  1. If anyone already has a thread like this, my apologies, I haven’t been on this thread these past few months due to college. So I’m a little locked out the loop. Here are some map-specific dlc ideas such as new characters or skins. Now I’m taking into account that many of these ideas likely won’t go through until at least a couple of years down the line, when the developers have the time and funds to do these things. Much of the credit for the skins goes to @bewareofbears for coming up with this idea in a previous thread. Packanack: -Terry’s outfit for Tiffany, Scott’s outfit for Adam, Paul’s outfit for Kenny, and Ginny’s outfit for Jenny since she is our “Final Girl”. Or.... -Ginny herself as a dlc-specific counselor for Packanack instead of Tommy. Instead of a shotgun, Ginny would automatically come to the map with Pamela’s sweater along with a map, radio, and pocket knives. Another male character will simply fill in the role of killing Jason for Tommy. Or if she is summoned, she will be the only female character allowed to use the sweater. It’s the most iconic part of her character after all. -Paul. We can have the chance to find out if he lives or dies. - A new kill set for Part II Jason includes him throwing his pickaxe into a counselor’s face and knocking them down the down the steps similar to how he killed Mark and him showing his pickaxe into a counselor’s stomach, like how he killed Vicki. Crystal Lake -Alice’s outfit for Jenny, and Steve’s shorts and red bandanna for Kenny. Kenny is automatically shirtless with this outfit 😉. -I don’t think Alice or any of the characters from the first movie would be added as dlc characters since they’re all...y’know canonically dead at this point. But if there were any possible way for a willing dispension of disbelief, then Alice could replace Tommy as a summon. She comes in with an axe instead of a shotgun because.... -If Pamela is ever going to be added in as a killer or for “Paranoia Mode”, then Alice would be the only one allowed to kill her as a homage to the first movie. Shotguns are not in this mode for obvious reasons, unless one wants the game to be over in thirty seconds. Pamela also picks up whatever weapons she can find and many of hers kills are similar to her kills in the first movie. -Another variation of this is Part I Jason as a DLC Jason lurking in the lake. He’s not playable but if you have only Pamela as the killer, Part I Jason could kill you for his mother if he swims up to the boat. He can only kill you in the water however because of the game mechanics, and he’s, well, still a child. Higgins Haven - Chris’s outfit for Jenny. It comes full circle. Vera’s outfit for Deborah and Chuck’s outfit for Mitch. Whatever Ali or Lobo wore for Adam. -Chris as an actual counselor for those who want the real thing. She comes in with an axe and is the only one who can kill Jason instead of Tommy. Jarvis House -Trish’s Act Three outfit for Jenny. -Trish herself is a second summon. If both Jarvis siblings are present and all the necessary steps have occurred, a special cutscene will involve them beating down and killing Jason together as they pretty much did in the final chapter. -Jim, Sara, and Ted as dlc counselors. Jim gets a specific emote where he dances exactly like he did in the film. -If he drags them upstairs, Part IV Jason will throw a counselor out the upstairs window similar to how he did Tina . If it hits one of the cars, the car is irrevocable damaged. Other suggested kills include how he killed that creepy coroner Axel or the nurse. The corkscrew kill is added as an environmental kill and him throwing the pig splitter into the counselor’s chest, like Sara’s. Grendel Map( Now this is speculative territory”) -Jenny gets Rowan’s outfit. Vanessa gets Kay Em’s while Tiffany gets Janessa’s outfit. -Or everybody gets space military outfits. -Uber Jason could possibly have all his kills from the movie. -Sgt. Brodski replaces Tommy. I mentioned in a thread months ago how if he kills Jason the same way he did in the movie, he will die with Jason but whoever plays him gains massive points. - Kay-Em is a character dlc. Her strength and luck should both be extremely high. Any other thoughts and ideas on dlcs and maps are welcome.

So I've spoken to a fair number of players who want things like town maps, hospitals, police stations, more indoors areas etc. Well I think a small town map (think part 6) would be perfect after a pinehurst map! I decided to draw out an example (it's really basic I'm in no way an artistic person). It shows the sort of layout these maps could have to maintain the gameplay we already have. For the purpose of Jason's shack and making car escape difficult I included a small forest area, but in reality about 70% of the map would be town focused. You venture into the forest area to gain items from the 1 or 2 cabins or to repair the car which then requires passing the narrow forest roads onto the town roads to then proceed to escape (Makes the car escape less easy).All the buildings i.e hospital/police station would be about the size of packanack or jarvis house and maybe one could be three stories as the main hub. But it would really add some variety to the game and some new objectives could be added to escape with them in mind! So here's a basic drawing of my map idea... Don't judge my drawing skills again

I have seen people discuss this in regards to the fuse but something i was thinking about to make the game a little more challenging would be if all items/collectibles and weapons spawned randomly all over the map. Rather than having the collectible tapes being solely found in drawers it would be cool to find one just laying on the dock or on a bench by a tent. Same with the repair items/health spray/weapons, i think it would create for a more fun and difficult match if you never know wether you will find an item in a cabin or along the path in the woods or near the dock.I personally think that with the current way that items spawn it becomes more often than not predictable for players to know where they need to look for items to escape just minutes into the match. I hope this is something that devs consider for a future update

