  1. I've been a backer since before release and player of this game since day 1 and it seems like there will always be an exploit the trolls will use no matter how many bugs are fixed (or then reversed?? ie: the roof on Packanack is now fair game again WTF!).

I took 4 months off when the devs announced no more updates because I was really sad no more maps were being created and now that I've re-joined recently, all the good players who like to make parties and teams and actually play and compete are pretty much gone - it's all n00bz and trolls, which SHOULD be ok since I'm pretty good at the game by now.

But for the devs to cease any updates except "bugs/quality of life gameplay" and still allow trolls to commit suicide WITHOUT JASON'S HELP, LESS THAN A MINUTE INTO THE MATCH, is total bullshit. Do the salt mines even work? Why isn't Jason getting the kill if it's someone obviously trolling and avoiding being chased by a 150 Jason?

Man, I thought I could tolerate playing this game without my old crew of real counselors to play with, but the amount of people who quit before Jason can finish performing the kill, or who commit suicide before the Jason even gets his sense ability, is staggering and totally ruining the game.
DEVS - - PLEASE FIX THE OLD GLITCHES AND ENFORCE SALT MINES FOR THE TROLLS!

if you like to play with real players, who love the franchise and competition, HMU on PS4: inkystains

peace to all the real counselors at the camp!

  2. Legendary Perks ARE free, you just gotta earn em! ;)

Also, if everyone had them, what would be the point? It's one of the last cool things they added that skews the game slightly and allows veterans who put in hours/weeks/months/years of work to earn some power-ups that aren't simply purchasable by a new player.

That said, I've rolled about 150,000 CP on ps4 and still haven't found one!

  3. @SmugDoka thanks for watching - glad you liked it!

@J.J. thanks for de-railing the topic of me sharing something I created with other AJ fans and making it about yourself! You must be really cool in person! :D

For anyone out there who wants more of AJ, I made this mashup fan video of my crew dressed in skeleton suits, dancing to the Pseudo Echo "His Eyes" song from Friday 5.

I found it really refreshing to play the game in a different way, film, share, and collect video clips from epic battles, and sync them to the beat.

Give it a peep and send me a like or follow on youtube, friend me on PS4: inkystains

    Peas.

Was you using rage to break the door down? If your answer is yes, Jason is defenseless for a short moment after breaking a door/wall down with rage. If I know a counselor is there ready to attack me I will not use rage to knock the door/wall down because I don't want them to have a free attack, possibly a stun and then get away.

If not keep an eye out for where counselors go once they run away from you and enter a house. A lot of times they will hide just inside the door for you to come in and hit you for an easy stun. If you know a counselor is trying to do this, juke them by making them think you are going to enter the house. Then stop right before the door to stay out of their melee range then grab them or slash, whatever you prefer. You can also enter combat stance and use block to be safe. Just remember, to grab them you must leave combat stance.

speaking of combat stance - when Jason was still heavily nerfed at least, I could NOT block or dodge anything. Counselors ganging up and performing a serious schoolyard beatdown, nothing about combat stance worked - you had to shift out of the way.
I seriously ask: as both counselor and Jason, does the dodge/block feature of combat stance work at all???

  6. PS4

PSN: inkystains    - add me if you like to play for real, try new things out, and don't rage quit or backstab!

    What's up gang!

I've been a HUUUUGE Jason/Friday fan since I was 5 years old, really wanted the NES game to be good, but have been praying for 30 years for someone to make a better version of that game and Gun Media have seriously outdone themselves with making a true-to-film experience that captures the adrenaline and fear present in all those movies.

True there are many bugs and problems with the online community, but as a fan and backer, I'm in it for the long haul and can't wait to see where this game is in another year, or what other games like it, get inspired into creation due to the successes of this.

I've also been making Jason graffiti art, posters, stickers, and drawings since I was a kid - some of them can be found at my website: http://stainsworthink.com/, and some for sale at ReBubble now: https://www.redbubble.com/people/inkystains/works/29963581-jason-voorhees-caught-red-handed?asc=u&grid_pos=1&p=t-shirt&rbs=37510d89-076c-41b9-a1fc-ff78726d4953&ref=shop_grid&style=mens

    See you on the lake!
