  1. I added some new item ideas like Nail Gun, Relaxing Pills, Soda Can, and Backpack. What do you guys think?
  2. @Cash1980 @BlitzBoy526 You guys may fancy this perk list thread I made for Jason a good while back: http://forum.f13game.com/topic/12617-jason-new-perk-list/
  3. Proposed new improvements to RAGE: During Rage, Jason now receives diminishing stun immunity against all weapons except Shotguns. What this means: When Jason has Rage, each time he is stunned by a melee weapon, firecracker, bear tap, or a flare gun, his stun timer is permanently reduced by 1% for the rest of the match. This stacks and means that if you were stunned ten times during rage, you now have a 10% timer decrease on your next stun. Shotguns are not affected by this and always stun for the same amount of time no matter what. During Rage, Jason now heavily damages the car when he performs the "E" action prompt. What this means: When Jason has Rage active, he can damage the car far greater than he normally would when performing the "E" action prompt smash. After this happens, a counselor will have to perform a small QTE repair in the front of the car before it will be able to start again with the keys. During Rage, pocket knives are now weaker. What this means: Once Jason has his Rage active, a counselor who stabs him with a pocket knife will only render Jason stunned for half of the time period that it would normally stun him. During Rage, fear is now amplified. What this means: While in Rage mode, Jason now amplifies the level of fear around him much greater than he normally would. Counselors get scared easier and their fear increases faster the longer they are near Jason. The max level of fear when the counselor has a dark screen will not go away until they get away from the vicinity of Jason. Additionally, there are two new ways for Jason to acquire Rage: Jason now instantly enters Rage Mode if cops are successfully called. Jason now instantly enters Rage Mode if he is demasked.
  4. @Good Ol Ginny I agree, a scarier and more challenging mode would make this game so much more fun! Not only for me, but for the group I play with, too!
  5. With all the rising talk lately about possible game modes being added to F13 to create some new variety, I thought I would give this thread a bump.
  6. I have faith the developers will fix and improve Jason and make him just as good as the counselors, if not better. I'm not sure how many players will be playing this game after the holidays and Christmas are well over, but I hope they do changes that are good for the future of this game and not anything impulsive with the influx of the new drama. A lot of my regular buds who I used to play with a ton quit playing on PC due to linear gameplay as Jason and the path that the most recent patches have been heading towards. I really hope the next patch surprises us all and brings many of them back.
  7. In this game mode, fear and some of Jason's abilities are slightly reworked to create a very horror like experience! Jason Reworked: - Stalk is learned first instead of Sense. - Counselors no longer shriek when Jason is in the vicinity and has Stalk active. - Stalk now hides Jason's icon on the mini-map. - Stalk no longer drains if Jason is standing still. - Jason can now close unlocked doors. - Sense is now reworked: Sense no longer tells you exactly where a counselor is. Sense now lights up a giant area indicating that they are some where in the premise. - When using Shift, Jason will have a three second cooldown after he exits before he can use his weapon or grab attack. - When Jason gains the Rage ability, Stalk becomes a passive that is permanently on. - Only running Jason's (Part 2, 3, 4,) footsteps can be heard if they RUN during Stalk. - All walking Jason's (Part 6, 8, 9) emit 25% more fear than normal. - Part 7 Jason emits 50% more fear than normal. - All Jason's now have a new ability called "SURPRISE!". This ability can only be used if you are knocked down on the ground, and a counselor wanders too close to your body. By using up one throwing knife, you can press the "E" action as it prompts up and stab the counselor in their leg. ---- Fear Reworked: Here are the four current Fear levels: Level 1 - (Calm): Relaxed face. No Fear at all. Level 2 - (Nervous): Slightly widened eyes; counselor looks over their shoulder occasionally. Some Fear. Level 3 - (Afraid): Fearful face; dropped jaw; fight-or-flight posture; constant nervous glances. Substantial Fear, and makes you much more likely to stumble while running. If you are in a hiding spot, this is the point where Jason can start to hear you shriek in terror. Level 4 - (Hysterical): Full Fear. As above, but your HUD disappears. You've never been this afraid in your life before. NEW fear level additions: Level 1 (Calm): No penalties. Level 2 (Nervous): Lights up a giant area where you're in when Jason uses Sense. Level 3 (Afraid): Lights up a smaller area where you're in when Jason uses sense. 