Strengths/Weaknesses are for the Jason, not the weapon. Changing weapons simply changes what attack types there are and the range/reach of the weapon. For example the hitbox for the pickaxe is somewhat wider than other one/two handed weapons, so you could kind of catch people are more "awkward" angles with it compared to an axe or machete.

Jason’s Grab

Yeah if they're just starting the animation, it'll reset them. If they are partway through, they'll pop to the other side. -
Jason’s Grab
VoorheesAJollyGoodFellow replied to FridayThe31st's topic in Friday the 13th: The Game General Discussion
Remember that if a counselor is mid-animation from jumping through a window, you can't grab them until the animation finishes and control returns to that player. I think the same is true if they are simply climbing through slowly. Gotta wait for them to finish. -
Quickest escape by car
VoorheesAJollyGoodFellow replied to Deano78's topic in Friday the 13th: The Game General Discussion
I almost feel bad for escaping that quick because it means more focus on the remaining counselors. -
I think this alone would be enough. Just a teensy little something to allow for the slightest breathing room. But they'd have to fix combat stance(removing lock-on) since that causes the combat to feel clunky instead of fluid. And fix the issue where Jason holding block gets de-blocked(block is released) if Jason isn't host when a counselor attack lands. Make it so block remains up whether host or not. Then, this would fix the whole combat system in my opinion.

Sneaky Jason
VoorheesAJollyGoodFellow replied to SeasonoftheWitch's topic in Friday the 13th: The Game General Discussion
Probably should be in off-topic. Part 5 would technically be the best sneaker because he wasn't even seen in full until the climax. Most of the kills came out of nowhere. Aside from that, Part 4 had some good sneak kills. Although he was seen, no one who saw him lived, until the climax. -
I was against this before. You have to aim ahead. Typically look about 15 feet in front of where the counselor is pointing. Save up on knives. However, anyone willing to do this probably has infinite health sprays or just invulnerability, super speed, etc. So don't even entertain them. Just quit and wait a few minutes to make sure you don't get matched with the same people.

I would guess that anyone that has Jason "legitimately" would have it activated on their account from a looong time ago. If you report them, the devs could look at the account and determine when the Savini was activated and know from that point whether or not it was legitimate. I suppose reporting Savini users won't hurt people that have him legitimately. If I ever get wrongly banned I can provide my receipt which I still have in my email.

Alice got it easy. She got scared for a few seconds then manhandled and stabbed in the brain. Over too quick. The boxer in Part 8 that got a hot rock shoved in his chest is pretty bad in my opinion. It happened kind of slow. Paula in part 6 seems pretty bad. But once she's thrown half through the window she's either dead already or unconscious, in either case she can't feel Jason turning her into paste at that point. The guy in part 9 getting boiled in cooking grease is pretty bad. That might be the worst one, pain-wise. However, there are those 2 guys that get melted after Jason hops out of their bodies so maybe that's the worst.

Block Broken?
VoorheesAJollyGoodFellow replied to Dragonfire82877's topic in Friday the 13th: The Game General Discussion
Maybe you were pressing block, but as far as the Jason avatar goes, he's not doing the block animation. So either you fumbled the controls or there's some kind of delay happening between entering combat stance and when block is available. Maybe you need to wait a second after entering combat stance before you press the block button. Just a guess.
