  1. Well.. the end times are upon us.

Back from a bears style vacation. I knew this would happen, just didn't expect it so quickly.. there's a few things I'd like to say, and a few people I'd like to thank.

First off, I want to give a special shout out to @Risinggrave. You're one of the first people I talked to on these forums and my experience with the game wouldn't of been the same without you. I've spent many, many hours in this game but most of it was with the crew.

    Speaking of, I want to thank @TheHansonGoons, @Brigadius, @Riot_Dame, @Tattooey, @Thatguyinktown, @Rexfellis, @Zaneygrrl, @Alien_Number_Six, @SnakeSound222, @Truth (we're waiting btw), @Slasher_Clone, @gtdjlocker311, @Deadlytaco88, @Smitty_Voorhees, @R.J MacReady, @i-cold, @Corkenstein, @VoorheesAJollyGoodFellow, @Splatterhouse, @DamonD7, @Cokeyskunk, @Davidt, @Nothingface, @RKSDooM, @MichaelMemers, and @Dolemite, @2moar, @Impactedmedal38, @LadySansaLannister, @Ban_All_Music

I've met a lot of people on these forums and through this game. I know I'm missing a lot of people, but you'll know if you belong on this list. For each person above I mentioned, each one of you has affected my experience with the game in a positive light. And I will always be Thankful for that.

These forums have devolved into a nasty beast.

I want to clear something up first. I love this game. If I didn't, I wouldn't of spent this many hours jnto it. Not only in game, but on the forums. It just makes it that much more.. heartbreaking, if you will. The recipe for success was here. Fun gameplay, a huge IP, and the community was already here. Guess thats what happens when there's amateurs in the kitchen..

Before I sign off for good, I want to take a moment to thank our fallen comrades as well. There's been so many gone in a month. And even though they may not see it, I want to thank them as well.

    @bewareofbears, @AldermachXI, @BrokenFattHardy, @Super Ty, @Alkavian, @jameson87, @Shes.A.Rebel.88, @Freddie Mercury, @Maddogg_8121, @thatdudescott, @Ghostboy20, @AdmiralJT, @Corkenstein, @R.J MacReady

It's been a pleasure guys. Maybe under a different studio, we wouldn't be here today. But this isn't the end of the road for a lot us.

    Can't wait for the 13th.

Has anyone visited the f13game website at anytime from launch to today? If you have, do you remember seeing the section that showed a weekly challenge image. weekly-events-mob.jpg

This is possibly my favorite example of what will never come. Pretty embarrassing for them. That's been up since August of 2017.

Sad thing is, there really isn't a decent assymetrical horror game on the market anymore. Dead by daylight being just straight up boring and repetetive imho. Only one hope is that the Summer Camp game can deliver

Last year is another one. Looks kinds goofy though. There's another game about to enter kickstarter called "killer". But you should be skeptical of any game made by a youtuber.

the sad thing is that devs dont have nothing to do with the censorship in this forum, they abandoned this forum  in fact, the guy called "Truth" in the only one deleting threads he doesnt like

Truth doesn't have the authority to delete threads. Only mods and devs do.

Yeah sorry, my opinions are highly controvversial

How scaaary, I won't be able to express my opinions about a corpse anymore

For what it's worth, you're probably right. Bastards had to of known about this ahead of time and an engine upgrade was the perfect way to stall.

Don't feel bad though. Threads are being locked and deleted left and right. Don't know what the point of policing a dead forum to the point of censorship is. But whatever I guess.

I don't see many console players wanting them badly at this point anyway. Yeah, maybe a year ago when the future of the game still seemed relatively optimistic, but at this point it's kind of a 'why bother?'

Exactly. A year ago I was all aboard the dedicated server train. I was expecting them at launch (as it was promised) and I gave the devs shit for them not being implemented.

Here we are in June of 2018. Games been declared KIA, but they're still working on servers.

    Amateurs, man..

Pretty much this. It's been a year with a bunch of different excuses for dedicated servers.  They are at this point just trying to save face.

It'll be marked under the "big promises we kept" category. I had a list of all the promises they didn't keep, but the thread was deleted. Go figure.

Once we launch console dedicated servers, our resources will be able to focus exclusively on player facing issues. With no content being added, we should have fewer new issues arise, which will allow us to work solely on reducing the overall list of game impacting bugs.

Funny. The community has been asking for exactly this since may of last year.

Good to see it finally happening. It's a shame that it's most likely too little too late.

  7. BoB, a lot of people here won't miss you but many more will. You've been here since pretty much the beginning and have constantly interacted with the community. Not many developers fail to recognize crucial members, but if anyone here deserves recogniton it'd be you.

    Enough flattering.

It's a shame things turned out this way. Feels like forever ago we were talking about how we were excited to talk about new content instead of the bugs and glitches, but the conversation never evolved beyond that.

You and @Brigadius bullshit banishments really pissed me off. All in an attempt to silence high profile members before a game breaking patch. But I guess we saw how well that worked out for them :)

I hope to still see you on here from time to time. Place wouldn't feel right without you.

    Take care man.

After the recent news, most of my questions have been answered, but one...Will there still be double xp weekends, or is that something that has been put on hold too?

Shit, at this point double xp may as well be permanent for the forseeable future.

I don't get why people don't understand that. No matter how great a game is or how many people continue playing, eventually it will be shut down. This is why ALL games need to have a single player/offline mode.

Every game inevitably dies. I dont think we were expecting it this soon though.

Hopefully this isn't the "end all be all" of F13 games and we get another with a similar concept but with different studios manning the helm.

But that's wishful thinking. After all, the last game was on the NES.
