  1. Played yestterday and a player did it to me as Jason,, main house... again,   he faced the corner in the room upstairs and used the knife glitch, when I grabbed him .... boom he was gone, I thought this was fixed along with the other way to get up there, so for all you Jason’s out there, don’t grab anyone that is facing a corner in that house.... SLASH, SLASH and SLASH some more..

also I think ther aren’t enough knives around the maps sometimes, I barely killed another cheater the other day looking for knives around the map while he sat in the Jarvas map exploit(The blue house).

As I’ve said before, it will take away from more beneficial perks that I use. Sucker punch, man at arms and double healing. I wish they would let you use more perks, maybe one or two more making it 4 or 5 perks. I have all my perks set up to make each counselor stronger in certain weak areas already and I took lots of time lining them all up and getting them to work out perfectly. It should make it alil easier on conselors with a boost just like they helped Jason with not getting “bullied” and he can’t get stunned in rage. It should be the same for counselors. Give them a boost in a weak spot or make their strengths a bit stronger to help them. I feel it’s fair

The perks you use shows that most likely your playing style is to fight Jason , the perks are there if you want more stamina,  the old saying.. you cant have your cake and eat it too, applies here.

I played the game since launch bud, and I’m level 110. You’ve got nothing on me, besides if you saw me play you wouldn’t be saying that.

    1. I’m not a kid(by the way you talk it’s obvious you are, or maybe you just aren’t very smart/ or eat to much soy because only the weak want things easy(naaaa you a little kid

    2. I was a kickstart backer

    3 I’m a level 150 and have been over a year now

    4. 9 times out of 10 I clear the lobby

    5. Virtually every one of your posts are complaining about not being able to beat up Jason

Honestly man they should just go back to the way it was before, but I guess the devs just had to pander to the demographic of terrible Jason players who always cried about getting stunned and never got good. I occasionally got stunned as Jason, but I never went to the extreme lengths of crying about it and asking for a buff.

The game should go back to the way it was before..... yep.... the way it was at LAUNCH, I was a kickstart backer and played this game from the 1st minutes it hit, you obviously have no idea what game I was sold and what it was like at launch, the devs catered to Crybabies who never watched an f13 movie so wouldn’t know how stong Jason is supposed to be , the devs should be ashamed of themselves on how long they let this go on.

There used to be balance, but now it’s just absurd. Also, killing Jason is now even more difficult. You have to stun him with two shotguns, and then make a quick change to a machete since he’d be in rage mode at that time. Another thing is, they should add more shotguns or at least somewhat of a counter to this new change. Since it just seems outright impossible to deal with Jason’s new rage mode.

LOL! When was there balance? Are you talking about chain stunning Jason and dancing on him for 20 minutes? Yea you are one of those players 100% also Jason is EASIER to kill now not that it was ever y hard , your posts  are funny.....  did you play this game at Launch?, Jason was much more OP, instead of complaining about not being able to have dance party’s (we all know that is what you like to do) play the game and practice fixing things, maybe set traps, learn how to run.

I used to clear lobbies consistently, now I only average 3-4 kills because Everybody else just leaves the game about 5 minutes in. I just left a game as Jason not even 5 minutes ago due to only having 2 kills with 2 counselors remaining, the rest of the lobby just kept leaving one after another. Am I mad about it? No. Because if nothing has been accomplished within the first 5-7 minutes you might as well just leave the match because once rage hits you WILL NOT survive even the most average Jason player so why wait when the outcome is inevitable.

Enjoy guys, Jason has training wheels now even 5 year olds can clear an entire lobby of day one skilled players. The time we all spent crafting our skills mean nothing.

‘Crafting skill? Sorry to break it to you,  but beating on Jason didn’t take any skill before this patch , it’s still just as easy to beat him to a pulp  before he hits rage and  still just as easy till kill him as it always was. Now I figure you are just one of those people who, actually thought that beating and killing Jason made you good at this game....  again..... sorry to break it to you..... it didn’t. If you “crafted your skill” (which I find hilarious, this game is not exactly complex or designed to be competitive) you wouldn’t have a problem escaping.

You do realize that it was never intended to not be be able to kill Jason during rage right? It was an accidental screw up of the patch.

Yes I do, but did I they need to rush a patch for people who want to have it easier to kill Jason? The game was playing fine, they should have taken their time, not being able to kill Jason the whole match doesn’t break anything

Freeing counselors from Jason in his grab is kinda suicide now at this point when he is in rage mode so no Tommy wouldn’t really be able to save anyone because Jason can either slash or grab someone else again. So it ruins his chances at saving counselors. And If Jason really doesn’t want to deal with  Tommy he can cut all the power. I think what they could do is visually show where the Tommy house is and it can be a new objective for Jason to control. I don’t see why you see it as such a huge problem for only 1 person to have the power to stun Jason in rage.... Did you see Tommy running for his life in the movie from Jason? No Tommy was never afraid to step up to Jason and fight him. Hell, even as a little boy Tommy stepped up to him. And believe me, I’ve done a lot of thinking about this patch and adjustments necessary for it. I’m sure a lot of others see my perspective on where I’m coming from. This change is necessary and I’m going to try my best to make it happen.

