    @Strigoi you seem to suffer from the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon (maybe more known to you as the blue car syndrome). One day you make a post as you have the illusions that there are more windows barricaded than usual, now less PK and less machetes, but more pipes in the match than usual. What comes next: you see too many Jasons (or a clone of him) in the match, because one second he is at the boat house and next time at the Shower cabin? Here is an explanation to prevent the next one: Jason can morph. 😜

    Moving the mask coming off to only after Rage will incentivize players to push Jason into Rage, which then, if they fail the kill, leaves every counselor at an earlier disadvantage. I don't see this as a viable option for tuning mask or Jason Kill scenario. You also note that it would give Jason pause when he gets to Rage, making him vulnerable. That is the antithesis of the Rage design. I also disagree that experienced players will suddenly be more motivated to fix cars and things because the kill is delayed. I think in the structure you describe, kill squads will just prep for the kill and maybe have a few sacrificial lambs smack on Jason in an attempt to push Rage sooner rather than fix a car. I think the answer here is not going to be something that takes a roundabout way to attempt to drive players to other options. This topic has received a lot of feedback and discussion, and if any change were to be made in terms of the kill process, it would be more straightforward and only affect the kill process, nothing else. Rage can't be a casualty of the mask situation. That was not in this patch, but will be investigated next. More news as soon as I have it.

    I was trying to give Tommy and SG a chance to catch up to Jason, so I ran over and intentionally got killed. Then this happened...

    Ok i think we can all agree that after all of his posts that rather than worrying about balance and item spawns, they should configure Strigoi's account so that after the opening match sequence it goes right to the kill Jason screen. The fact that you make up so many unfounded observations is just absurd. More windows have not been barricaded, pipe spawns have not been increased, Machete and Axe spawns have not been decreased, We do not need more PK's, Jason doesn't have balance completely in his favor (Even though he should) Killing Jason is easier now and you must be the most delusional player of the game or you graduated from troll college at the top of your class.

    People fail at killing Jason sometimes. They should swallow that bitter pill and move on. Some teaming accusations are valid, while others are not. If you are accused of teaming (and you aren't), just change lobbies, or run those jerks over.

    Meh.. I disagree. If Jason has a car locked down. Theres still the phone, maybe another car, or a boat,..or just straight up surviving for 20 mins. Since Jason can't be everywhere at once. Counselors need to give up an objective if Jason has it locked down, not be given a way to forcefully beat Jason silly while they accomplish it. Counselors need to be kept in check.

    Patch 1.36 is live now, January 20, 2020. FULL PATCH NOTES: FIXED: An issue causing Environmental Kills to record a kill, but leave the counselor in game, creating stuck lobbies and excessive kill counts. FIXED: An issue with the drawer upstairs on Pinehurst that would cause the counselor to become stuck if interacted with. FIXED: A problem with super lazy bots on Jarvis House Offline. They are now motivated and will move about as normal. FIXED: An issue that would render a door unusable if two counselors interacted with the door/barricade at the same time. FIXED: Various game crash issues. FIXED: Various car interaction fixes, specifically counselors interacting with the car (fixing, starting, etc). FIXED: Various counselor stuck spots have been resolved. OTHER: Private Matches now include control over more of the in game settings. The modifier for “Ability Unlock/Recharge Rate” for Jason is currently only Recharge Rate. The Ability Unlock speed aspect of this will be implemented at a later date. These controls allow players to tweak private match settings to many varying degrees and some unexpected behavior can be seen depending on the variables selected. While players should expect some instability when altering these settings, the community can also report any unexpected behavior to JasonKillsBugs.com

    This is only one of the many annoying types of interaction glitches/locks. Shoot a gun too quickly (usually happens when quick-shooting) the gun doesn’t disappear from your back (or hand if its a flare) and then you’re stuck that way. Until Jason grabs you. Slashing doesnt help in this situation. You can’t heal yourself, you can’t go through windows, can’t interact with ANYTHING. All you can do is keep running away from Jason...until you die because of it. Luckily I was able to escape to the cops this time it happened, they arrived at just the right time jason was chasing me, and he morphed away to the cops. So I was able to escape. This glitch is way more game breaking than the environment kills glitch. While I’m glad that was fixed, this one is very annoying and should be fixed as soon as possible.

    Ive been playing the game every night and there seems to be metal pipes that have replaced machetes. metal pipes are everywhere in high volumes inside of cabins. please bring back machetes. locations that used to have pocket knives no longer have them. This game has got to stop swinging in Jason's favor or no one will want to play the game. Part of the thrill of Friday the 13th the game is killing Jason.

    Hey, what about also asking them for more car keys, more batteries and more gasoline added to the game? We also need more fuses, I didn’t find any the last 3 matches... Just kidding: there are more than enough weapons already in the match and on all maps. I hope it stays that way, we are still talking about summer cabins at Camp Crystal Lake and not any medieval torture chambers....

    Don't do that! Make them chase you for the rest of the match. Payback for using a glitch. Most will rage quit when they realize they are never going to catch you and are tired of being embarrassed. I hate to be a jerk in this game, but sometimes its warranted.

    @Strigoi, randomization has been a thing in this game since day one. Some matches will be better than others. Luck plays a part in this game, especially with items and weapons. As there are a max of four knives, it is first come, first serve. As far as machetes go, I can find one most of the time. If for some reason I can't, I use whatever I find and make the most of it. Don't forget, killing Jason is not the only victory you can achieve.

