  1. Our lovely counselors are into the game, but there's a question that's been bothering me and a few forum members for a while: Why isn't there counselor backstories into the game? We all know that our original casts consists of characters such as Tiffany, Chad, Buggzy, Eric, Deborah, Kenny, etc. But what exactly convinced them to come into Jason's playground? What convinced them to work as Camp Counselors in the summer? How did Tiffany end up sleeping with Kenny? There's so many questions that could be answered by adding background information to the characters. We need lore! What are your opinions on adding lore for our fellow counselors?
  2. What are your least favorite characters in the franchise? For me it would be: Robin Brown (Part 5): I don’t know, she just seemed annoying. Maybe it’s because her outfit reminds me of Trish’s and this chick is simply NO Trish. Rennie Wickham (Part 8): Her backstory was pretty bland, sorry but she’s lame. Sean Whateverhislastnameis (Part 8): Same as Rennie’s.
  3. Just starting off by saying I literally just joined this five minutes ago hahaha. I don’t know if anyone else would agree but I think they should add a New York Italian styled character. I picture him wearing a tight white T-shirt with rolled up sleeves tucked into a pair of jeans with a cigarette or toothpick hanging out of his mouth. He’d be from New York so obviously he’d have an accent. And for a trope I would see it as “the rebel” or “the wiseguy” or something like that. I picture him with the personality of a mix between Tony Manero from “Saturday Night Fever” or even Han Solo from “Star Wars”. He’d be a good looking guy who hits on the girls a lot, most thinking he’s charming. Although I picture him having a Han Solo and Princess Leia or Tony Manero and Stephanie type of relationship with someone like Jenny Myers, the one with her head on right and not focused on sex. Haha I even pictured the trailer being Jenny walking out of the lake in her bathing suit and This character whistling at her to where she says something like “in your dreams”, then he gets killed or something. It may sound corny but I feel like this would benefit someone like Jenny as well. Her character is rather bland and boring. I mean, yes she was advertised pretty well in the spring break dlc but after that nobody ever really talks about her. It’s probably because her stats aren’t the best, but the bottom line is her character isn’t really that big of a deal to people, even though she would be the main character if these same counselors were in a friday the 13th movie. I’d see them having a mix between a Tony Manero and Stephanie/ Han Solo and Princess Leia type of relationship to where the Italian guy would be trying to get with Jenny, but she won’t budge because she sees the Italian guy not knowing what he wants to do in life and would just be wasting her time with the cute flirts and pickup lines and remarks.(like Tony and Stephanie) but then when things hit the fan and Jason comes the both work together and she learns to care for him.(like Han And Leia at cloud city in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back) it may seem like a fan fiction it I don’t mean it to come off that way lol, just trying to get a basic understanding of how it would be, but I would see this panning out in the single player challenges, or just in the canon lore of the f13 game universe. And it would fit Jenny a lot better because it’s like when Chris and Rick were together most of the time. In general it would benefit Jenny as well as giving more character to the Italian guy. Getting that out of the way I would picture his interactions with other counselors as follows. Chad would probably be the guy to make fun of him. He may be a little defensive towards Brandon. He’s be cool with Adam, cool with Mitch, would make fun of Eric, not talk to kenny as much, neutral with Vanessa, haha would have a grand old time with Tiffany, wouldn’t talk to AJ as much, and wouldn’t even pay any mind to Deborah, He would have a Tony Manero type of attitude towards most of everyone Yeah, I know it seems something like Adam, but I just pictured something more like a full Italian guy. Someone like Tony Manero who is extremely into his Italian roots. The guy who would have an Italian flag hanging from over his bed. And plus this guy wouldn’t be so much of edgy. I don’t really see Adam as a rebel. I see him as just edgy. Like his bio states. He doesn’t take sh*t off anyone and would stand up for people getting bullied. In reality this Italian character concept probably would be the bully who Adam stands up to. What I mean by rebel is gets into trouble. Lol trust me I know he can seem like an Adam but in my head he isn’t. I tried to explain it a much as I could without it seeming like I’m becoming a motor mouth lol the reason why I say they should make this kind of counselor is because he would be an interesting one. In the seventies and eighties and even nineties, Italians were pretty big in the US, especially in parts like New Jersey(where the movies and game takes place.) back then in places like wildwood(a very famous beach in New Jersey) there would be parts on the board walk that we’re dedicated to Italians like Italian hotels, Italian restaurants, everything. People loved Italians in those