Legal Claim and the Road Ahead
lHeartBreakerl replied to wes's topic in About Friday the 13th: The Game
This community astounds me sometimes. "All content now and future has been canceled" is a polite way of saying that the game is dead. But there's still some people.. -
Is the Game over now?
lHeartBreakerl replied to Frighteningicon's topic in Friday the 13th: The Game General Discussion
That's the best thing to come from this game. I've met some of the most genuine, honest, and kind people through this community and it's the only thing I'm truly thankful for from this game. -
Is the Game over now?
lHeartBreakerl replied to Frighteningicon's topic in Friday the 13th: The Game General Discussion
No, but there's a lot more that they're responsible for. Illfonic does the programming, coding, and all around development (poorly) but Gun steers them in the direction. -

Gun media shouldn't have the rights to another major horror franchise ever. -
Legal Claim and the Road Ahead

Rip F13: the game. Showed promise and potential but was cut short by a law suit and an amateur development team. -

Reread my post, hit the submit button a little too early. They could support the game, but there's no money in it with zero future content. Doesn't make sense from a business standpoint. -

It's dead. This bloody disgusting article was a good way to ease the community to the news that they'll be pulling the game off life support. -

I gotta say, this is shocking. It might finally be safe to say "RIP F13: the game". Without future content this game is dead in the water. Fixes or not. It's been fun. -
I don't think I've ever seen another game where the community is asking the developers to skip a patch because it breaks more than it fixes yet again. It's truly astounding. I honestly can't be upset about it anymore. And looking back at gun/Illfonic track record we really should've seen this coming before launch. They fumbled their way into the F13 license and capitalized on the name. We've been watching these amateurs promise, fail, and repeat over and over again. At one point I thought this game could be perfect, but that was a long time ago. Now I just want the game to work, and I don't know if that will ever happen.

How dare you . . .
lHeartBreakerl replied to Poormetheus's topic in Friday the 13th: The Game -- Suggestions/Feedback
Well said, all valid points, but I doubt we'll see significant changes. It's a shame. -
Terrordrome : Reign of the Legends
lHeartBreakerl replied to The Wolf with that Toast's topic in Other Games Discussion
Looks cool. I'd like to give it a shot eventually. But my dreams of an official fighting game with movie licensed killers are still just dreams. Shame. First game was great though. Nice to see pumpkinhead get some love whenever possible. -

That can work too. Anything to mitigate the effect of Jasons proximity boom box is fine by me.
