  1. Yeah, fear affects stam regeneration. And Chappa gets scared pretty fast, Nerves of steel will help alot. And marathon shouldn't really help as much as it does, I mean 15% on what a 2 or something? But, it does. Alot! And with restful to keep that stamina topped off. That's my build on Chappa, Mitch and Deb. Used to use thickskin all the time, but now only against really good Jason players. And I'll drop restful for it on any counselor under a 7 stamina. But keep restful, and drop marathon for higher.
  2. A cool Lachappa build, non meta. Nerves of steel, restful and marathon. That build is on my Chappa. NOS helps stamina regeneration when Jason is near, or your fear elevates. That set up is sweet, made some Jasons scratch their head on that one. "No way he got away" Lol, try it.
  3. Nerves of steel is a great non meta pick, it really should be meta as it keeps your mini map on screen and really helps guard against fear. Restful or Marathon, anything that helps overall stamina or regeneration is good. Preparedness is good, another fear reducer helps keep you off senses and helps keep fear down.
  4. Got that right! Espe's a baseball bat, bashing your brains out kinda nightmare with anyone. But with Jenny, lights out! Stamina constantly full from those hits, and tunneling was out of the question or you would go 0 for 8 that round. Never killed you, or Espe. And yeah, Shade is great. As a counselor, and a fearsome J player too.
  5. Anyway, BoxingRogue was probably one of the best early on. When Malloy was still learning, as were we all. That guy had it, right away. Shame he bowed out, once Malloy got good he was great. A leader, and after Espe the second best looper around. So yes, @malloymk most definitely! But, I have to put Espe and him as equal. Mk isn't a fighter, but more of a leader and objective hound. Espe's a bruiser, and the best looper. Add those together and you get one MASSIVE headache! You are pretty good too @Shadesofjoe, played lots of games. And yeah shade's good, always good games! Also Gotta say Rust is pretty good as a counselor too! Vader is a beast with Jenny, so is Alien#6. Luck, JoeH, Pioneer, Lassie, The Freds. And many more, they all bring something to the lobby. And if you're cool to us, we will help out anyone.
  6. Gotta say you were pretty good too! Probably top five on my list when you played, back in the scream team days definitely! EspeXspe was a beast too, but you killed me quite alot with the stalk/shift grab combo. Some of my best jump scares came from you, Rust, and Vader.

  8. This right here! All the best J players never claim it, it's the ones who talk about their greatness that get beat. As far as all the stuff that you stated above, yeah like I said you killed me more than any other player because of those reasons. It's why whenever we go into a lobby and see that Savini in the intro there arises a collective groan from your friends. Lol, because no matter if it's your first game or last of the evening. We know there will be no quarter, no mercy. You play Jason how he should be played, utterly devoid of compassion and absolutely relentless. It's why I play, sucks to die so much. But, when I can escape you it's like a little piece of heaven. Lol!
  9. RustInPeace, he's the only Jason I fear. Only ever escaped him a couple times, maybe 5 total in well over 100 games. Mainly because he never saw me, and mostly on the boat. If he notices me, he hunts me relentlessly until I'm dead. Always a challenge, rarely beaten.
  10. Ok, just some insight here. @lasse_hei is among my best online friends, and he is an honorable man. He is frustrated because of the issues with the EU servers not working as intended and has been patiently waiting for info on the new patch for quite some time now. The only way he gets games is if one of us who are on his friends list on the US servers will invite him over, otherwise the game in not playable. Please cut the guy some slack here, he's really a great guy and always plays a clean game within the rules and helps out his team in any way possible. We all appreciate the info that is being provided in this thread, and it's just his frustration talking here. Once again thank you to @mattshotcha for providing the info when possible on the much anticipated upcoming patch for the game that we're all crazy for!

