  1. I can't take you serious right now. I hope your just trying to "troll" me! (Stats straight from Microsoft Live store: Dead by Daylight: 13.44 gigs Friday the 13th: The Game: 5.29 gigs
  2. I disagree with you there. I think they are both fine in presentation. F13th takes place in the real world (well the world of 1980's) and Dead By Daylight takes place in a dark dimension, where the Entity has total control and it's a sick evil mockery of our world (killer's worlds). Why didn't they make the kills more cinematic or like Mortal Kombat?! Cause it's not a "Mortal Kombat" game. As the others have stated, Freddy's been fixed. He was pretty bad ass for his one day on consoles. The next day there was a patch sent out (how come Gun can't get a patch sent out within 24 hours?). Leatherface and Myers are only "overpowered" if the killer gets the right mixture of ultra rare perks. Even then a good team working together can get out. What the DbD players on steam are not telling you is that survivors can be very "op" with the right perks. If say somebody has the rainbow key, they can use it on the hatch and everybody can escape through the hatch without even touching a generator. But enough, as a previous poster has already stated. Dead By Daylight and Friday the 13th the game can't be compared fairly. The only thing they share in common is that their a "survival horror game" and that's it. I guess I like DbD better because I have a chance to escape by myself if I get stuck with a shitty team better then my odds of surviving in F13th working alone. Finally, when i get into a game of DbD, I meet three other players with the same goal as me. To escape. Not to dance around and generally be an ass or work with Jason to kill the others first. That's pretty much it. You F13th die hard fans are going to disagree with me and honestly I'm done with talking about this. Let's just agree to disagree and respect each others choices. See you all at Camp or maybe even the Entity's dimension. GAME ON!!
  3. Favorite Freddy One Liner

"Mhmmm.....Soul Food" and "You are all my children now"
  4. At the end of the day, we all like what we like. You can't change that.
  5. 1. I never called Illfonic/Gun negligent. The OP did. So don't pick on me. 2. Looks like Ass? Plays like Ass? You've never played it, only watched it. It's a different thing when your in the driver's seat. As for playing like Ass. Sometimes that's a good thing. Friday the 13th can come off extremely boring and tedious too. If your unlucky and get killed within the first 5 mins of the game, your stuck waiting to collect your exp. points. Well I agree that everybody is entitled to their own likes and dislikes, I feel that you have no business calling a game out on looks alone. Play it first and then by all means call it a boring piece of ass candy if you must! 3. F13th doesn't feel like a movie at all. Maybe a parody where the campers taunt, dance and generally try to teabag Jason to death or where you have a screaming, cursing Jason calling you names and saying they slept with your mother. Then yes. F13 is totally a downright terror filled orgasmic horror movie experience.
  6. Ha ha ha ha. I thought it was your video! ha ha. He can be such a bitch (Myers) when he has that unlimited "Evil within level 3" perks.
  7. That's nobody's fault. It's just the way steam works compared to Sony and Microsoft. Yeah, steam is cheaper to setup your game, patch and update your game, but they allow anybody to submit a game. There's a lot of crappy games on steam. At the end of the day, a company that has to pay a little fee or none at all will always support PC machines first over a console. It's just the facts of life. :/
  8. I agree. This was my first project that I supported ever for kickstarter. It's gotta be something really special before I even think of supporting a kickstarter project again. What made me support them in the first place was the special early bird price of $25 US dollars. Converting that to Canadian and I only played about $35 bucks after taxes. I didnt have to pay for shipping and handling, which can sometimes be very expensive.
  9. YOU WOULD BE WRONG SIR!! Michael myers can do an insta kill when he has his perk at level 3. Get the ultra rare tombstone offering and he can insta kill till the end of time. If anybody on here owns both games and an Xbox system and would like to play, you can message me for my gamertag. Always looking for a few more good friends to join my ever growing army of good gamers!
  10. Thanks! Sorry I've been busy and I forgot to come back to this post and thank you. So thank you! I look forward to gaming with some of you from the forums.
  11. There is taunting going on in Friday the 13th the game thanks to the new Emotes (like the dancing emote). This has nothing to do with the games and everything to do with a majority of people being asshats when they game online. That's because he's not based on the 1984 "A Nightmare on Elm Street" Freddy, but the 2010 remake. Also if you go back and watch the original Nightmare on Elm Street, Freddy's all business. He didn't become the comedic killer to a few movies later. Why can't we just embrace both games and be happy? I haven't had this much fun in a horror related game since Left for Dead 1 and 2 came out. Be happy and like what you like. <3
  12. DbD vs F13

Play what you want. Like what you want. But you can't deny that the OP is right. Gun has dropped the ball more times then I care to even think about. Yeah, it's growing pains or it's a lack of staff or whatever excuse that happens (ie Act of Nature). Gun needs to take that huge amount of money that they made off of kickstarter and off the clothing packs dlc and the killer pack dlc and hire more help...unless their saving all this for Friday the 13th: The Game PART 2??!!
  13. Excellent. Is there anything I need to do? It's been a few days since I posted.
  14. This is what happens when you take your product and merge it with every holiday/gimmick. I still haven't recovered from laughing at the bathing suit pack and the Halloween pack. I look forward to killing Chad in his Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer costume! HA HA HA HA. People will literally buy anything these days. Sad. Video contains NSFW lyrics
  15. I don't play the game much these days due to all the issues and frankly asshats that you will encounter in "Quick Play". I don't talk much (I'm very shy) and not one for big groups, but I'd like to throw my hat into the Xbox Club. It would be cool to have some games with some good peeps. Gamertag is SCREWNUT
  16. Hola from Canada

Woot another fellow Countrymen! All Hail Canada!
  17. Damn you must have a horseshoe up your butt, or I have stupid friends! lol
  18. Only if the people you're playing with have the brains to find and use the CB radio!
  19. Noobs, noobs everywhere!

This happened to me 5 times in seperate matches. I'd be either stalking somebody or just grabbed them and they would disconnect before the game acknowledged the kill. Very irritating. Also a minor bitching moment...but I hate all the new noobs who just spend the whole game hiding under beds, in closets or tents. We need everybody to work together here if some of us wanna make it out alive.
  20. Just ignore him and they will go away or turn on themselves my fellow console players. PS: Video is NSFW!!
  21. Halloween vs Friday vs Nightmare

Oh come on now. If you adjust the Halloween Series to only include Halloween, Halloween II, and Halloween: 20 Years later. It's a perfect trilogy and a beautiful ending to the franchise. Though I'm curious where this new Halloween movie will take us.
  22. F13 is not a dating service

I'm surprised this happens in the lobby. I thought most of this happened between private messages during the game.
  23. Halloween vs Friday vs Nightmare

Craven did say that a homeless man that lived outside his bedroom window as a child was his inspiration for Freddy. The dream attacks where from news paper articles about several students dying due to severe night terrors back in the early 80s. Halloween franchise success is what inspired the realitively new film group NEW LINE CINEMA the courage to go ahead and take a risk. New Line Cinema to this day is called "The House that Freddy built".
  24. Single player news + DLC roadmap

I'm talking about future patches that will be required when future dlc comes out. The Xbox system is always the last to have these things up to date due (in my opinion) to them not having the skilled labour to meet the high quality control of Microsoft.
  25. Single player news + DLC roadmap

This map means nothing to us XBOX Gamers as we can be anywhere from a week to a few months behind on patches and upgrades! WOOT!
