  1. Just saw this pop up in my recomended youtube videos, lol that is kinda funny. Made by AlphaGamer, its an intro wich he made for his streams.
  2. Some people love having the music melt their ears while other's hate it. I'm wondering if all of you would like to see a option to turn up Jason's music or turn it down so your ears aren't bleeding. Let me know!
  3. I think it would be a neat idea to let the player customize their Jason by allowing them to select the chase theme that they prefer. This could be added to the "customize" section in the game. What do you guys think of this idea?
  4. The title says it all. What kind of genre Harry Manfredini used to compose his musics for the movies (and game)?
  5. I hardly ever hid in a game but when I do, my heart is pounding! Seeing Jason walk around as he passes me just excites me! But there is one thing that ruins it for me, his chase music is still on! What would make it much more scarier is when you go into a hiding spot, the music is turned off.
  6. Hello all. I am aware that mods to the game will not be implemented, however, sometimes the chase music gets old...I would love to have the option to put in my own custom music for when Jason is around, or maybe when Jason is killing me, or even when things are calm. If the developers could find a way, this could be done by going into the Game Folder on PC and pasting the desired music into a music folder...much like you can do in Skyrim. The music is great, don't get me wrong. But the ability to switch it up would be awesome, no? One of my favourite video games, Haunting Ground, implements simple, yet EFFECTIVE music when you are being chased by one of the stalkers. It's repetitive, panic-inducing, and gets more intense as time goes on. Here is an example. As you notice, the music gets more intense as time goes on. In Haunting Ground, if the stalker gets closer to the player character, the music naturally gets more intense. I realize that this detail may be too complicated to modify into the game... however, having the option to customize chase music would be fantastic. Thoughts?
  7. fav bands

what is ur guy's fav bands/music? email me: ooocoralballs@gmail.com
  8. So here is a thought. Authentic friday the 13th soundtrack for the in car radio's and shack radio's. I don't mean jason's cue music i mean the songs that have made it into his films. So alice coopers-man behind the mask and teenage frankenstein Part 8's - darkest side of the night Part 5 (psuedo echo - no life in his eyes) A jason x trailer used erm (let the body's hit the floor, cant recall the band name) I'm sure there are many more. Freddy vs jason had a surreal soundtrack. One or two songs from there would be awesome.
  9. From the creator of the 2 Girls 1 Cup Song comes an earnest song/video about his loss of innocence while watching Friday the 13th Part 5 on VHS at a friend's house. Definitely worth a watch. This is a serious side project from Jon Lajoie, the comedian responsible for the late 2000's wave of YouTube parody music. Check it out. As a F13 fan, this definitely resonated with me.
  10. one thing that bothered me about f13 is the fact that jason is played the same every game, trap the objective, spawn, chase the counselor till he/she runs out of stamina, rinse, repeat. there not too many ways to evade jason, because once he finds you, he'll constantly keep your fear levels up and thus his senses will keep a lock on you, it goes for every jason in the game during the games development i was always excited about the different, jasons.... i was hoping since that majority of the jasons cant run, theyd have to use stealth and cunning to kill their foes, to my disappointment.... no, youre going to have to chase them down now hypothetically speaking....what if we were to remove both the counselor's and jason's senses? yes im talking about removing jasons ability to pin point your exact location NOT his hearing sense , he should still be able to hear movements, and if the counselors fear levels are high enough, we should be able to hear their breathing within a certain range , jason would still have a general idea of where you are, but not an exact location, instead of lighting up like a christmas tree at a flick of a button as pointed out by one of the posters, it could promote a camping gameplay, so in order to remedy this, make the sense ability a late game ability in line with the rage ability, once jason gets the rage, he unlocks sense as well. now, for the counselors, if we remove jasons sense, we should remove the counselors sense that causes music when jason is nearby, being able to have a free detection for jason gives you a sense of security, the horror music should only play when your camera is pointing at jason, its basically a permanent stalk for jason being a horror game, shouldnt we be promoting uncertainty?, would that make for more interesting gameplay?, has it been done before? or at least considered ?
  11. When playing as either of these Jasons, it plays part 3's music which is severely out of place for these two Jasons. The councelors can hear the intended music so it's not all bad. But I would like to hear Savinis thundering booms and screaming violins as well as NES Jasons up beat 8 bit-esque music while i'm killin fools.
  12. For those who want to hear the full song, here it is... Im glad that Mitch kept some of the original game music in this chase theme.
