  1. So its been bothering me now for a while and even if its not addressed immediately I would prefer its something for the future at least. Jenny looks so off. Chris Higgins in the movie looked fine and Jenny's concept for the game looked perfect, what happened to her actual in game model however? All the characters feel about right except for Jenny, I'd say Chad is probably a little off but nowhere as bad as Jenny. Jenny doesn't look like a final girl on the head at all. She seems a little to tame/boring for it unlike Chris or her concept. Her hair looks awful in the game with such a weird style and her face looks strange other than the expressions and it just doesn't fit her. The makeup also seems unfitting for her trope, especially with the hair to me at least. Is there any chance that in the future Jenny could be remade on the upper body because she is the only character in this game that just looks horrid. When I first saw her and her move counterpart I was so excited but Jenny in the game looks awful and definitely the worst of the cast. For me to the point I just don't want to play her. Which saddens me because I love Tiffany and Deborah and Jenny was going to be a part of my favourites but she just looks so weird. I particularly just cant get over how strange her hair looks. Its not a matter of quality etc, its simply that her look doesn't fit or work together in the slightest. In Jenny's main look she should be much more like this: But she doesn't look half as vibrant or anywhere as good at all. Its a completely different aesthetic. On the other hand assuming they wouldn't change her face how about fixing her alone? Jenny's current hair just doesn't fit and they wish to keep the current look on her face then would this hair just not fit much better? "Girl Next Door" has the hair I indicate of course, as is Jenny's trope. One thing is for sure, either her face and hair need to change or just her hair. Jenny looks very awkward to me and is the only character who seems so wrongly done. I would like them to give her the appearance she has in the concept but if they don't wish to the hair change would suffice. Of course this is personal and is minor and should be addressed later, but I cant help but notice how much Jenny sticks out looking off in almost everyway with the most questionable hairstyle too.
  2. So I was told by the support team to bring this here. Unlike, the other post about Jason's grab ability, I think the shift grab is an important part of the game but should be used more as a counter for Jason against faster characters that can cover more ground. Currently it's just another disadvantage for the slower characters in the game. That's because composure is currently a useless stat. When I play as Jason I see Jenny light up like a Christmas tree right off the bat just as easily as anyone else. Also, before the patch on Xbox, I could break free with her almost once a match w/o a pocket knife. Since the patch I haven't been able to do it once. On the flip side, this mitigates having grip strength as a strength or weakness for Jason as well. On top of that, they reduced the number of pocket knives spawning each round, and we already have to burn them to counter traps. If that wasn't enough, we are all button mashing our fingers till they bleed with nothing to show for it. I already hate when games make me do this, but dying every time regardless, even with a 10 compsure and in the very early game, compounds that frustration. This feature should be replaced by a very fast minigame similar to kickoffs and field goals in Madden. Just a bar with a redzone inside of it, the size of which is determined by the counselor's composure/fear level + Jason's grip strength. Perhaps stamina and injury could be included in the formula as well. This minigame should range from very simple to nearly impossible based on this formula. I know I'm not the only one that hates button mashing. If I play a quickmatch with a bunch of low level players, I'll usually see a decent amount of Jennys because they haven't unlocked other characters yet and haven't realized how useless composure is. If I am in a private match with a bunch of regulars it's rare anyone above lvl 20 is using her. That's because they have no incentive to. Compare that with AJ. Almost every private lobby will have 2-3 of her. Why? Because she is equal to or better than Jenny in every category that matters. The only stats she gives up to Jenny are composure and luck. Jenny can't run, she can't fix things, she can't fight, and eben though she should be able to hide, she can't do that either. On top of that, she ties Eric for being the slowest character in the game, making it super easy to shift grab her. Isn't she supposed to represent the girl that survive? She should be a pain in the ass for Jason to kill then. Let that be her specialty. If the shift grab is a counter to faster characters, slower and more composed characters should have a counter to that, which would be easier break aways early in the game. Jason could counter with hack and slash method, the player could counter with the perks that give her two uses of med spray, start with a medspray, and thick skin. This would force Jason to be more strategic about how and when to go in for the kill. Having to really work hard to drive that fear up first. Before anyone predictably mentions that "Jason is supposed to be op" please take notice that I did not advocate changing Jason at all. I know the dev's philosophy regarding that too, and agree with it. This issue is about balancing counselor with counselor so thay players have an incentive to play each character. I hope I've explained that well.
  3. I am just giving feedback on a character that I hope gets some improvement before the launch of the game. Jenny Myers is deemed the Girl Next Door, in Friday The 13th the girl next door is usually Jason's biggest rival. Aside from Tommy Jarvis, Freddy Krueger (He doesn't really count) and maybe Tina from part 7...Chris Higgins was Jason's biggest rival. I bring up Chris Higgins because any Friday fan can see that Jenny Myers is clearly based off of Chris from part 3. I feel the Girl Next Door she be the best all around player to pick in the game if your playing as a counselor. I think the composure and stealth is set just right with Jenny but she seriously lacks in stamina and speed. I been watching the streams and it seems that if Jason spots her she is more then likely going to die just like that. She is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to slow and loses stamina way to quickly. I hope either her stamina, speed or both gets fixed before this. I feel that the girl next door should not be a character that Jason can just take out in seconds, especially if he spawns in the same area at the start of the game. Just keep this in mind, Chris Higgins (Jenny Myers) is one of the few character's that really survived Jason by herself. Only the small distraction from Ali helped her. Other then that most of all the Friday characters had another character around to help them for a longer period then Chris did. I loved the beta but this is one thing I hope you take into serious consideration and fix. The Girl Next Door should be the best all around player in the game in my opinion.