10% chance to stumble when jogging. 20% chance to stumble when running. Stamina regenerates and restores 30% slower than it normally would. Level 4 (Hysterical): Jason now can see their human shape during Sense, or a cabin will light up if you are in it during Sense. 10% chance to trip and fall to the ground when running, 20% chance to stumble when jogging, 40% chance to stumble when running. Stamina regenerates and restores 60% slower than it normally would. Weapon break rate increased by 20% when confronting Jason. Car steering and control rate during turns decreased by 15%. ---- New Lighting in Maps. - All maps are now 50% darker for counselors only in dark areas with no lights or in the woods. This forces counselor's to use their flashlights to help make them see better when not near light sources. Current Lighting Example: (In woods, not near a light source, and flashlight turned off) NEW Lighting Example: (In woods, not near a light source, and flashlight turned off) ---- NEW Items & Reworks: Flashlights - Counselors no longer start with a Flashlight equipped, they must find a Flashlight in a drawer to have access to it similar to a Walkie Talkie. Minimap - The minimap on the bottom right is now gone until you pick up or find a map. Firecrackers - Firecrackers now also light up an area in red if Jason is near by and uses Sense. Flare Gun - If shot into the air, now will also reveal all nearby fellow counselor icons on the map for 120 seconds. Will reveal Jason for 60 seconds. Medical Spray - Med Sprays no longer restore health but now instantly remove the cripple effect for 15 seconds. Medical Kit - Takes 10 seconds to bandage and stitch yourself up but it heals a counselor back to full health. Nail Gun - Can be used to further upgrade a barricade to make it more sturdy. An upgraded barricade will take four hits to break for Jasons with the +Destruction strength and seven hits for other Jasons. Toolbox - Can be used to repair a destroyed Radio and make it functional again. Relaxing Pills - Makes holding your breath last twice as long and lowers down your overall fear meter. Effects last for 120 seconds. Soda Can - Doubles your stamina regeneration rate for 60 seconds. Life Vest - Prevents the instant death of drowning from Jason when in water. One-time use. Wooden Branch - Can now also be thrown into a fire place to increase the illumination of the area and reduce fear for 60 seconds. Fire Extinguisher - If Jason is hit, it blinds his vision for five seconds and creates a big smoke screen that lasts for 10 seconds. Counselors in the smoke screen are unaffected by Jason's Sense ability. Backpack - When picked up, the counselor will wear it on their back and it will give you two extra item carrying slots. Sprint speed and stamina recharge speed will be reduced by 20%. (max of 1 per map) Doors - A locked door now takes two hits to break for Jason instead of one. ---- NEW Map Reworks: Item Icons - Item icons such as Gas, Battery, Keys, etc. only appear on the mini-map now instead of the full sized map. Counselor Icons - Fellow counselor icons only appear on the mini-map now instead of the full sized map. ---- NEW Jason Environmentals: Wire - Jason can now find a wire on the map to place at the bottom of a doorway. If a counselor walks passed it, they trip and fall to the ground. Jason can walk over the wire. Trees - Jason can now cut down certain trees by roads to make them fall to the ground on the road. This will create a small road block (it will not make the road direction unpassable) that the counselors will have to drive around which can buy Jason a couple of seconds. Windows - Broken windows from Jason now cause counselors to have a bleeding effect when they go through the window. The bleeding effect will leave a small visible trail of blood on the ground which will fade away after 60 seconds. Holes - Jason can now dig out some small holes for areas in the woods by campfires. If a counselor walks passed it, they trip and fall to the ground. Jason can walk over the holes. Tree Wires (Alternate to Holes)- Jason can now find a wire on the map to place at the bottom of a tree and connect it to another nearby tree. If a counselor walks passed it, they trip and fall to the ground. Jason can walk over the wire. ---- NEW Cops Rework: When Cops are called, Jason now enters Rage mode. (if he isn't in Rage already). Cops that are called when there is less than five minutes remaining, arrive twice as fast. (2 minutes and 30 seconds) Tommy Jarvis can no longer call the cops because they think he is crazy. ---- NEW Mask Rework: When Jason is demasked, he now enters Rage mode. (if he isn't in Rage already).