    @Zukov, I too would love for them to come back to the F13 franchise once the lawsuit is settled. They wouldn't even have to make another game (sequel), just re-vamp the current one. Add the left out content and produce more. Unfortunately, it isn't going to happen. They have said that they will not add anymore content once the lawsuit is settled and have also said that they will never produce a sequel to this game. Our only hope is, once the BS lawsuit is over with and done, another developer that loves the franchise takes a shot at their own version of the game. Of course there is always that possibility that once the lawsuit is done that someone approaches them with a huge lump sum to continue this game. They can deny this now, but we all know the saying, "money talks and BS walks." **Disclaimer** This is my wishful thinking by the way, I haven't seen this posted anywhere.

    I think its important to remember that rage wasn't actually that good to begin with in its old state. It amounted to... - A bit faster cooldown on abilities - Super Sense, but that's actually something that I disagree with since it just makes late game a constant loopathon fight and makes any sort of hide and seek gameplay irrelevant. If they would just get rid of the toggle, that would make a difference. - A door busting mechanic that left Jason easy pickings for a stun on the other side which left many, MANY Jasons opting to just break a door down the normal way. If you have a situation where players would rather go with the time consuming mechanic (regardless of a regular attack, a combat stance attack or double tapping a door) over the supposed upgraded door busting mechanic. Then its a broken ability. Its funny that they actually took the time to prevent counselors stunning Jason through doors, but they never gave him any sort of protection from being stunned after using a mechanic that's supposed to be more powerful. That was basically the long and short of rage. Jason didn't really gain much from a supposed 'final' form. It might have seemed good at or around launch and beta, but over time with everybody learning the game. The old rage became not much of a gain for Jason. That said, the rage mechanic as it is now is just lazy and pushes the already established lopsided meta towards the boring loopathon, 20 minute struggle, go for the Jason kill, etc. It felt like the easiest band aid they could give to the playerbase to offset the 'Jason is a pinata for trolls' argument. It does need change. So many ideas have been proposed and if they decide to change it again, they'll take heat regardless. I think the easiest way to make weapons useful in rage is just making each one a one hit use. They can stun Jason, but they break instantly. That gives everybody a fighting chance, makes the kill mechanic a bit tougher, knowing the weapons break instantly, etc.

    Welcome to the forums. First I would like to correct you. Strength has no barring on stun. In fact, it's actually has an advantage when Jason is in rage and still has his mask on. The demasking hit will resort in a brief stun. Not much, but it's worth considering. While the rage buff does indeed increase the difficulty surviving Jason, I promise you that this game is counselor favored. I'm a good counselor player, also a good Jason player, anyone who played with me will back that, and I'm going to tell you counselors have the advantage. With the rage buff, being a good counselor now requires more skill and knowledge than before. At the casual level, this game is heavily favored Killer, even if its the most basic play-level Jason. But once the lobby has even a couple of players that know how to deal and combat Jason, then Jason has his work cut out for him. If you every seen league play, escapes still happen, cops still get called, Jason still gets killed. Honestly (minus killing Jason ofc ), I think the balance dynamic isn't bad at all currently. If you are having trouble with Jason, consider my advice dealing with rage. First, ofc, escape before you have to deal with it. Learn to hit Jason without relying on the stun for the Stamina bonus; toggle on and off Combat stance to bait Jason into over committing into something, then punish. Hit him from the side or back, never in front since he'll just grab you after the hit. Learn the various cancel tech, dodge cancel and block cancel, which requires toggling Combat stance quickly before the swing. Jason also take full damage on an successful hit that doesn't stun, so keep that in mind if you have go for the Jason kill when he's in rage. Have fun learning, don't worry about your survive to death ratio. Once you get to that level, then most Jasons will be a cake walk. I don't have any problems surviving regularly, and it's not even my priority ether when I play

    Hello everybody ! I'm glad to see that the game is still supported I just have one concern, if you please listen to me : I think the modification made to the Rage Mode is too steep. Losing the ability to stun Jason make all the perks for that useless, and characters with high strength are just unplayable now. I can see why you did this, but it would be nice instead of dropping to zero, just lower the chance of stunning Jason when he's in Rage Mode. That would be more fair. Please, please, take this opinion into account ! I love your game and I would like to continue to play it, but not with this modification !

    It sounds like it could have been a blast, provided it was implemented the right way. Ideas like these could have kept the game going a lot longer, if they had made it in before the lawsuit kicked in.

Me and the wife made F13 cookies and bloody hot cocoa. Convert it to cash money, and I'll take it off your hands... I prefer Becky Lynch interviews myself.

    After the new update ive noticed a reduction of Machetes. After the new update i keep seeing metal pipes where it used to be more effective weapons like axes and machetes. After the recent update more pocket knives seem to have been removed from the base online multiplayer game. 3 pocket knives on each map. you got to be kidding me. there should be at least 6 pocket knives on each map online match. how do you know the exact official numbers of pocket knives on each online multiplayer match map. I Wonder if Matt Shotcha knows if weapons and pocket knives were adjusted or changed in the last update to the game.

    @mattshotcha I noticed people were able to use the Flare Gun in the Hong Kong version of F13 about 10 days ago. Is this fixed now? Is cross-region play working between the 3 region versions (NA/EU/AS) now? I'm excited to purchase my SIXTH copy of this game to round out my collection (3x PS4, X1, PC, Switch).
