    Hidden books in cabins

Darrin, Jason's a psychopathic killer not a witch.
  2. Jason's only real power is his uncanny ability to not die. The only reason I mention possession is that it happened in one of the movies even if that movie wasnt really in line with the others. Being so radically different from the others it can easily be disregarded but the possession could add to the gameplay. Thus, the reason I mentioned it. Jason has nothing to do with the occult. If you want that wait for a Halloween game. Those movies were all over the place and will satisfy your occultist fever.
  3. But as a gameplay mechanic would it be worth having? Would it add to the suspense and horror? Maybe it could be only a Jason 9 ability, but then that would kinda ruin the suspense because you would be expecting it.
  4. That's because they tried to explain his abilities and bring them into the realm of reality. But to be honest I thought the movie was enjoyable but hardly scary. However, I wouldn't want anything to do with cyborg Jason. That's literally a death machine.
  5. Lets get back to the actual topic and a serious discussion. He may be most peoples least favorite Jason but in terms of adding to intriguing gameplay this would definitely qualify and add some extra suspense and horror because you wouldn't know if you could even trust your fellow counselors.
  6. Oh Yeah. Maybe if Jason finds a magic tome he can gain the ability. *I'm not sure how to express sarcasm so I'll just say I'm being sarcastic.
  7. Another thought Jason could use it to escape if the cops are called then kill the cops thereby eliminating an escape route.
  8. I agree jgth is probably the one I like the least. But, might add for some interesting gameplay. Counselor Jason walking around slaughtering the unexpected. All off a sudden you're in a locked room with a would be ally when his possession timer expires and he comes bursting out of your friend leaving the husk of your fallen comrade on the floor.
  9. I open a discussion about Mark in the suggestion section and you lock it. Just because you think it's not worth discussing. Maybe it was a stretch goal doesn't mean it won't be added at a later date. And anyway who cares if it's added or not it's a discussion to create ideas. You should think about your actions so you don't unintentionally diminish this forum. My Mark thread was a serious discussion I wanted to have and now it's locked, but I notice that the topic about magic hidden books is still active. That's something that has nothing to do with Friday the 13th. Meanwhile my on topic thread closed. Hope this can be rectified.
  10. Assuming they can work out his traversing. I think it would be cool to see Mark as a bonus objective. Plus, whoever gets chosen to be him will be super on edge because they know that their chance of survival is extremely slim. Possible executions: -Wheels him over campfire and holds him there -folds chair while he's in it -pushes him out and beats him with it -rolls him into lake -machete to the face of course -push him in front of car(should disable car) -dump him in open grave and bury To be fair to mark though he should be able to drop firecrackers and try and wheel of while he's dazed. If he has them. He shouldn't be completely helpless while being wheeled to his death.
  11. Might be a bit of a challenge to figure out the mechanics, but offroading could slow him down and make extra noise. Plus think of all the cool wheelchair kills if Jason gets a hold of it. Just thinking of him slowly wheeling you down the road and into the lake.
  12. Here are my thoughts on how to add Mark and his wheelchair to make him playable. Includes how he would be integrated through a special gameplay mode and some of his possible stats. Speed: Being disabled he should obviously be one of the slowest characters in the game. However since the game often relies on teamwork any counselor that chooses to push him should get a speed boost at reduced stamina. Or carry him for opposite penalties to speed and stamina(say if chair is damaged or lost in an escape attempt) Fear: He should reduce fear in those around him. Why? Well to be honest everybody around him should feel more confident in surviving when the person next to them can't out run them. Also, if he does die they should have less composure because they either sacrificed him or willingly let him die. Xp: Escaping with Mark should or totting him around should give greater amounts of xp. Traps: He should have access to traps none of the others can use to offset his disadvantage for escaping. He can't just hop through a window but it would be cool to see him crawl through one and abandon his chair. Also if being pushed he should be usable as a battering ram to stun Jason. Kind of comical for this game but a dead sprint into Jason with a wheelchair may be stun worthy. Playability: Maybe he should be a random playable character. Like every so often he pops up as a challenge in the lobby and somebody random gets chosen to be him. Just like a bonus for that round to add an extra challenge and objective and earn some extra xp if you can escape with him. As a main playable character I don't know if he would cut it but as bonus challenge character I think he could add to the game by encouraging cooperation. I would like to hear other people's ideas on Mark and see what creative things he might bring to the game.
  13. Alright, I made some modifications to this thread because of your feedback. Not trying to start any fights here. Just trying to have a discussion about a game I have been following for a while and have high hopes for. It may have been a little poorly worded so I made some corrections so it doesn't come off so combative. I do think my Mark thread should be unlocked because it was something not greatly talked about and I was interested in discussing with other fans. If nobody wants to discuss it that's fine but I think it should have been given a chance. I know I'm new here but I have followed this games progress for a while and just wanted to throw some ideas I had around finally.
  14. Nothingface, I won't be surprised to see this one locked as well. But the most inflammatory thing is the title. I was trying to think of something better but the words escaped me. Not really trying to be disrespectful because I know it's difficult to moderate the forum. But, when my legitimate thread gets closed before it starts while another thread created by a guy that just spams the forums is left to thrive is quite annoying. The main focus was a discussion on Mark like you said. Not just Mark being mentioned as an after thought to another idea.
  15. Mark has been very rarely discussed on here. I did a search for him and couldn't find much. And I Am speculating what he might add to the game and wanted to hear others ideas. The forum is to add serious discussion to the game and maybe generate ideas or reasons to see them implemented. This is a crowd sourced game and while the developers have final say in all, these forums are a way for their supporters to make suggestions. I'm just saying a serious discussion about things that might actually have a shot at making it into the game in the future should have more of a chance for people to post and discuss than a thread that talks about magical hidden books that have nothing to do with the series and that summon demons, ghosts, chainsaws and by this point probably killer clowns from outer space.
  16. I've seen him mentioned in a few topics and heard possibilities of him being added later, but haven't seen any real discussions about him, unless I just missed them. So, let's discuss what Mark can bring to the table. I would like to hear other people's ideas on Mark and see what creative things he might bring to the game.
  17. Ah, ok. Guess I didn't notice that in the videos. It would be a rather pointless ability unless you just wanted to taunt or there was a special kill you wanted to get.
