  1. Wow obviously non of you whippersnappers had to live through Rainbow Six PC 1998. The game was unplayable. Not the current version of unplayable "it's buggy, sometimes I get killed and I don't wana, whaaaa!" The game was literally unplayable on like 80% of computers system, wouldn't even load or if it did crash right after opening splash screen. We tried everything to get it to run. Changed drivers and g-cards and edited *.ini files, we just wanted to play. A patch wasn't released for months. Now look at Ubisoft and Red Storm Entertainment. So the game isn't perfect nothing ever is. Just get out there and try to have some fun.

  3. So back in the day (late 90s) I used to host a Half-Life/Day of Defeat/Counter-Strike server. Also people and clans use to rent servers. Gun needs to give us a host install and I will build a host box asap.
  4. Why Do You Play?

This game is a lot of fun. Even when I catch a bad break, experience a glitch or have to deal with QP morons I'm still having fun. Hell, the other night while trying to game with @AldermachXI , I spawned in a cabin near the boat. In that one cabin I got a knife, the fuse, flares and the propeller. Jackpot! While installing the prop, another player came over and dropped the gas. We were going to be home free! Fastest escape ever! Until I took a throwing knife to the head. Jason (Aldermach) was on us. I panicked, got in the boat and took off hoping the other player was going to buy me some time. Nope. Alder tipped the boat about 20 feet from the dock and drowned me, then went back to shore to finish the other. Not more then a few minutes later the server crashed. Even being the 1st person killed, and the game crashing I still had a lot of fun. Obviously it the game isn't perfect (nothing is) but I hardly notice it's so called flaws.
  5. I have about 8 Pam tapes and 3 Jarvis tapes, I'm level 38 (ish). I feel a lot of it has to do with the fact I'm not a super looter. I have a tendency to prep each cabin I go into (Lock all doors, open all windows, set traps and loot). I think it would be cool for the dev's to create tapes for all the counselors. Give them all a bit of back story. Chad tapes 1-12 "Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh!"
  6. Yeah I'm bummed. I have friends coming in for the weekend. It's great to see my friends but bummer on no F13.
  7. I think this is a great idea, and I'm looking forward to playing the game more. It will be great to be dropped into a "mostly" "mature-ish" QP lobby. Seamless.
  8. PC Players: Control?

Don't forget about the Microsoft serial EasyBall
  9. I'm been playing with a mouse and keyboard (the surface book Bluetooth mouse and keyboard) and the control is just ok. I have a difficulty driving, and kiting or fighting Jason. However I main Debra so the last two not really too viable anyway. So I just ordered an xbox one s controller and wanted to hear everyone's preferences or tips and tricks. (also I did a search for PC Contollers but didn't find anything, my apologies if this has been talked to death.)
  10. adequately inebriated
  11. well I just picked 13 as a theme, but maybe it should be lower. 8? Or # of stuns in a specific time frame.
  12. P7 and Pinehurst?

Does stepping in the river trigger Jason's water sense?
  13. Not sure if this has been mentioned. The 13th stun in a match should automatically trigger rage. Also I think when Jason loses his makes their should be a huge spike in fear. He is one ugly S.O.B.
  14. Nightmare at camp crystal lake. Jason is like NOPE.
  15. So much so I bought the dlc just to reward the devs.