  13. I've noticed on other platforms that there is different music depending on what Jason is chosen during gameplay. PS4 seems slightly limited with music themes. Music from part 7 never plays unlike what I've witnessed on Steam.
  14. The music score when Jason is nearby an counselor is awesome in each model. (When I play as counselor) But why does the JGTH model have the same music as Part 3? Shouldn't Part 9 have an unique theme?
  15. It'd be great if you'd add the original vocal version of "Sail away, Tiny Sparrow" from Friday the 13th. I'd love to hear it blaring in the car while trying to escape. Seems fitting. It was played both in the diner with Steve Christy in Crystal Lake, and in town when Annie was asking for directions. Sail Away, Tiny Sparrow
  16. So I don't know if this has been a covered topic or not, or if it's even a bug at all, but I need to ask; is Part 9 Jason having Part 3's theme music a bug? Every other Jason has an individual track, so I thought it was weird to hear Part 9 having Part 3's music. Is it an actual bug or is this intended?
  17. Hey all - which of these is your favorite tune from the Friday the 13th franchise and why? Hell, pick more than one - I left it multiple options. I stuck to the Paramount franchise because it was easier, but feel free to fill in a post-Part VIII track if you want. there's a ton of greats, and some... not so greats. Some are awesome only because of the scene they are in... I doubt anyone is still rushing out to get songs from FM or Stan Meissner (although "Darkest Side of the Night" is pretty damn cool). For me it's a toss up between "The Friday the 13th Theme" and "He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask)" - those Alice Cooper songs in Part VI are just iconic... I could have picked any of them, but this one is the best. That video! Jason is only in clips but...Alice's costume! And come on.. the disco theme? Try to lie and say you didn't boogie to that number when you were a kid (or an adult - no shame!). Of course, you know I love "His Eyes"... the scene is my friggin avatar... I'll add that too.
  18. I talked briefly on this before, but I want to know what everyone else thinks as well, because I think it would really help out the character integrity of Jason in general and the overall atmosphere variety for the player counselors. When things are calm, and there's no chase music, I think Map Music could change depending on the map being played, so we don't have to hear the same music over and over provided the map chosen... but what about Jason's music? What if Jason's (alert) music, while the counselors are being chased, changes depending on the Jason that is picked? So, in essence, Jason 2 would have his own chase music (themed to the movie he was in). Jason 6, and so on through the years as the synths and 'sounds' change, you would get that reflection in the game by having a variety of music. This not only helps provide variety to our ears, but also boosts the character integrity of the Jason being played. No longer is it the same chase music slamming your ears over and over, but now it would have a foundation around the Jason that is coming for you. Just to give a few examples of each Jason having their own sound. Jason (Part 2) & (Part 3) | (these two sound similar, but I still think they should both have their OWN sound musically to separate them in-game) (Part 3 should maybe keep the track that was in beta, while part 2 gets a whole new track) Jason (Part 6) | (timestamp 8:25 similar music like that) | Jason (Part 9) | Jason Goes to Hell (below) It's hard to place examples because in movies the sound track is broken up to flow with what's on screen, while in a video game when you are being chased, everything is typically 100% adrenaline at all times with maybe a few seconds of hiding here and there, and so Harry's music will have to flow with the game, which is the big challenge, but definitely can be done. I'd just love to see more musical variety with the TASTE from each film, while counselors are being chased.
  19. So here's the thing,i like Harry Manfredini music,he did a fantastic job,but because of the fact that a music play each time Jason is in the proximity of a player,it makes it impossible for the player controlling Jason to be stealthy or truly surprise counselors. As soon as that music is heard peoples are instantly warned of Jason presence nearby. So the solution would be to ask peoples in a lobby to turn off their music volume before starting a match. Just imagine this kind of situation,a counselor go inside the Higgins house and check around, that player suddenly hear footsteps above, but is not sure if it's another player or Jason (of course it's Jason waiting patiently for a player to show up),so that person goes up and get surprised by Jason and get caught. Now at the same time this happen another counselor is moving toward Higgins House when he/she suddenly see the other counselor being thrown trough the 2nd floor window from inside, the counselor is surprised and now know that Jason is inside that house. Now you see, that's much more interesting and tense for a scenario compared to players constantly being alerted when Jason is nearby. So like i said, turn off the music for the best of experience.
  20. Have the song alice cooper made for "Friday the 13th part 6 Jason lives" in the game. maybe have it on the radio in a cabin and if turned on, Jason will know...... or if you fix the car up the radio starts and the song plays... loudly!
