Proposal for a new "Hero" Character: Tina

So this is my idea for adding Tina as a second hero character choice to Tommy. First off when the radio is used the player whom is selected to become the hero gets to choose between Tommy and Tina.
Tina, unlike Tommy, will not have maxed stats across the board. She will have maxed speed and stamina as well as a high repair skill (lets say somewhere between 6 and 8).
Tina will NOT be able to use or pick up weapons but can get parts and items like a normal counselor. The reason why Tina cannot use weapons is because of her special ability telekinesis.  How do we make this work and not have her OP and the only hero character choice? The player has no control over when the power will activate. Instead certain circumstances need to come up in the game for the power to function. This is how I envision it working:

Jason cannot grab Tina. If he does attempt to grab her he gets stunned (perhaps a rock or tree branch is telekinetically thrown at him). Jason can however hack at her with his weapon to kill her like a normal counselor.  If Tina is with the rest of the counselors and Jason grabs one of them there is a chance her power will activate and save the counselor from death. A reasonable cool down on the ability would need to be applied so that the power couldn't be abused. Obviously there are other ways to make this work but this is my suggestion on how to not make it over powered. Other ideas for how to make her ability work are welcomed here.

So how does Tina get to beat Jason? Tina's mother's body will be located somewhere on the map. Tina's goal is to find her mother's body so that the next time she encounters Jason she has a chance to eliminate him. This can work in one of two ways. Once the body is found the other counselors need to hurt Jason enough to knock his mask off. If Tina is present while Jason's mask is still on there can be a chance for her to help telekinetically crush it much like in the movie. Once his mask is removed a "mini-game" begins and everyone besides Tina and Jason get to view it (similarly to Tommy's kill shot). My idea for this is a button mash game between the Tina and the Jason players. If Jason is successful Tina dies and it is business as usual for the rest of the round. If Tina wins everyone gets to watch a cut scene where she uses her ability to have her Dad pop out of the lake, grabbing Jason with the chain from the rock, dragging him down to his death.

These are my basic thoughts on how this could be added to make the game more exciting and unique. What are your thoughts?

I do want Tina in the game, however she needs to be added in a specific way to make sure she's balanced. Honestly... right now with your idea it sounds like Tommy would be picked more over her, purely because Tommy seems a lot more useful with his maxed out stats.

I don't believe her ability should be random. I don't mind having things that can she can trigger around the map. But just having it trigger randomly makes it pretty useless. I was thinking maybe she could pick up weapons with it and throw them at Jason. Stun chance and damage still affecting the weapons when they hit Jason, but allowing her to use her power to attack him from a distance. There would be a hefty cooldown on the power of course, as you mentioned later in your post. Her not being able to pick up weapons... well that's a problem, especially if we're going for your original idea for her power. If it has a long cooldown, then she's going to be almost powerless when her ability isn't active. Doesn't sound much like a hero character huh? So as we were discussing on the Discord, she should have low luck so her stun chance is low. (Although I'd say her ability has a base chance of 5 luck to stun, purely to make her ability a bit more useful) Her strength should also be low. (Again with her ability at a 5 for the same reason as before) But she can pick up weapons to use when she cannot use her ability, since it's on cooldown.

"Jason cannot grab Tina". That's a big no from me. She should be able to be grabbed at any point, but she can save herself if her ability is active and a weapon is lying nearby. (Like pick it up with her ability and then throw it at Jason to break her free) So Jason could still get cool kills on Tina, because we all know being slashed to death isn't exactly fun. As for saving other counselors, I don't think it should be random and should follow my idea from before. The cooldown on the ability, it's fine as a long cooldown, I agree with that.

I don't know about your way of killing Jason. I mean the part about having her father do it, sure. But finding her mother's body? Doesn't make much sense to me. I was more thinking that Tina could lure Jason to a pier or dock and then perform a specific stun on him that acts like the sweater stun, and if someone hits him (To make sure she can't do it alone, I think that if she could that would be too powerful) then Tina's father can come up and drag him down into the lake like in the films. Obviously this would need to be done after Jason's mask was off. As for taking off the mask, I feel that Tina could cause damage to Jason using her ability, since damage is the stat that gets the mask off. Therefore, if she does enough damage to him (With 5 strength with her ability mind you) his mask snaps off like in the film.

These are just my thoughts on your idea and my own suggestions as to how to add her.

I'm all for Tina being in game,  I think the only time she should be able to use her power is to escape Jason,  just like the pocket knives are used only telekenetic type moves tho,  I also would Like one of those to be the collapsing roof and light bulb like in the movie. Love the idea of the father kill at the boat dock too. I also agree that she should be able to be grabbed and use weapons.  If I was Tina would hate to not be able to attack and if I was Jason it would be horrible trying to kill her would end up trying to run away from her and that's not what a real Jason would do. Would be great fun in a scenario like 'hey you just telehung me with the light bulb cord now that your in cool down mode and my shift is active'.... Here I come. Lol stuff like that would be fun both ways.  Also had to throw in the cord choke.  I was a big fan of part 7
