  1. Well. Okay. How about when the game runs and does its security integrity check of game files is set to ignore those files that deal with textures and meshes. To my understanding the reason why this game can't be molded is due to security checks it does for file integrity to prevent hackers. Can it be set ignores the texture and mesh files so that people can do as they please with them?
  2. Well, they do not have to add the mods. It is the consumers who purchased the game who will have the choice to add the mods they downloaded from a moders site, like Nexus. They just have to open the game to support those mods that are purely cosmetic. Like simple texture edits or meshes.
  3. Well, creating maps actually affects gameplay. I think cosmetic mods could be a good start. If the F13th team wants to expand it later on to allow people to submit maps then after revision the will add it to the game, by all means. However, for maps they will need to release a tool that the community can use with all the approved 3d elements (kind like a map editor for heroes of might and magic 4 where you can place available objects in a 3d field) so I really will not know if that will be possible. But will be awesome.
  4. I originally ask for this when the game came out, but then there was content being released for the game back to back, there was no need for it. However, currently development for this game is dead, and there are no plans for it to be resurrected. I am proposing to allow mod support as long as it is 100% cosmetic. This includes textures and 3d meshes to enhance the looks of the game or to incorporate more outfits to the existing counselors. I firmly believe that this will open up the doors to more players and bring back some of the old ones. Again, not asking for cheats and hacks, but visual enhancements to add more flavor. Will like to see what the community will make.
  5. I will really like more outfits. Heck even if it means mod support and allow moders to make more content for free as long as it is aesthetic and will not affect gameplay. I do appreciate all the much needed fixing.
  6. So my daddy's a cop has been nerfed from 30% to 25%, a very useful perk while useless perks have been improved but still useless. I will play again once I see an actual patch that benefits counselors. And while you may say we don't care if you play or not, you already purchased our product, we already made money out of you. I have you know I have plenty more to buy any DLC you can throw my way, and I gotten several people to buy the game. But with so many recent counselor nerfs I lost the motivation to play and continue doing what I was doing. Will keep my eyes open for an actual good counselor update. Cheers.
  7. Okay, here is an idea I think it will make Jason players, counsellor players, and Gun Media devs happy: Make it so that the players can adjust Jason difficulty and item spawn quantities. How it will work: whoever has control of the room can change: Jason's speed: 0%, +5%, +10%, +15%, +20% Jason's damage: 0%, +5%, +10%, +15%, +20% Jason's stun resistance: 0%, +5%, +10%, +15%, +20% Jason's scan radious: 0%, +5%, +10%, +15%, +20% Pocket knife max spawn: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 Baseball bat max spawn: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 Etc, the list goes on for the rest of the items. If the player does not like the rules in the room they can ask the room host for a change, or can opt to go into a different room, or start her/his own room and invite people in. Developers should not spend time fixing piddly disputes between counselors and Jason players. Devs should be spending their time fixing bugs and adding content.

  9. I think they should just give Jason an instant kill button from anywhere with instant recharge, so all Jason players have to do is press that button 7 times. DO IT.
  10. That would be true... if stealth worked! If you played the game as long as me you will know that for survival speed, stamina and luck are kings.
  11. I do not know but it got to the point that I can't play with my favorite characters because against skilled Jason players I have 0% chance of surviving. So I have to play as Vanessa or Chad in order to have a chance. And now they are working on taking that away. Have the Devs considered that? Maybe the reason why people play Chad so much? By the way, Jenny and AJ are my favs. But composure is useless in this game. How about fixing that for a change?
  12. Here is a factor that no one has talked about or being ignored and I think is vital. Skill sets. Sure a newbie playing Jason us going to get wrecked by experienced counselor players. Jason running from being chased by players, yes I see that a lot and that is Jason's py$$y @$$ running away from a Tommy Jarvis and a girl with the sweater, most likely because Jason player = newb. People need to learn that Jason does not have to kill everyone in every run, and they need to skill up and get better. Jason is super powerful the way he currently is. Breaking the game mechanics to accomidate new people that lack the skills will have the following negative effects: 1) Jason is going to be so easy to play that will not require any skills to play with, thus making it boring. You can pretty much play him blindfolded, how fun is that? 2) you are going to piss off your counselor playing community that is bigger than Jason. You can't accommodate for players that lack skills. I see good Jason players clearing maps in no time, those players are not the ones notching here. Learn how to darn play the game. My 2 cents.
  13. Because, without reward and having and having something to look forward to the game gets stale, and boring. Rewwards add replay value, it is good for a game that depends on social interactions to keep players playing and engaged. Playing the game is not the reward, it is what you invested your money on, reward is what you get for playing and grinding in the game. Do you see the difference hazden?
