  1. I was wondering if we can get 3 New weapon kills for part 3 Jason, in my opinion his other 3 are just boring. Thanks for reading
  2. So, throughout this forum, and about the game, I know these things. 1.) Mitch and Jenny's composure stat is pointless, as that's their best stat, which makes them objectively bad. 2.) Vanessa and Chad are the best characters, from what I've heard of at least. 3.) Escape Artist and Adrenaline Rush, as well as Heavy Mover are all shit perk, and the Combat Stance is generally useless to most. I just hope that I can try to make a change by making them better in a sense. But first, if you want to know who I am (which I'm sure you don't) I'm a new user called Vialigo who...doesn't play the game. Shocking I know. But I know the game, good enough to know what I'd have to do if I was given the controller (and die first). Anyways, with that out the way, here are my opinions (which, on the internet, are quite really something to have). So, composure is actually a bad and pointless stat. Sure it's good for not screaming or panicking, but that's about it. It doesn't affect your running (other then making you stumble), it doesn't affect your repairing, it doesn't affect your fighting, it's just pointless. Even if it does make your minimap and your inventory invisible, you should know the correct order buttons to be pressed in order to get a measely pocket knife out and stab Jason in the neck. As a result, I was disappointed about how awful this stat was gameplay wise. Which is why Mitch and Jenny are objectively low-tier characters. So, I've decided why not make the composure stat better. Composure while running: If you were running, and Jason so happens to appear in front of you, then normally you'd do something like run backwards away from him or use fireworks or swing at him wiht your weapon. Well, if you have a composure stat of, say, 5, then your character then staggers backwards or sideways similar to if they were to see Pamela or a dead counselor. If it's even lower then that, then you'd have to stagger backwards, trip and fall, and either crawl backwards for a second before picking yourself up and running. And if it's really a composure stat of 1 or 2, then your character would then stagger, fall, but take about 3-5 seconds of crawling backwords before getting up to run. Composure while repairing: When Jason approches you while you repair something (preferrably from shifting), the screen goes to static and when it comes back, it changes your mini-game and adds more skill checks when he's near you, the amount of skill-checks you get are reduced by how high your composure is. Which means if you were Deborah or Kenny with 5 composure, you'd normally have like 2-3 skill checks, but when Jason's near you, 2 more pop up and it makes your mini-game longer (since it makes it slower. This can be fixed with Tinkerer, however, but there are still the skill checks). It's a way to have it so that you have to be careful about when you can repair something like the car or the boat. This is especially annoying if you were to have someone like Eric trying to fix the phone the moment Jason shows up, and also makes characters like Adam and AJ more useful as repair-ers. This also makes it so that it would be more harder to repair as characters like Brandon or Tiffany. Composure while fighting: Obviously the most realistic one to be possible, but it isn't as of now. Tbh, your composure stat really doesn't mean much while fighting other then getting rid of your mini-,map and your item menu. But, say if you were one to actually use combat stance, well, if your character has low composure, then their fighting stance would turn into a "sissy stance", as the counselor you're using then goes into a stance where they're putting their weapon in front of them to guard them, noticeably shaking, as they yell things like, "Stay away!" or, "Don't touch me!". When you're in this "sissy stance", your swings are like the ones from the combat stance, only with less range and less damage, but your hits are quicker. This could be easily patched up by perks that practically negate these debuffs, but as soon as your fear level is as high as it can go, your combat stance and your sissy stance is unuseable. Composure for other things: As we all know it, when the power goes down, your character starts mumbling to themselves loud enough so that Jason can hear, which is very bad if you were someone like AJ or Mitch. Well, when you have a high composure stat, the only thing that your counselor would be doing is have a delayed time when doing things like getting items or picking up weapons/a trap. Though, if you were to have a low composure stat, then you'd scream, mumble, stumble a lot, and have delayed time when picking things up. And also, when you get grabbed by Jason, you'd just have a mini-game where you spam your buttons to free yourself, but it's barely helpful as Jasons tend to kill high-composure counselors quick. Well, when Jason goes into a grab kill animation, if you were someone like Tiffany, then you'd just get killed, rip, gg, no re. But if you were someone like Chad (high luck, no composure) or AJ (high composure no luck), then you'd have a bit of a chance of unlocking this mini-game where you can dodge Jason's killing-blow with a QTE (quick time event), but it's still a bit hard as you don't have both stats to compensate.. And finally, if you were Jenny, then you'd have an almost guaranteed of unlocking the mini-game, and an easy time of completing it. Oh yeah, and the perks, those three perks are really pointless. Seeing as how you won't get out of Jason's grab without a pocket knife, if the devs were not to change the composure stat, then the least they could do is fix these perks. For example, Escape Artist could work like a free pocket knife without the item that procs more often depending on it's rarity and the counselor's Skill + Luck stat. Adrenaline Rush can add onto this, so that if the Escape Artist doesn't proc, you'd still have a high chance of getting out of his grabs without a pocket knife with the perk on, as it makes the bar go even faster the more you mash and with the perk on, along with the Stamina boost...or just do the simple fix and make them work along with Pocket Knives. Lastly, Heavy Mover is such a laughing-stock, the only thing I could think of to make it useable is to make it so that you move the barricade faster along with making the door sturdier. That's all I have for today. Be sure to comment and give your opinion on my ideas. I'm fully open to discussion. (God that sounds like a YouTuber outro.)
  3. Spreading some Christmas spirit Voorhees style https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z4NCJu3tsY
  4. Jenny Myers is a tank for composure. I currently have equipped the Night Owl perk for 58% darkness resistance. Controlled breathing - 22% (faster composure increase while hiding) And Ice Cold - 49% (reduction of fear of dead bodies) For some reason I think Ice Cold may not be that good. Is there any sources of how much fear rises from seeing a dead body? Lone Wolf or Nerves Of Steel are interesting choices. Nerves of Steel is overall fear resistance right?
  5. I find it common that people underrate composure. They value stealth much much more, when they go hand in hand. Jason sees you more easily with sense if you're scared. If you're at maximum fear, you will blink red anywhere on the map regardless if you're hiding or not. And if you're hiding & scared, your character will give up their position and get killed if Jason walks by. I always play as Jenny Myers, because she's meant to be the final girl. She has max composure, and it takes a while to get her to maximum fear. If people bring Jason to my house, all I have to do is hide under a bed and wait till they kill them. Jason usually doesn't detect me in the house, so he leaves after that, and I go back to doing what I was doing.