I have been going through a lot of game play over the last few months and one thing i think would be a great addition to this already great game would be customization options for private games. not anything intense, but something along the lines of map options where you could put maps on random, but get rid of the ones you don't want to play (ex. say you just want to play the big maps, or vice versa just the small maps, or you don't want to play Packanack, or you don't want to play Jarvis House, you could toggle them). same thing with counselors, (ex. Tiffany toggled off so players that join your private game aren't stupid and don't rely solely on you to fix everything. I know they all have different perks for a reason, but when you're in a game where 5 of 7 counselors are Tiffany just so they can stare at her ass, it becomes a bit irritating) To take it a step further, Jasons. Toggle on accepted Jasons (ex. no Part 7, no Savini, etc) I feel like these options would allow people to host better online matches that feel more fairly placed for everyone, again not having a Tiffany/Chad army. and would enable you to pick maps with random option without having to play maps nobody in the lobby wants to play especially if they only have 10-15 minutes.   7. I posted this in the wrong place so here it is. I was chatting with some players over the past few days and we came up with some ideas for additions to the game. First, it would be awesome to have a map set on the property of Pinehurst Halfway House. The map could focus on the main structure, but also have a car to escape and perhaps a moped. This would be a great departure from the usual gameplay and much artistic license could be used to construct a larger compound area for the entire grounds of Pinehurst. I also think there could be a "Forest Green" map that would basically just have slight adjustments from the Camp Crystal Lake map but more late 80s and renovated with a few new buildings. Some of the buildings could be inaccessible or boarded up and only have one way in. A total of 6 maps would be amazing to choose from. 7 would be spectacular. Then there wouldn't be a need for any new maps. Next, it would be awesome if another character to come back with once we die. That is, if conditions are met. We came up with one doable idea and another more far fetched one. first, If someone calls the police, a dead player should spawn as Sheriff Garris. This is a fair compromise for getting a second chance like when Tommy is called. I think it would be interesting if a person who dies comes back as a Sheriff Garris once the police are called. That would be very interesting. I also think Jason should get a bonus for killing him. Secondly, another character that could show up would be Tina equipped with unique telekinetic powers. She can stun Jason with her own cool down power. I always thought Tina was such an interesting character. These bonus characters would help with rage quitters who die unfortunately within the first few minutes and leave. If they stay, they could be chosen as either Tommy, Garris, or Tina to come back and help the campers in different ways. Dead players could have 3 chances to return if someone calls them so there's no excuse for rage quitting also, expert Jason's would have another chance to get 3 extra kills and bonus xp for killing the special characters I think it would be great to have 4 more counselors to choose from. Next, it would be great to be able to customize a 30, 20, or 15 minute game. Also, it would be nice to customize your favourite counselor with 3 trait points. Like the perks, those trait points can be removed or added to another counselor As well, I think adding another way to escape would be nice. A moped. You have to find the wheel and the keys and it can seat two people. Lastly, finding a way to prevent the same items from spawning in the same cabins would be a huge help. For example, two maps in the same cabin. I believe all these ideas would help to continue elevating the game, thanks for listening!
  8. I don't care for the small maps so it'd be nice if you could set it to random for either type, so that the small ones or large ones depending on what you want, don't show up.
  9. is anyone else having trouble trying to find the locations of the cabins on these new maps? Can anyone give me some hints or info on where they are?
  10. I'm loving the new update. The new smaller maps are great and am thankful for some bugs and exploits getting fixed. i also like the way team killing was handled. So great job all around! I have four minor things to suggest and mention: - Suggestion: Options for "Random-Small maps" and "Random normal maps" alongside the Random option for all maps. Right now I'm assuming the Random option is a catch all and will cycle all 6 maps but sometimes you're in different moods for one type or another only. -Suggestion: A timer displayed during Private games. Unless I have been missing something, as far back as I can remember there is only a timer displayed in Public and not Private matches. -Suggestion: Move the "Welcome message" back down near the menu where it used to be. The placement looks awkward now and covers the nice Jason model on the main menu. -Bug: While in a Private game and playing as a counselor I entered Jason's shack and my character stumbled back when she saw Jason's Mother like she usually does but there was not the typical music or crash that occurs when she sees it. Instead, it just went silent. It should be noted that Jason's music was softly playing, as he was somewhat near. Thanks and nice job again on the new update. Looking forward to many fun matches with the new maps and fixes in place.
  11. Map Ideas: The Hospital from Part 5. The Ship from Part 8. The Spacecraft from Part 10. The town Springwood from Freddy V. Jason. Characters: Play as any character that was a killer in one of the movies. Basically have a killer for each Jason movie. Spawns: Don't spawn in or around Fuse house. Anyone worth their wit goes directly to fuse house as Jason and if you're spawned there and they aren't reasonable you spend 20 minutes spectating. Possibly make it to where Fuse house isn't on Jason's map, that could fix this issue. Also perhaps taking the cars off of Jason's map until they are started or he marks them in some way. I know people want to lower Jason's abilities because he is so OP, but I think removing these things from his map would create great balance. Ideas: Have at least one pocket knife per trap Jason spawns with. If it's the Jason with 7 traps, there should be 7 knives. Maybe work on Jason's ability to block flares and firecrackers and perhaps work on his grab range, it's pretty crazy. Counselor swing should not be canceled by Jason grab. Perhaps force more water interaction as in place propeller or gas or the boat itself on an island in the lake so Jasons with better water stats are used because counselors are forced to get in the water. Also with that, give the counselors some type of defense in the water. Maybe make each Jasons music different to add a little fun, like dueling banjo music for Part 2. haha I doubt this will be read by the developers but I do think this is a list of some pretty good thoughts. I constantly think of more ideas for this game and they aren't all about me getting angry and making it easier, some are creative. Thanks for the game though. Literally the only game I play and the reason I even bought a new gaming system. Greatest game I think I've ever played.
  12. First of all, hello to Everyone out there. We know it all: We only have 3 maps to play and it get's a bit boring and waiting for new maps doesn't make it better. The game developers are busy with patching stuff, so why don't we create our own maps with rating system? Building our own custom maps, just like the map editor in GTA V or in Far Cry 3 for example. I want to show you my idea, and maybe you will like it and the Game Developers will see it! Certain Symbol explanation: ⚑ Map Name: Shows the name of the map © Creator: Shows who made the map ? Playtime: Shows how often the map got played ? Like: Shows how many players liked the map ? Dislike: Shows how many players disliked the map ? Coloured Like/Dislike: Shows that you already liked or disliked the map ✔ Verified: Shows that the map got verified by the Game Developers ♛ Crown: Shows that the Creator of the map got many upvotes for plenty created maps # Hashtag: Shows what kind of map it is (atleast 3-4 words) and you can use the hashtags for searching maps ...   14. Crystal Lake is the maps of the 1st film. Packanack Lodge is the maps of the 2nd film. Higgins Haven is the maps of the 3rd film. Maybe the next maps is the 4th film (Jarvis House) ????