Jason can also re-activate traps that have been placed as long as they have not been triggered by a pocket knife.
  10. I've played as Jason in other games and having good reach and quick grabs is usually his thing. Maybe GunMedia can redesign his grab animation a bit to match the range if they wanted to. (just an idea)
  11. Sorry, I had no clue. I guess many players feel the same about wanting an extra game mode which is exciting!
  12. Hello all. It would be amazing if Friday the 13th could have a new additional game mode called "Realism" or "Hardcore" mode where Jason is a very scary threat and surviving as counselor's is a satisfying challenge. It's been something my group of friends and I want so bad for this game, and it would be the one mode we would never get tired of playing! We don't like how frustrating and clunky it feels playing as Jason now, while also being a little too common to survive and escape with counselors. This mode would be absolutely loved and incredible for the more hardcore players! New Realism / Hardcore Mode: (New Game Mode for F13) Minimap for players on the bottom right is disabled Any perks equipped to counselors are disabled and not active. You will not be able to tell who is dead or not when pulling up the player scoreboard (death screams in game will still be heard) Pulling up the map will not update what objectives have been complete or are currently in progress. Counselors can no longer check their map to find the location of Repair Parts that have been dropped. Music sound queue for Jason is disabled until you (or someone) spot him or see him in your sights / screen visual radius Fog will shift in and out during certain areas making surroundings slightly more ambiguous. The closest power generator to the phone now needs to be ON or repaired in addition to the phone box in order to call the police. When counselors "stumble", they now lose 10% of their stamina. Counselors can no longer escape the main road exits with the car when driving in REVERSE, and must turn around and go forward with the car to successfully escape. The car now permanently breaks and cannot be used after FIVE times of Jason smashing the car. Throwing Knives by Jason can now head shot counselors which will put them instantly in a crippled state Throwing Knives by Jason are now unblockable and cannot be blocked by a counselor that is in combat stance guarding. Please vote if you agree there should be a more challenging mode to play with friends and other like minded players!
  13. I believe Jason Part 7 needs a rework and instead of Part 7 receiving other abilities that are too common and shared with other Jason's already such as fast shift, etc. he should be given some fresh new abilities to have his gameplay be different and unique from the others. This will allow a seemingly fresh new gaming experience when playing as Part 7, give birth to brand new tactics and counter strategies (for the counselor's side). The two abilities below are an inspiration from the Part 7 film. Here are some ideas that are different from the other Jason's abilities but can be given to Jason Part 7 to make him feel fun and diverse: JASON PART 7: IDEA 1: "Grip Strength" ability in Strengths now removed. New strength ability now added called "Bleeding Lacerations". Bleeding Lacerations - Jason's melee weapon strikes with his machete now cause a "bleeding" effect on a successful non-blocked strike to a counselor. Bleeding effect causes a counselor's health to drain very slightly over time and immediately enter a "cripple" movement state for ten seconds. The gradual health reduction through bleeding is non-lethal and cannot kill a counselor on it's own. Using a med spray on a counselor while in the "bleeding" condition will remove the debuff status immediately. Why? Reasons: - Jason Part 7 has the slowest movement and map control out of all the Jason's in the entire game. He has a weakness in his teleport (Morph), a weakness in his Shift (slow), the least amount of traps available to contain objectives, and he also cannot Run. With Jason Part 7 having this new unique buff on his melee attack, not only would it make him a menacing threat with his Machete (homage to the movie), but it would force respect and coordination from the counselor's when he does happen to get in close and he will be better rewarded for his struggles in closing the distances. IDEA 2: "Water Speed" ability in Strengths now removed. New strength ability now added called "Compact Flesh". Compact Flesh - All weapons that hit or are blocked by Jason have double break rate, effectively halving their overall durability. Why? Reasons: - As mentioned earlier above with many of the weaknesses and shortcomings that Jason Part 7 has when it comes to overall map control and general mobility, Jason will need an added form of some pressure in the nature of a defensive ability. This essentially will make Jason Part 7 a pseudo tank allowing him to soak up counselor's weapon durability if they choose to battle the slow monstrous behemoth. Since running away and juking Part 7 is a severe weakness, he will need an extra layer of tension when the time comes to fight and this will reward the Jason player for the short times battle engages VS counselor's do happen. Thoughts? Opinions?
