  1. To explain the title better, there are two types of grab kills you can do as Jason: Environmental (you have to walk up near a buttom prompt area while strangling a counselor) and Non-Environmental (just need enough space for certain types; can be used anywhere otherwise). The two most notorious grab kills in the game are Choke as well as Head Punch. These can be done almost everywhere, and they are popular because of their quickness as well as not needing a great deal of space in order to use. As a result, many Jason players who want to be efficient use these two almost exclusively which has drawn backlash. An idea I had would be that all the non-environmental executions can only be used once in a match. This would mean you can still use fast executions if you wanted, but it also would be limited; you'd have to make careful decisions when you grab someone. Pros Grip Strength becomes a more relevant strength/weakness, especially once you run out of non-environmental kills to use. Makes matches more interesting by forcing Jason to vary up his choices. Most of the Jasons players unlock early do not have grip strength as a weakness, making it easier for beginners to use environmental kills. Composure/Strength becomes more useful as time goes on if Jason runs out of non-environmental kills to use; counselors stand a better chance of breaking free, especially if Jason has a weakness in grip strength. Cons Players will need to invest in non-environmental kills early on, otherwise they will be forced to use environmental kills since they only start off with Choke (which could get tricky if you aren't near any once you grabbbed a counselor). Grip strength may have to be adjusted, which could take some time for the developers to do. If you have a particular non-environmental kill you enjoy/prefer, you only get to use it once in a match. To me, the pros outweight the cons. I'm not against players using particular executions because of their efficiency, but it does get kinda boring watching the same executions repeatedly, and this would be a great buff for counselors with high composure (making this stat more relevant than it is now).
  2. I was playing a match and died, bringing me to spectate mode. While spectating I saw a Jason get shot, fall down, then t-bagged. When Jason got up, the person just got away. This isn't the Jason we all know and love, he wouldn't just get up and not do anything about it. Jason is always looking for a kill, and I say, while he's down on the floor from a stun, if he gets up (not all the way; just picking his upper body up) and someone is near him, you could get an E prompt to grab them and do some damage to them or something of the sort. Thoughts?
  3. First off I am loving the game greatly its a lot of fun to play with people, but I do have suggestions for fixes, besides matchmaking and bugs. First and foremost, I think the games greatest strength and weakness is its Executions Jason can perform, They look cool, you feel deadly, but they are used way to frequently to the point that a good Jason player will abuse this system for an easy win. It makes surviving a grab pretty much impossible unless you have a pocket knife. I have learned one rule as a camp councilor, Don't get caught, and if you have a pocket knife, still don't get caught. Most Jason players I have seen, just grab and execute as soon as it lets them, the extra points is not incentive enough to use environmental kills, but I do have a suggestion to fix this, and make the break free and combat stance a little more viable. Make executions available to use on low health opponents. So that for one, Jason will need to actual use his swing, and two give the other players a chance to actually break free. Also this will incentive the Jason player to seek out environmental kills. Since you should keep these as an instant kill. Hopefully this will help the surviving players to actually survive, and make Jason use some tactics other than Shift to target and grab followed by immediate execute. Shift I think also needs some work on Cool downs, but I'm still uncertain with that. Lastly, We should have a reliable way to dodge a grab from Jason, I noticed most Jasons wont really try to fight, when they can just grab atm, but this might be fixed if executions are based on health and not on Just a grab and a cool down. One last suggestion, allow exp to be awarded to players who die, for every player that escapes, I normally will play the martyr and sacrifice myself to let others escape, so I should get some martyrdom points lol, but that is your choice.
