  1. Technically it's fair game, but I find it incredibly boring and lacking in any talent/skill when that's all they do. Just my opinion.
  2. Did more pocket knives get added to each map with this update? My friend just had a round where they got stabbed with 4 knives and Tommy wasn't called/in the game. I had thought previously there were only 3 knives, then 4 with Tommy's. Anyone else experience this?
  3. Thanks for your quick response @mattshotcha! So going back and reading some of the other posts, my understanding is that once the damage threshold is reached for the mask to come off, then it's basically a roll of the dice whether the mask comes off with each subsequent hit. Is that correct?
  4. A curious finding upon some testing with my friend in a private session. Here's the setup - we wanted to test a -HP Jason and a regular HP Jason with Buggzy using a machete in both combat stance and regular stance (no perks equipped to increase damage dealt out). Our Jasons were part 4 and part 6. Hits to remove the mask on part 4: - Combat stance: 4 - Regular stance: 5 (stunned once) Hits to remove the mask on part 6: - Combat stance: 4 (both with stuns and without stuns) - Regular stance: 6 (stunned twice) // 4 (no stuns) My question is this - are we sure that a stunning hit consistently does the same amount of damage as a non stunning hit? Or perhaps these rules/changes don't carry over into private matches?
  5. Can confirm the random counselor glitch is still a problem post-update.
  6. Whether they award extra XP/CP, it wouldn't make much of a difference to those who have gotten to lvl 150. The XP is meaningless after that and the CP just keeps accruing because there's nothing to spend it on once you get the perks you want. If there was something else to actually spend the CP on, I'd be all for awarding extra points.
  7. They’re both distraction characters. As the above poster said - hit and run. They get plenty of hits with their weapons.
  8. I know the game is way past any major changes/updates/etc. at this point, but I've always felt that it would have been a nice feature to have a separate button for healing yourself versus healing another counselor. I can't count how many times I've wanted to heal an injured counselor and instead healed myself because I'd gone through a broken window earlier. I feel like this should have been a feature implemented early on. Would it be out of the question to alter the controls at this point? It wouldn't really be adding a new feature but rather tweaking an existing one (healing other players).
  9. The first one (epic) sounds better since it has no drawbacks and you have the same % increase in damage with both. I don't think you're gonna notice a 3% change in stumbling with counselors.
  10. I thought they had addressed some of the bot issues (i.e. staying in a hiding the spot the whole match)? I have personally noticed them doing that less often since the last update. I used to have 2-3 of the bots stay in a spot all match, now I don't run into that as often.
  11. I thrive on the mean or harassing messages. I find them hilarious. 😆 The fact that someone would care enough to send out insults means that you got to them.
  12. I think it depends on your preferred method of "winning" the game. Do you want to escape and fly under the radar? Play someone like Deborah or AJ. Do you want to tango with Jason and run him around the map? Play someone like Vanessa or Tiffany. If you want to have an open play style and have the option of doing a little of both, pick a middle-ground character like Fox, Adam, or Kenny. I don't know that there's one "best" counselor. Just my opinion at least.
  13. It's definitely a mixture of both luck and skill, though I favor mostly skill and a little luck as my answer. Luck because your initial spawn location (especially on small maps) may or may not yield you items that are useful for surviving/escaping before everything else gets searched by other counselors. However, you definitely need skill to accomplish your goal (whether it be escaping or surviving) if you're going to have a Jason who is keeping an eye on objectives and/or chasing you. You can have all the items in the world, but if you don't know how to play it smart, you'll die quickly.
  14. I’m on Xbox and it’s working fine for me, so I don’t think it’s the servers. Maybe reboot your system/router?
  15. Whatever the f*ck is happening to her hair during this glitch is hilarious. 😂
  16. Strangely enough, for me the bots are always obsessed with the phone box. I can literally use all my traps and they will tank them again and again. It's humorous. 😂 Same for the Tommy box.
  17. Most of the time, they're trolling Jason. Once in a while, you'll see people use it to get another counselor's attention.
  18. That's one thing they are looking into fixing with the next update.
  19. It DOES recharge stamina when standing still, that's how it works. But the more your fear increases, the slower the recharge rate is going to be. It's better to use Marathon in this instance. Your choice obviously. But Restful isn't going to make stamina recharge at the no-fear level when you're around Jason for a prolonged period of time.
  20. I wouldn't say it recharges stamina "fast" when around Jason. No matter the counselor (except No Fear Jenny), your stamina regeneration rate decreases dramatically when around Jason for extended periods. It's useful giving shorter run arounds, but if you plan on spending an extended period of time around Jason, it won't be that beneficial. It's better to boost how much you have with marathon if that's your thing.
  21. @AshTray900 What's your typical ping rate if I may ask? I know often times when a counselor's and/or Jason's ping rate is up, it can impact whether the weapon connects or not. At least, in my experience.
  22. Could be your privacy settings? The Xbox game chat is glitchy in general, but I do know your privacy settings in the communication/multiplayer section of your Xbox profile can impact who does and does not hear your voice on the mic.
  23. I think it honestly depends on the person playing the counselor. I've seen people as each counselor give one hell of a run around. It's all about map awareness and knowing your limitations with a counselor. Sure, the counselors like Buggzy, Vanessa, Chad, Tiffany, etc. often take longer to "run-down," but in my experience, those are the ones to catch off guard rather than chase straight up. Makes the chase much shorter in my experience. However, I hate to say it, but a lot of these types of counselors drop the minute they don't have their pocket knife anymore, so you don't really even get the kill anyways. 🙄