LOL! You joined here Wednesday so you fit in with the others who just joined to cry... sorry but it’s true, good luck on doing your best to have the devs change it.

This was the whole point of the patch. You can see how well it is working with all of the posts crying about it.

I don't see the problem either... but trolls will cry a river of tears when someone makes it harder for them to annoy people.

I also enjoy binging this game and have been a fan of the movies before part 2 was even conceived... and I agree, it is quite refreshing to see some progress in making it harder to bully or kill Jason as was intended with this patch.

I still have not noticed a difference with the patch myself. My only two games so far as Jason (since the patch) everyone had already escaped or been killed before I was put into rage. But I will be jumping head first back into Crystal Lake shortly.

He can help them escape, he can free them from Jason's grip... he is also the best counselor at repairing in the game being the only one with 10 luck and 10 repair... and there is no better counselor to kite Jason with to waste his time while everyone else escapes. Try an use your head... thinking is a thing.
The patch was meant to make it harder to kill Jason as was originally intended. WAY too many people are crying because they thought they were good at something that I managed to do on my second day playing the game... and now it has been made only slightly more difficult. In case you have not heard, the hot fix is already out and you can drop Jason to his knees when he is in the sweater stun in rage again... so it is still only slightly harder to do something that was incredibly easy to do before.

Your last paragraph hit the nail right on the head, killing Jason is one of the easiest things to do on this game, far to many people pride themselves on doing something so easy, my guess is that they are horrible at games that are 100% combat such as mortal kombat (I’m getting 11 the second it comes out)

Firecrackers would be good, I think there’s 3 or 4 shotguns per map plus Tommy’s. Unfortunately shells would be new content.

I’m not comfortable with giving Tommy the ability to stun Jason, you could maybe convince me of a sole survivor getting a 50% stun chance rather than Tommy though. Talk more about it later.

Firecrackers would not be good, people need to set traps behind doors, and learn how to evade Jason without using a weapon , I hope the devs don’t give into this

And there only seems to be about six or so people defending your stance. Why do you have to undermine people just because they don't want to play like you do. He might troll, might not, I don't know. What I do know is I don't troll, and I don't like nullifying combat in the last half of the game. It's fine because when all you have are lobbies of Vanessas beating the shit out of you first half of the match, then disconnecting just to troll you for real. We will see how you feel.

My point was that you are in a minority, the huge spike of people who have been playing online since this patch will say otherwise. Fact  is, the game is changed,  if you like playing it you will adapt, I personally like this change, for me it was boring being a counselor,  much to easy to escape and beat on Jason , now when I play I know I only have a certain amount of time to do objectives(something a majority of the people who don’t like this patch probably don’t do) if not I know it’s going to be hard, and I like things being hard.

its the Jasons who were the tryhards

LOL!!! You have that in reverse, if you haven’t noticed, that there are only about 4 people including yourself that are whining , you joined this forum just to whine,  your stun/dance part is over, your legendary double sprays/sucker punch/thick skin etc... Don’t matter...........  if you don’t fix things you die, Plain and Simple..... I LOVE IT!

What you mean to say are lvl 150's that backed the game from the beginning. You know, the ones who put up the money to create the game you want them to leave. If ever there was a troll comment, this is the one.

I am a level 150 and am also a kickstart backer,  and the game I was sold was a game where the devs said that Jason was going to be very OP, in which he was at launch, he  has been nerfed in one way or another in EVERY single patch except ONE where he got a speed minimal  increase(which was taken away without being mentioned)  Thos game became a stun dance party for trolls, now Jason is feared again , like he should be, il,take it anyway they give it.

Lets be real.... Jason has been a joke for a long time,  the only thing that has changed before he hits rage is his damage to more than one counselor in a group,  If. Knocking jason on his butt and dancing for  20 minutes  is your thing(I’m speaking in general) you can do it, but only for 10 minutes, I’m personally glad Jason is feared again.

thank you, exactly my point. This patch punishes some of the most dedicated players

@Kodiak I think from your words you are assuming I am a nasty exploiter... it is really not like that. By fighting Jason I help EVERYBODY to do their stuff and escape, because I end up keeping Jason busy for a good amount of time, how is that wrong? And again I never said I want Jason to be weak, I want Jason to be pwoerful but with a change of stunning him not an unstoppable tank

Everything that you write insinuates that you want and are used to Jason being weak get over it.