  13. Composure is already a huge factor in fear level, and directly linked to sense avoidance. The screaming of counselors is the one major flaw. Put a no fear build on Vanessa and see what I mean, as long as her fear level is minimal she will not show up on senses about 60% of the time. That's a 3 composure, granted her stealth will show sound blips. But with a 10% fear resistance bonus to both Preparedness, and NOS she can beat his senses every so often.
  14. Oh, the dolphin with laser inducing headgear weapon can only be found in barns my friend. Higgins, Pinehurst... lol! Plus, Jason weapons would function like the Jarvis family. Max stats. Put that in Chad's hand. Max stun, damage, durability... Would be great for counselors too! Unless you can't dodge the throw, which should function like throwing a knife. So you can quickly throw your weapon, the same a TK.
  15. I would have loved a weapon throw ability, if it hits it paralyzes. Each weapon would have an assigned range, the spear being the longest range weapon. Then also, scatter Jason's other weapons around the map. Weapon swap would still be great, still gives the ability to choose your starting weapon. But, once on the map you can pick up other weapons you find laying around. I can hear the screams now... "Oh god... HELP ME! SOMEBODY, PLEASE! I CAN'T MOVE!" Then you shift in and hit an X prompt to viciously retrieve the weapon, and finish them. But, if you miss. A counselor can pick up the weapon. Which would have max stats, but still function like a normal weapon for them. So, each weapon would have max stun, damage and durability. But, each weapon would still break in a counselors hands. Eventually... Jason's weapons are unmarked, and spawn at different locations. A counselor can not pick up any of these weapons at the start of the match. Not until Jason discards a weapon for another. Or, loses it on a missed throw. At that point the weapon is "Live", and will show up as a white circle in the line of sight for counselors. If one of them gets it, the weapon changes to the counselors weapon stats and will break if used by Jason again. If Jason misses a throw. Yet, can retrieve his weapon before a counselor gains possession. The weapon is unchanged. If Jason retrieves his weapon while attached to a counselor, he kills the counselor and retrieves his weapon. The weapon remains the same. And once that weapon, or a replacement weapon is back in Jason's hand. A three minute cooldown begins till he can weapon throw again. Imagine stalking a group from a distance. So, my Jason is gonna start with a spear. How about tossing the spear, right through Vanessa's thigh? Or, maybe getting closer to your prey? Grab an axe, and find a character you don't like. Then perform the axe throw, to paralyze Shelly in the middle of a pinata party? One less combatant. Unless, one of his buddies come for him. Then, that character can attempt a repair as they pull the weapon free. This hurts Shelly by pulling the weapon out, but leaves him near death (that's 2 hit points DnD fans) At that moment Jason has 2 less combatants, and a couple new options. Either go for your weapon, which is just an X prompt over the weapon to eviscerate and retrieve. As long as Jason hits X, before the character finishes the repair wheel. He kills Shelly, and has his axe in hand. Then the character you beat to the axe is nearby, and probably off guard. Or, you could Shift/grab the medic from the start for a quick kill if you have a non weapon kill equipped. Then retrieve your weapon to finish Shelly. How about a different weapon? The pickaxe. Short range, hurling end over end, to smash dead center of Chad's spine? Pretty much like the fire axe kill, but constantly active after the cooldown of three minutes. That would allow up to six! But! That cooldown only starts once the ability is used. Or when a weapon is recovered, Jason swaps weapons for something else on the map. THAT'S what I would add! Maybe if they do a sequel...
  16. All I know is I put that on Vanessa once a she seemed faster, might be because I'm used to using Jenny or Deb. Lol
  17. Whoa! Hold up! Save some for the next update, they are reworking perks and within the next couple updates should have it done. Being a 150 player you will not roll anything under uncommon I believe, maybe rare. Save some for that update!
  18. Victoria is pretty good at fixing, and speed demon helps slow the wheel down nicely. What's your minus to repair speed? I got a legendary with a -12% (the only perk I was excited to get a HIGHER negative, lol) And that boost to sprint speed is bigger than the number I think, try it on Vanessa for a good laugh!
  19. What worked for me was this, equip your best perks. Doesn't matter what perks, the best plus stat with the least minus for all three slots. Best to the left, put your cursor over the left slot then try Chad. After 7 rolls max, if you haven't got at least a rare stop! Try every counselor like that, best luck to the worst. That's the only thing that seems to work for me, good luck!
  20. Shift/slash, knife/block. Grab, choke. Lol. When it works it's hilarious, the comments you get before they die/quit are glorious. I only do this on douches who talk too much, mostly I'll finish with a cool kill if I have room and time. But if space is limited, and all I get is choke or eye gouge then that's fate. Of course, I'm not a very good Jason so when that combo works I get all tingly.

  22. No I was talking about giving Jason the damage boost so it's not just horizontal and vertical attack for Jason. When I said clicking in and slashing and clicking out I meant clicking into combat stance to get the boost.  Ahhh, ok. I see what you're talking about, that's a good point! If Jason had the same damage increase, one heavy attack from plus weapon strength would be devastating. If anything they should reduce damage for heavy for counselors, to an extra 15% instead of 50%. For both Jason and counselors, that would really hurt the kill squads. At least, all the subpar and mediocre ones.
  23. Do you mean give heavy attack a separate button/key outside of combat stance? Light attack/free swing being R2 on ps4, assign heavy to a button like that? You don't really need to, CS can be toggled in and out pretty quickly. And light attack/sidearm swing is lightly tap R2, heavy is a hard press.