days. I mean, you had tons of films like Rocky, and Saturday night fever, and The Godfather part 1 and part 2, and once upon a time in America, a mobster movie that came out in 1984 about Italians, I mean hell, there were even two Italian guys in part 5, Vinnie and Pete. This all brought Italians to peoples attention in those days. And not only that but New York City is right next to New Jersey if that wasn’t obvious enough, so the accent would fit perfectly. I genuinly want them to add this character to the game so I feel like making my own stats for the character would be personalizing it a little too much to the point where it may be unrealistically possible that they would add him, but I’ll just do it anyway to show how I picture it to be: composure: 4/10 Luck: 4/10 Repair: 6/10 Speed: 5/10 Stamina: 7/10 Stealth: 3/10 Strength: 6/10 By no means do I want this character to be personalized to me. That would be a huge “f you” to the people who donated 10,000 dollars to the game. It’s just a concept I want them to add to the game that I feel people would enjoy and like to play as. Even though it’s a concept made up by me that I know I would love to see in the game, I want it to be realistic to the game so it doesn’t look silly and out of place. I love this game and would like to see it grow, this game got me into watching all the friday the 13th films and now I love the franchise. If anybody of importance to the game sees this, I hope you can see the pros to adding this character to the game, I’m positive he would be a favorite by many people. I do have a name in mind for the character but I doubt it would be the actual name for the character if they add him. “Tommi Sollozzo” Tell me what you guys think,
  4. Player should be able to create their own characters. They can change body size, hair (color), eyes, eyebrows, skin tones, choose their characters traits (like athletic, nerdy, brave, coward, determined, friendly, snitch, backstabber, selfish, etc). This would not only contribute to my other ideas for the game but it will attract more buyers. People like to make characters if you haven’t noticed. And you can keep the original ones just Incase some people just really don’t care. Also for the cut scene, all of the created characters should be sitting in the circle by the camp fire. When one of them is grabbed by Jason that player becomes Jason. Instead of showing the player’s Jason, since a lot of people play as the same Jason and are disappointed when they get their hopes up and they’re not chosen. (I know from my own personal experience). There is also a lot of glitches that prevent Jason from grabbing players or prevents player from moving. Like in the main house there’s a glitch in the bottom part of house In the Jarvis House. Players can’t move on behind the couch and neither can Jason. So either the player is trapped and gets killed or Jason is teased by the players for not being able to grab them. And another feature is multiple players on one screen. Games like Call Of Duty or Left 4 Dead branched out into multiplayer versions. Like I’m my house my friends come over and it’s so annoying to pass the controller back and forth because we each want a turn. I don’t know. There could be better ways to explain my ideas I have tons more. But here’s the less complicated ones.
  5. These are some costumes I'd like to see in game, they all have roots in horror and some would just be fun to run around in. Adam Palomino - Cult Robes, dark green with black trim, hood down. Ceremonial weapon on belt. A.J. Mason - Hospital pants, open backed gown or bathrobe. Slippers and left wrist has a bracelet from Westin Hills. Brandon "Buggzy" Wilson - Cult Robes, dark green with black trim, hood down. Ceremonial weapon on belt. Chad Kensington - Priest outfit, complete with collar. It's a horror classic, and it fits in a weird way. Deborah Kim - Cult Robes, dark blue with black trim, I know she didn't pay to be in the game like the other Cultists but they need some female representation. So she can be a new recruit to the 'Cult of the 13th', secret worshippers of Voorhees. Eric "J.R." LaChappa - Cult Robes, dark green with black trim, hood down. Has coils of rope on his belt for tying down sacrifices. Fox - Gypsy fortune teller, the classic crystal ball type, blue skirt, white blouse, red shawl. Tarot cards hanging in a mesh bag from her belt. Jenny Myers - Human Sacrifice, white dress with flowers in her hair. Leather cuffs, anklets, collar, and belt with loops for tying her to an alter. Kenny Riedell - Cult Robes, dark red with black trim, hood up covering his head. Some Mark of Status ie. badges in human sacrifice, recruiting innocents and cult leadership. Mitch Floyd - Wearing tattered rags, looks like he's been held captive for weeks/months, dirty hands and bare feet. Shelly - wearing the Hockey Mask, come on this would be so cool. Even if I have to take it off Jason and instead of going in my inventory, Shelly wears it. Tiffany Cox - Nun, with full habit. Not overtly complicated but kinda funny. Vanessa Jones - Brujah(witch) practitioner of Vodun(voodoo), loose skirt and leg wrappings, GrisGris bag and classic voodoo doll pinned to her belt. Upper body is painted with a crop top over the arcane symbols. So what do you all think, worth a couple of bucks?
