  1. Couple of other phone options: 1) Introduce an environmental kill where Jason pulls the phone from the wall and strangles a counselor with the cord, simultaneously disabling the phone permanently 2) Locate the phone in another nearby cabin, not the one with the box, making it tougher to complete the objective unless you coordinate with another counselor. i.e. Back story being that the box is a central exchange and Jason has already destroyed all other cabin phones but missed one.
  2. Like the idea, but perhaps tweak it...so in the same way as Jason develops rage over time it would be good to reveal the map over time. i.e. After 5 mins the phone / cars become visible to Jason.
  3. This is not just a PS4 issue...I had it several times the other day on PC. Only fix was for a counselor to stun me...then worked for a few minutes. Happened again a few minutes later so forced to quit.

  5. Agree this one is maddening. Same issue with drawers in toilets where counselors cannot open drawers without closing the door and moving slightly away from the drawers due to other objects in room
  6. Surely the best way to fix this problem is to pass on the Jason batten - so if Jason RQ's, DC's or goes AFK for a period there should be an invisible lottery (favoring dead players) enabling someone else to become Jason.
  7. Should just remove retro Jason...what a waste of time and effort. Whilst it was a "freebie" I reckon is it was the developers way of thumbing their noses at everyone whinging about various game issues...as in "if you think you got it bad, look how bad it could have been"
  8. Still waiting on a fix for this. Got a Windows 10 PC running Radeon R9 380 with current drivers. This happens at least once every 3-4 games, typically when I finally get Jason, but also often as counselor.   9. Personally prefer a Pool cue so that camp counselors can go all Shaun of the Dead on Jason's ass.
  10. Agree with the Ping issue. Ideally there needs to be a ping cap where people with a high-ping are bumped to another game. Also, really need to do something about the second-stage load where you can get stuck for ages with someone loading in; really need a timeout here to prevent the game getting stalled and having everyone quit due to one slow-loader. Also agree that need a mute all option. But would also be great to have a text-chat option similar to Left for Dead 2 By far the biggest issue for me is the toxic little turds that join a game simply to grief and kill their own team-mates; which seems to be happening more and more in recent weeks. I reckon the best way to deal with these idiots, until there is a kick option, is to have melee damage against another counselor only count the first time they hit you...after that the blows are not registered; so they can take pot shots all they like without dealing any damage and ruining the game. You still have the gun issue where it is a one-shot kill, but those are few and far between in the game so hopefully their damage options are limited; though I guess you could always have the gun explode in their face if they have already killed / injured a team member then try to shoot another. The other thing that needs an urgent fix is to have kill counts register for Jason immediately to stop those individuals that rage and leave the game as soon as the animation kicks in, robbing Jason of the kill count.
  11. Some thoughts on additional kill options for F13: Car - If battery is not yet installed Jason could slam the body under the bonnet and repeatedly slam the lid until the counselor is dead. If the battery has already been installed Jason could slam the counselor through the windshield. Both options have the potential bonus of forcing an extra step on other counselors of having to remove the body before they can repair the car and escape. Boat - If the boat has been fully repaired Jason could stun the counselor then start the engine and force the counselors face into the propeller Baths - For baths with a shower curtain, Jason could wrap the shower curtain around the counselors face and suffocate them Locked Doors - We already have the head slam for unlocked doors, but it would be great to add a battering ram for locked doors where Jason can use the counselor as a battering ram and smash through locked doors (or breakable internal walls). Well - How about including a Well, where Jason can send the counselor headfirst to a watery grave? Generator - Smash a counselor headfirst into a generator to permanently disable generator and kill counsellor - shocking Road Signs - Rip those Stop signs out the ground and impale a counselor with them Harpoon - need I say more
  12. Agree this needs to be fixed however I would like it to go one step further. Upstairs window = instakill Downstairs window = should be an injury event (unless the player is already injured in which case you can get the install-kill). By making this an injury event, rather than an insta-kill, it would add realism. At the same time it potentially provides the counselor with an escape from a cheap kill, and Jason an opportunity to play with his prey before a final brutal kill.
  13. When I say realism...I mean the game does a fantastic job of building tension through the combination of game-play and audio. Whilst the premise is somewhat outlandish, and setting aside the supernatural abilities for a moment, if a crazy psychopath was hunting you IRL in the woods the last thing on your mind if you managed to escape would be giving said psycho a facial bum-dance...rather you would be getting away as fast as you can then relieved that you survived the night.
  14. Lets not...and say we did! Really hate this idea, it would strip any realism from the game and just encourage a bunch of douche-baggery.