  7. i think it would be cool if you could choose the wepon jason uses
  8. When I watched the Spring Break trailer, a thought came close in my mind. At the point when Jason kills Chad with his spear, it looks like he threw it like a javelin. Could this be a tease for a new exclusive kill for Part 6? I mean, Gun and Illfonic have confirmed that every Jason are going to get new exclusive kills to play with, and this could be one of Part 6's new kill animations. But I could be mistaking.
  9. Why Do People Like Jason?

Now.. I'm not hating. I love Jason, but thing is... what is it about him...? Is it his story? The mystery of the man behind the mask? The hot girls? The classic chase scene. What is it about this man that makes him the iconic slasher we all know today?
  10. I have been thinking, and I had an idea to see Pamela in the game. Instead of adding her as a killer in the multiplayer mode, they could add her in Single Player mode. Adding Pamela as a killer in multiplayer mode would be highly difficult, it would need a lot of work and money as the maps would need to be completely changed so that they worked for Pamela, but, the could add Single Player missions for her, perhaps missions based on the first film, I think that wouldn't be so difficult. What do you think? Could Pamela be added as a playable character in Single Player Missions?
  11. Hello there. Yesterday I was playing as Jason and doing a search for counselors, as usual. In two occasions I couldn't pick up knives at all, Jason only stood still and did not do anything. This only happened once, but in the same match. Has it happened to anyone else? I play only on PlayStation 4, by the way.
  12. The music score when Jason is nearby an counselor is awesome in each model. (When I play as counselor) But why does the JGTH model have the same music as Part 3? Shouldn't Part 9 have an unique theme?
  13. Had a discussion with Danny Darkcore on discord... And roughly, this is what I came up in my head on how J7 would work, if they handed him a Weed Eater as one of his main weapons to choose at the start of a match. (Just like a normal weapon you start with now, he can't exchange it, or drop it.. NOW, with that in mind..) "They'd have to mechanically play it to where if Jason uses it as his weapon, he'd have to have it off (basically like a normal weapon). He can CRANK it manually, but hold on just a moment, He'd have his kills, like a normal weapon, cranking it up to kill during the kill animation. He'd turn it on automatically while going through doors... THE CATCH. He could fire it up as a secondary manual attack (like a normal weapon still, BUT IF HE HITS YOU WITH IT)... instant kill animation. It's like super jason mode, but the catch is.. EVERYONE in the vicinity will hear this thing, and Jason's minimap red would be ON at all times this is cranked up... so in order for Jason to get a catch on someone with it, he'd have to leave it off and possibly wound them first, in order to finally crank it up, show off and make that kill while it's cranked."
  14. I think a great new version of Jason would be his famous part as Jason X, as seen in his 2001 movie. How epic would it be running away from Jason X? It may be hard to pull of and add to the game as he used a machete in the film but, i'm sure some new features could be added to this particular model of Jason. Let me know if this could ever be possible for the game!?
  15. Xbox One Private Matches While We Wait. for servers to get better? my gamertag is ZombieGamingFTW

  17. Disclaimer: I have search for a thread about this topic on this forum and what not and couldn't once find one thread about it and I tried to look on youtube videos FOR hours about this being a concept and nope....no real subject but I hope the staff wont be irritated about this question/suggestion if it was asked or posted and lost......... We know a single Jason Voorhees has a machete in the game and the others don't but what if we can switch from a "Primary" to a "Secondary" weapon? Example (For those who dont understand): jason with an axe switches to a Machete. Thoughts? Feedback? its all open!

