    I mentioned this when we first tweeted out an opening for a Community Manager/Community Developer role, but my responsibilities here are growing. My current role is no longer specifically in Community Management, it's working with PR, and leading our marketing communications, community management, and customer service departments. Please understand that I know that community engagement hasn't been the best it could be, which is why we are taking steps to remedy the situation. We have a new Community Developer starting in a few short weeks - the first week of December - and they will be able to give the forums (and our other social outlets) the attention that they deserve. I've worked with this person before and I'm happy to be able to get their experience and work excellence into the team here at Gun. Our previous CS wasn't as good as it could be, so we reworked and expanded our in-house CS team in order to elevate our customer care abilities. CS currently has an average response time (during working hours) of less than an hour, which is an amazing feat given the two months they've been here. They are super on-the-ball and killing it. I am beyond proud of them. Unfortunately, and to the annoyance of my coworkers, I have not taken a vacation since I started here. Hopefully, that will change in 2019. To answer another question; no, this update was not planned to bring balance changes. This is the first update with Black Tower at the helm and, while we have planned for balance updates in the future, it seemed prudent to have their first update focus on some of the smaller QoL fixes. Letting them get their footing with leading the project before we start asking them to make larger/sweeping changes seems like a good idea.

    I'd really love to see this game come out with a patch that actually pays more attention to balancing the 'quality of life' that this game has lost. For example, *Jason being beatin by a group of counselors. It's still silly to see, silly to watch. Counselors should fear him, not want to beat him down. Make him stronger and more dangerous. This is one of the biggest updates that's been asked for... for well over 1 year and a half now, by a lot of people. *Counselors screaming when they are in a hiding spot, just out in the open, ruining any chance of ACTUALLY hiding. Everyone knows it. You hide, Jason shows up, and the counselors screams, letting Jason know EXACTLY where the counselor player is. (How this has been in the game well past the beta is beyond me) There are so many common sense fixes and changes that could have been made with this game that still have not come. The part that boggles the mind is how this stuff has been in the game for so long, when it's just such an apparent bluebook problem with the game. Any other developers would have had this kind of stuff stitched out well at the start of the game's release. This game is practically still in beta.

    Seeing they cannot create or release new maps but can be allowed to rework systems like perks, how about a Remix map selection that essentially procedurally generated maps using all the assets that are In the game. It can be classed under random map selection and no map generated is ever the same, so it makes it unknown territory every game for jason and counselors. It would keep things interesting longer term. I know this would be way too much to ask but it really should be done imo.

    That doesn’t mean anything if he isn’t using his user name here. May ban him from this board, but unless they crack down on all of the pirate savinis out there (which they more than likely could if they wanted to) he probably isn’t going anywhere.

    So dead that you are still here posting about something to do with the game. Looks like if the game was truly "dead" as you say, there wouldn't be any conversation about the game anymore.

    @thrawn3054 @Ahab Axe damage is definitely increased without stun. I did some more testing and I did finally manage to get a 1 hit demask on part 2, 3, and 5 with a build of legendary thrasher legendary heavy hitter and I used legendary firecracker for the !5% melee attack speed increased. This build works great for Buggzy. He can demask any Jason with a machete axe or fire poker in 2 hits or less. With the same build on Fox I couldn't get stun chance low enough to make legendary thrasher worth using. She takes 3 heavy axe hits to demask Jason with or without it. I suspect that its due to higher luck as she stuns Jason a lot more often. But even with her lower strength she can still demask Jason in 2 hits with a machete. As far as hit points go I didn't use the weakest counselor or the least damaging weapon but part 9 definitely has lower hit points than the rest. He was the only one I could always demask in one hit. All the rest took 2.

    • Jason has invincibility frames after stun. A little more would be better. • what? (What cars exploit?) • I thought they already increased Jason's hit points. What's wrong with part 2 and 6? What Jason really needs is invincibility frames after finishing an animation (raging through doors, breaking doors with a weapon) and we need meat shielding back. And speed up block just enough to make it useful again.

    I wish small maps would come in if you had 6 or less players. 7-8 players disable them. As for me, i'm not a big boat fan. I hate small maps because with too many competent counselors, shit can be fixed and moving before Jason recharges Morph. As far as stuns. Why not tie stun chance into strength? It would give Buggzy and Adam a niche. Let them protect the Deb's and LaChoppa's

    I was originally going for maximum damage but it turned out to be minimum stun instead. @Ahab I was hoping friendship would add extra damage but it doesn't. Apparently if you're running multiple perks with the same type of positive effects, the program picks the highest percentage of a single perk. The positive percentages do not add up. I did get a few stuns in. The first hit from the axe always stunned part 3. But part 9 I couldn't tell since he was always in the demasking stun. The fire poker was interesting because it seems to do the same damage as the machete (at least close enough that it doesn't matter with Buggzy) but with my perk build it never stunned. The machete was down to about 1 stun in 8 hits. It's not really a problem just as long as you know the negative effects will add up against you.

    It might not be needed after other changes. It'd need to be tested to find the right balance.

Interraction locked when hitting Jason with combat Stance Higgins Haven collision spot beneath the stairs Performance issues Searching games issues Jason's block being slower than used too Sliding exploit These are the major one but still you did a great job , i hope we will the get the new rolling and the balance patch soon.

    PATCH OF THE YEAR. I'm not joking, either...I was sincerely worried that would never be fixed. Now let's finally get some of the balance issues ironed out on the next patch.
