  1. Ok folks, Lets hear what issues you find to be critical to improving the game. I'm allowing multiple votes per item. If I've left something off you really want to see happen, please add it into you comments and give details! ?
  2. Currently any critical item held by a counselor killed or quitting in the water sinks to the bottom and can't be used. Councilors climbing through windows are pretty much invincible until the animation ends. The broken melee system needs work. Hit detection and range suck. Fix it and remove combat stance and assign melee attacks, block and dodge to buttons/keys. Combat stance is a middle man we can do without it barely gets used anyway. Make grab more effective but fair by keeping the range and widening the hit box. That way you just can't run by Jason and "force grabbing" dosen't come back. Jason taking extra damage while stunned needs to go. So does stun locking Jason for half a minute.

Now before everyone jumps down my neck, yes I would like to see all the major issues fixed, but after playing alot I thought of some small fixes or additions which I think would make the game better and or helpful. I know probably some of these have been mentioned before. 1. When in a lobby, have something come up on next to the users name if they are in customizing menu with their characters. maybe something that says customizing character next to their name. Just so other people in the lobby dont think they are gone or not responding because they arent readying up right away. 2. Make the menu Jason whatever Jason you are currently playing instead of Just part 3 3. Have NES skin Jason have its own intro and outro rather then just defaulting to Part 3 normal skin. 4. Have different music for menus and lobbys rather then just the same song over and over. 5. Make SOME furniture movable.. mostly just couches and chairs in the cabins, also make Jason able to brake apart couches 6. Have a XP wager/betting mini game for the spectators after they die on if the remaining counselors will survive or not. 7. Let the passengers get into the car and boat before they are started, as long as all the other pieces have been put together. (Gas, Battery, Propeller) 8. Make the counselors able to climb over the fencing/guard rails near the roads. 9. Have Jason be able to throw counselors out the top story windows in Packanack lodge and Higgins haven 10. Make it so Male counselors can kill Jason with no female counselors present. Idea: First must knock Jasons mask off, second he must be stunned, pour gas on him while stunned, lastly someone must shoot him with a flare gun to light him on fire, killing him for the round. To make this more difficult for the counselors, Jason would be able to wash the gas off in the water if the counselors arent able to light him on fire before that. Let me know what you guys think
  4. Just a few opinions from my time in the game. It may sound like a Jason love fest, but some of these address counselors able to fearlessly walk around Jason. - Have counselors perform a simple action correctly for a pocket knife to work. Insta activation seems a bit odd - Have a Jason counter to firecrackers and/or have it effect counselors as well - Throwing knives to the legs instantly wound/slow - Improve lock-on. It's difficult when there are multiple people in the same area - Remove counselor lock-on to other counselors - Add vote kick - Ability to break in-game props, such as tables
  5. In this topic I will be talking about features I think should be implemented, fixed, or outright removed. 1. Counselors should be able to disarm Jasons traps. Reason being is that if he puts a trap right in from of a car or the phone box "which they always do" its virtually impossible to fix it because you are forced to step into the trap which then alerts Jason and then you're screwed. 2. Players should not lose control of there counselor when they see a dead body. Reason being is that from a game play perspective it doesn't really make sense because in the beginning scene you see your fellow counselor being killed so I dont think you would freak out every single time you see a body. The other main reason is that if Jason grabs someone and you go to save whoever was grabbed by hitting Jason sometimes that swing brings you into line of sight with a body and it stops your character mid swing to say "Oh my god is that a dead body" causing your friend to then be killed. Also if you are running for your life from Jason and you see a dead body and your character stops dead in his tracks to freak out over a dead body then getting you killed is so stupid and doesn't make sense. Its fine if its just an audible thing and or increases your fear level but to stop your character from doing anything for a short time is dumb. 3. I believe stamina needs to be reworked it seems to me that it runs out a little too fast even form good high stam characters. 4. I dont think players should have to wait til a vehicle is started to enter it, they should just be able to get in. 5. I think Tommy Jarvis shouldn't be able to leave until all other counselors are either dead or escaped, because his whole purpose is to help others escape and all to often we see someone come back as Tommy just to escape.
  6. I figure it's best suited for them to be able to see a compiled list of everyone's suggestions, including my own and friends from 10 or so hours of play. So if you want to add your suggestion, and it's not already in the OP, just put it in this thread and I'll add it. Suggestions from the Community: 1. Private Game options/settings customization. Include adjustable stats for Jason and the players, abilities on or off, match time limits, victory conditions on or off, perks on or off, adjustable handicaps, so on and so forth. Let us create our own custom experience in Private matches. 2. Improve hiding/stealth, and enable more ways to avoid "Sense", such as crouching and stealth being overall more useful, therefor allowing the player to avoid continuous encounters with Jason if you manage to get away. 3. Camera work needs improving, too wonky/finicky, indoors especially. 4. Too easy for Jason to catch up to you using Teleport and Shift, perhaps increase cool down, and with the right hide mechanics could help balance it. 5. Jason's kill prompts come up too quickly/easily, perhaps a quicktime prompt battle between Jason and the Counselor trying to break free to decide if the Counselor gets free or if Jason kills them? 6. Visual indicator on who is talking. 7. Stamina is currently the most useful skill in the game by far, it's essentially your life meter, so perhaps a retooling of character speeds and making the other skills more prominent? 8. Avoid possible scenarios where a Counselor can simply circle a car to avoid Jason. 9. Calling the Police is arguably easier than getting the car parts, so perhaps some retooling and balancing on victory conditions and how they are obtained? Have the Police as NPCs at the exit, where Jason can take the time to kill them, thus making it a gamble of time spent for both sides? 10. Vote to kick feature(excluding Jason), to eliminate potential trolling and griefing. 11. Add Tutorials for different aspects of the game that aren't as obvious. 12. Remove or change the VHS static/distortion effect from Shift to something that doesn't hinder the Counselor's as much, when they are already greatly struggling. 13. Bots fill empty slots, at least in Private Games with friends. This will enable a more balanced play where you don't need 8 people to truly stand a chance. 14. Possible alternative win condition option for the last Counselor alive, a boat escape, taking down Jason, have this be where the Police come in, or something else entirely? 15. No friendly fire option, at least in Private Games. 16. Each Counselor can only be selected by 1 person (possible alternate mode). 17. Add text chat to the game, as not everyone has a mic, and a good chunk who do will likely use other programs to speak outside of the game with friends. 18. Allow the map to be opened while moving, or possibly implement a double tap of a button to enlarge the mini-map for better mobility and navigation while on the run.
  7. What do you guys think the biggest problems with the game will be on release or around release? Just out of curiousity. These forums keep me busy enough to wait for the game????