  16. What new map do you guys think they're working on putting in the game? Personally I hope it's the Jarvis house/party cabin from part IV, though a Lazarus map would be really cool if they could do it!
  17. So 3 smaller variant maps of the existing maps. I'll hold out on a final opinion on these until I play on them. But I wont get my hopes up.
  18. I recognize that it's unlikely they will tell us here but- when is new content arriving? DLC, maps, Jasons, maybe counselors? The only news recently is that there will be no Pamela and that's the exact opposite of when new content is coming. The game has seen a steady decline, mostly due to server issues and exploits but once you get past those you find how little the game has to offer. It's fun, but repetitive and there's very little incentive to grind past Level 31.
  19. Hello, Thx for the great game (dont even expected this), so far i play on xbox one and try to calm down my self from very often crash during the game online. What i wanna ask if any plans for dlc for money, free, any? maybe new maps or new jasons? Any hope to get later in future dlc savani jason? Thank you:) p.s. waiting patch for xbox one
  20. So this is a mode where they add a bunch of trap options for jason. Such as snares, dead falls, pungi sticks, trip wires, etc. OFFLINE MODE(SET UP) Everybody can go through each map and set traps as Jason in an offline mode and then save the map. Number of traps and trap types can be purchased with cp. (should probably have some limit) Placing of jump scares can be purchased with cp. (bodies, random NPC popping up, etc) ONLINE MODE(PLAY) Then in the online mode it's just like normal play except if you are Jason your traps and whatever else load into the map you are playing on. Also, there would be increased ways to disarm traps, but I haven't thought about that yet This would be a cool way to keep you on your toes, because after a few games you basically know what to expect an it is right now. It would be like a creative hard mode. There would obviously be some restrictions. Probably no traps in randomly spawned buildings or camp grounds, places like the barn and static houses would be ok. Trees don't move, atleast I don't think they do so trapping trees and paths should be alright. Obviously there are things that would have to be worked out but I think you get the idea.
  21. All of this Packanack Lodge roof climbing sure ruins the game a lot. Two games in a row I noticed a bunch of people running on the main house roof the entire game. One thing that I thought of, and could reduce roof glitches, is adding ladders on both Packanack and Higgins Haven stages. I am sure that this has been mentioned before on different threads but as I can see it, this is a step in the right direction. Both counselors and Jason should be able to climb ladders, and Jason could even use shift on ladders too.
  22. All the maps are randomized which is good. Its just not as random as I envisioned before release. I think my biggest gripe is the cabin locations. They are the same depending on the map with no variation in their locations. I was under the impression that cabins would be in different locations but they are the same every game. Yes item spawn are random and I think are perfect right now. But cabins being in the same place every game kinda blows for me.

  25. So I've been making a Starcraft map, original Starcraft. Everything should be set and ready to go; triggers are ready and should be working. Bases are built, locations for AI are set. And yet, when I start the map using the correct settings, I am only met with a completely black map. Not sure what I did wrong. Is this a common issue?
