An idea popped in my head for a checkpoint run that would take place on a map. Not sure what to call this idea for a mode. Maybe "Death Race"? 1. There would be 13 checkpoints scattered throughout the map. Each counselor could see the next checkpoint that they needed to reach by arrow indicator on their mini-map and as an icon on the mini-map when they were close enough to it. 2. When a counselor reaches a checkpoint they have to interact with it to get a token (checkpoints can be indoors or outdoors). When they get the token, the next checkpoint will be annotated on the mini-map. Each checkpoint they reach they will get an XP award in addition to the token. 3. When a counselor gains all 13 tokens they can exit the map at one of the points where the cops would normally arrive. 4. Jason's task of course is to kill all of the counselors before they collect the necessary tokens and escape. 5. The whole of the map would still be usable, so counselors can hide and move through cabins as normal, or use any means they can to reach the next checkpoint to get their token. 6. No other escape options would be present on the map. No phone. No cars. No boat. No Tommy. 7. Jason would know where all the checkpoints are, but not in which order counselors will have to reach them. The order of checkpoints randomizes every match. What do you think? @Gertz