  6. I think it would be good if one of the new counsellors coming soon was basically a male Tiffany, similar stats and stuff and that he would actually be handsome since atm kenny is the best looking male.
  7. So in the general discussion forum there is a post about what people think about a motorcycle escape. I think it is a great idea personally. I am also posting this here in the suggestion, well because that is what it is and I have extended ideas on the matter. I also link the original motorcycle post in the bottom. I have searched threads to see where this thought I have will go, maybe someone can place it for me or direct me. Here it is: Add the motorcycle escape, but also have different repairs for things. Like perhaps 3 motorcycle escapes but they require different parts or have different problems. Such as repair tire like they used to have in the game. Fix brake line (could use the wrench weapon but when taken to bike a mini-game pops up to repair). Fill Gas, Keys, Headlight, etc. There could be various options and then it wouldn't be ridiculously fast or easy to get out even if they each only had 2 repairs because you'd have to find the corresponding vehicle. Same goes with car escapes, I feel having different repairs could be fun and would stop people complaining about me putting battery/gas in 2 seat car when I found it there. Also along with different repairs, the different repair characters would be better at certain things. Not trying to be a person that judges, but Deb and Eric look like book smart people that don't typically work on cars so maybe they aren't as good at the mechanical repairs but are still great at electrical such as fuse, generator, battery and things like that. Then make AJ and Adam better at the mechanical repairs such as(if added) Tires, brakes, perhaps door or just anything that would feel more true to their characters. Just some thoughts and I think it'd be fun and they already had the tire thing in the game before so i don't think it'd be hard to put in. I know people will destroy this suggestion as they do most things on here. Again, if you know of a similar suggestion and this belongs somewhere else please let me know, I looked and couldn't find it. Here is the discussion in the General Discussion Forum:
  8. Map Ideas: The Hospital from Part 5. The Ship from Part 8. The Spacecraft from Part 10. The town Springwood from Freddy V. Jason. Characters: Play as any character that was a killer in one of the movies. Basically have a killer for each Jason movie. Spawns: Don't spawn in or around Fuse house. Anyone worth their wit goes directly to fuse house as Jason and if you're spawned there and they aren't reasonable you spend 20 minutes spectating. Possibly make it to where Fuse house isn't on Jason's map, that could fix this issue. Also perhaps taking the cars off of Jason's map until they are started or he marks them in some way. I know people want to lower Jason's abilities because he is so OP, but I think removing these things from his map would create great balance. Ideas: Have at least one pocket knife per trap Jason spawns with. If it's the Jason with 7 traps, there should be 7 knives. Maybe work on Jason's ability to block flares and firecrackers and perhaps work on his grab range, it's pretty crazy. Counselor swing should not be canceled by Jason grab. Perhaps force more water interaction as in place propeller or gas or the boat itself on an island in the lake so Jasons with better water stats are used because counselors are forced to get in the water. Also with that, give the counselors some type of defense in the water. Maybe make each Jasons music different to add a little fun, like dueling banjo music for Part 2. haha I doubt this will be read by the developers but I do think this is a list of some pretty good thoughts. I constantly think of more ideas for this game and they aren't all about me getting angry and making it easier, some are creative. Thanks for the game though. Literally the only game I play and the reason I even bought a new gaming system. Greatest game I think I've ever played.
  9. I was thinking of a Toxic Avernger Jason with a mop as a weapon. He kind of looks like Jason. Does anyone have any other ideas?
