FreakyFrank1 posted a topic in Friday the 13th: The Game General DiscussionNow that part 4 as been out for awhile and peoples got to play or see the model, now tell me do you still think that he look too similarly to Part 3 ? I on the other hand dont think so,his body build is not the same, the shape of his head and the shape of his mask is not the same, the green shirt is weared differently with the sleeves completely down and the shirt being completely buttoned wich hide the white shirt under it,actually the way he wear his green shirt look more similar to how Part 6 wear it,when you look at both models side by side in the Jason selection menu. So...do you regret what you said or you still hold on to your original tought ?
FreakyFrank1 posted a topic in Friday the 13th: The Game General DiscussionSo while the final release wont have Ted White rendition of Jason, wich probably be added after the game release,i tought it would be nice to make a topic where i could put some videos of artisans works on Part 4 Jason, weither it's a head/face bust,or a life size model or the hockey mask. Like that, the one working on the in-game models will have a bit more details and refferences if he ever start working on a in-game model of Part 4 Jason. sirbrad4 as made multiples life sized horror films characters, especially the different versions of Jason. As for the model in the video the only thing it is lacking is the knife wound on the right leg and the rough blackish nails on the fingers, everything else not bad at all. Here's a good head bust showing a good close up of the head+face, only thing is that the derpy right eye seem a bit too upward. Big Hush is a great artisan and his various hockey mask look quite nice,i consider watching his tutorials videos, now one thing that i've noticed when i watched different videos about someone making a part 4 mask or someone buying a part 4 mask made by an artisan is that the most used version of the mask is the one from the shower scene, with the upper chevron half damaged and the right chevron slightly damaged on it's bottom part, most artisan use that model of the mask,so it would be a good suggestion to go with that version of the hockey mask for the in-game model. So what's your toughts on those, guys ?
So its been bothering me now for a while and even if its not addressed immediately I would prefer its something for the future at least. Jenny looks so off. Chris Higgins in the movie looked fine and Jenny's concept for the game looked perfect, what happened to her actual in game model however? All the characters feel about right except for Jenny, I'd say Chad is probably a little off but nowhere as bad as Jenny. Jenny doesn't look like a final girl on the head at all. She seems a little to tame/boring for it unlike Chris or her concept. Her hair looks awful in the game with such a weird style and her face looks strange other than the expressions and it just doesn't fit her. The makeup also seems unfitting for her trope, especially with the hair to me at least. Is there any chance that in the future Jenny could be remade on the upper body because she is the only character in this game that just looks horrid. When I first saw her and her move counterpart I was so excited but Jenny in the game looks awful and definitely the worst of the cast. For me to the point I just don't want to play her. Which saddens me because I love Tiffany and Deborah and Jenny was going to be a part of my favourites but she just looks so weird. I particularly just cant get over how strange her hair looks. Its not a matter of quality etc, its simply that her look doesn't fit or work together in the slightest. In Jenny's main look she should be much more like this: But she doesn't look half as vibrant or anywhere as good at all. Its a completely different aesthetic. On the other hand assuming they wouldn't change her face how about fixing her alone? Jenny's current hair just doesn't fit and they wish to keep the current look on her face then would this hair just not fit much better? "Girl Next Door" has the hair I indicate of course, as is Jenny's trope. One thing is for sure, either her face and hair need to change or just her hair. Jenny looks very awkward to me and is the only character who seems so wrongly done. I would like them to give her the appearance she has in the concept but if they don't wish to the hair change would suffice. Of course this is personal and is minor and should be addressed later, but I cant help but notice how much Jenny sticks out looking off in almost everyway with the most questionable hairstyle too.