  19. Paramount Axed Jason ;_;

Apparently they've stopped production of the next Friday the 13th movie: http://comicbook.com/2017/02/07/friday-the-13th-reboot-axed-by-paramount/ Say it isn't so... we need some solace; I hope the game is certified soon, the sooner the release, the better at this point. How could they kill Jason? He's such a special, special boy!
  20. Hello everyone, for people who enjoy Friday the 13th films. I just uploaded a new Friday the 13th Short Film in GTA V. Feel free to check it out, I thought this was probably the best way for community members to get to see this film I've been working on for 3 months. Me and a buddy run our own YouTube channel, where we make a bunch of different GTA Short Films with our friends. So, here is Friday The 13th: The Awakening. Hope you enjoy! *Also keep in mind, this video may not work on Mobile devices in some regions. I am aware of that, Sorry for the inconvenience. This video however will work on the Xbox/Playstation YouTube Apps, Apple TV, and of course PC.*
  21. I think it be cool if you added Jason's reaction to pain by making him grunt if he is hit hard or his foot gets stuck in beartrap. It's a very small suggestion but it be cool since he did grunt like a human in the eariler films. It also be just another small thing to set those Jason's apart from the later Jason who were basically silent even through pain. Another thing is hopefully you give counselors more ways to escape. For instance if you are hiding in a closet and Jason is coming, it be cool if you had a chance to fling the door open to hit him before he slices through at you. I love the whole hiding aspect but if he suspects your there, your automatically dead.
  22. The teleportation didn't bother me that much really during the E3 gameplay presentation, but I understand that it has been an issue to some. Of course Jason must be able to "teleport" in order to mimic Jason's ability from the movies to be at the right spot at the right time (he sure does know a lot of short-cuts around the Crystal Lake surroundings). Only thing that bothered me a little was the smoke animation that made Jason appear like some sort of magician. I am aware that it was an alpha version and that the devs are improving this area, but I am still curios to the rest of you have any good ideas for how the teleportation-ability should work including the possible animation that goes along with it...
  23. Token Minority Alert!

Hello fellow Friday the 13th fans! Care for an intro? Well, I'm an Asian guy (most likely to survive but die next to the black guy in a horror movie) who's obsessed with the Friday the 13th franchise and other slasher flicks! Blood, guts, gore and psycho stalking killers are my thing. lol I currently live outside US (Philippines) and I fully support this game! I hope this forum is possible for me to make friends and interact with people who has the same interests like me. Been dying to have a convo with fellow F13th fans who are also STOKED to death to play "FRIDAY THE 13th: The Game" I just pre-ordered my Machete Steel Case version of the game. So yeah, if you're interested to chat with me just answer this question: "Will you rather play as JASON VOORHEES and KILL? ...or fight and SURVIVE the night as one of the horned up COUNSELORS? Hear from any of you guys soon! Chi Chi Chi - Ma ma ma, - SlasherSplatter
  24. Someone mentioned jump scares in another post, and we've also talked about hiding places for the counselors, but I was wondering. Will Jason have his OWN hiding places? I think it would be cool to have places for Jason to hide to create Jump Scares for the counselors, moments of sudden panic where the music just starts poinding like they do in the movies when it's quiet and then BOOM he's there and either killing someone, or chasing them. It would be cool for Jason to be standing inside a dark cabin and he becomes aware of a counselor nearby.. uh oh, the counselor is heading straight for the cabin (maybe there's something they need in there). Jason has ALL the lights in the cabin off.. counselor comes in, Jason is hidden somewhere and if they get close enough, he has the opportunity for a quick kill, or if they JUST aren't getting close enough to his hiding place he can BURST out, scare them and attempt a chase. Now, let's REWIND for a second... Imagine being the camp counselor approaching the cabin and see all the lights go off suddenly.. now you're standing there, frozen. WHY would someone just turn the lights out like that?? ... If you are smart enough, you may decide to avoid going in the cabin. Now you get to shit your pants as you decide to leave the cabin area, hoping Jason didn't hear you leave and decide to use his "teleport" perk to now stalk you through the woods.. Now let's rewind again and talk about music... (I'm rambling now).. How amazing would it be if the audio guy could get the music to react on the counselor's side, to have that spine tingling tone come up as you actually SEE the light go off, .. and then once Jason makes the decision to 'teleport' himself into the forest, the music tenses up and so the counselor now knows that they are being stalked in the woods.. AMAZING yeah?
