Reporting bugs and exploits when seen. I don't do drama and will do everything i can to avoid the angry mob.
  1. Yes! Thank you all! "Male counselors should all have their own VO now" "Part 9 Jason should have Part 9 music now" Really happy with these two!
  2. I REALLY agree with this. Lip sync would be cool too but I can understand if that comes after the voice acting. I also do like the idea of them mourning for their friends and even sometimes saying the dead character's name. On top of that I do believe the topic of Tommy's intro lines being way to cheesy was brought up a while back from somewhere... Either way I completely agree to that too. Asking if it's a dead body is just too cheesy and should never happen. It should be in this order, (surprise> sorrow/hopelessness> mourning/hopelessness> anger/frustration/fear) depending on the personality of who is saying it and how much they were attached to the dead person. As for Jarvis, his intro line should be anger and revenge plus a little crazy. I do have to give props for the acting when Tommy hits Jason though, those are some of the best lines in the game besides "You better get every last motherfucking cop out here to camp crystal lake!" I love that one.
  3. Someone brought up bringing cops in after people called them. As I think that idea is really bad for many reasons, I do like the idea of a cop as a councilor. Give him a cool cop outfit like the cops in pt 6. They may be athletic but aren't very smart when it comes to a "make-believe" killer who died so long ago. And no he should not have a sidearm or any other advantage either, Just different and balanced stats... I can already see the trolls role-playing as cops too...
  4. I'm tired of seeing all this crazy shift-grabbing and all this tunneling that Jasons have been doing. Is the game truly scary if all your games go down like that? The answer: no it is not. Did you know you can be hidden without turning off the music? Its as simple as hiding around a corner... In this challenge I want you to catch as many people off guard as possible! Make them worry that you could be around every corner! Points if they come to you! Jason and Michel Myers have this stuff down pat and I gotta say that after using it, it's not only fun but a really useful tool to truly scare people! You score based on how many you kill because you ran into them or they ran into you not knowing that you were there, and at most they can only know you were there for 5 seconds before a grab and/or kill! You don't need stealth on to make a point. Tell us your stories/experiences/score when you get back! It's always funny to kill a person with the door in the first 2-3 mins in the match because they opened it for you! I want similar stories like this one! If points aren't the only thing that will make an impression, its the kills that will.
  5. Hey, that's a lot of new content before Halloween and even more before or on Christmas, plus whatever secrets you have for both of those. Thanks for keeping on with the game you guys, I've known a lot of projects to flatline because an angry community. Thanks for pushing on through it, eventually you'll get a more refined fan base when you refine the game more. You just gotta keep pushing bugfixes and content and eventually people will be happy with it, I know I am.
  6. If anyone doesn't know this already there are now kill prompts on the right and I think left side of the alter. Haven't tested the toilet but it better friggen work or ill be sad.
  7. I vote in favor of this. I have a few friends who hate playing Jason. When I'm in a party with them they get picked more than I do even though my preference is Jason. Preferring counselor should mean that you get picked as one 100% of the time unless the whole match has the same preference. It sucks for us who like playing Jason to get a less of a chance due to this also. It sucks for the person who got picked and will have a bad time as Jason. Also if this is the case then what is the point of the "none" preference? wouldn't it be almost the same as prefer counselor? Also a solo Jason or counselor queue would be ACE. Give Jason queued people their own lobbies and make them host. Only queued councilors can join those lobbies. Jasons who quit get a "cooldown" from using the Jason queue. One quit after another will lead to a temp ban from Jason queue that increases time the more they quit. I bet this would save on server costs too! Last game my friend who's preference was counselor got killed as she killed no one. My group of friends even cheered her onto playing and not quitting. She asked Jarvis and Tiffany to just leave at the end. She said she wouldn't kill them because she was demoralized and gave up. They then turned to killing her. She rage quit on her death animation, no one got points or achievements. She rage quit the group chat and went to bed angry, and we all felt so bad for her afterwards... So with that said, I bet her and everyone else would be exited for this kind of patch! TLDR: Fix this issue please! Let the Jasons have Jason time! let the campers have camping time! Everyone wins! Less Ragequits! good patch? great patch!
  8. I was sad when I couldn't swirly Jarvis in my shack. Id seriously love that option It would be kinda like karma or whatever.
  9. I don't mean to kiss any rears right now but this game was composed with a small team. due to this updates won't come out as fast as a AAA title fix would. Now I trust gun media and will vouch for them in this case because they are good people, they are all responsible and professional from all of my experience. There was even a poll on what needs to be in the next update on this site a few days ago, so gun is letting the community be responsible for their game also. Think of how many people in that small team is actually working on content/bugfixes and how many are busy reading/watching hundreds of player submitted reports all day. Also did you have cold hard recorded evidence submitted with your report? Otherwise Its hard to ban with fingerpointing.
  10. I do love leaving with killer masks, I only wish there was a way to keep track of all my masks instead of remembering personally. I have a kind of joke where if I leave with a mask I will say its time to hang another one on the wall. I wish there was a system where you could see what players you stole masks from and what masks from which Jasons you haven't gotten yet. So far I have seven from memory but I may have more. I have a few pt7 masks, a couple pt6 masks, a savini mask, and one pt2. I love this little hobby of mine, I also joke about selling them on ebay when I get home from camp for alot of money. $$$$
  11. Fixing Jason flying out of the map and dying after getting hit by a bat near the car and Items getting stuck in the ground would be a nice fix.
  12. Oooh good post! Messing with Jason is all sorts of fun actually, If you get super pro you can often hear quite a few rage on mic. I can tell you I have ran from blares cove to the nearest police exit with Jason on both my friend and I and halfway had no stamina and full fear. This Jason was really upset and yelling even because he couldn't even touch us on our way to the exit. Here is what you do. Simple survival reason being bat+luck=ALOT of hits before breaking. I was a battlechad with the man at arms perk (I think it was like 20% less chance of breaking your weapon) and a bat, my friend was Jarvis who also has 10/10 luck. We both had bats, this Jason knew nothing of block or combat stance and tried mostly grabbing with hitting near the end. Our tactic was this, stay side by side and if one of us gets grabbed hit Jason and keep moving. The bat stun time meant he had to wait before catching up while we walk off. Buildings and doors for this is not recommended as getting separated usually means death. This works better with more people and big groups like this can get a Jason killed, even if he is blocking. On every hit, even blocked hits he takes damage and the mask eventually will come off. Communication and friends is key. In a pair this tactic is easily defeated with a Jason who blocks so avoid him if you see that. Times to hit Jason are around tight and small corners where you cannot be seen or expected, turn off that light and try to pan your camera around the corner. As soon as he walks by use combat stance and hit him then RUN SOMEWHERE ELSE. Waste Jason's time If at all possible, it lets others do important things. As soon as he beats your door and if he is using the doorbreak animation he will not be able to do anything for a few seconds after the door is open, he is a free hit at that point. If he has rage close a door in his face, don't lock it and have him walk through it, during that animation he cannot do anything and is also a free hit there. Don't try beating him if he is using block and hitting the door! Timing, speed and illusion is everything in this. Also like Dr. lecter said, you can hit him through windows! Thick skin and block will save your life but break your weapon! Always hit with combat stance! Hold block while hitting and not in the middle of hitting or you will cancel your swing! Pick characters that have good top speed and stamina! Don't attack out in the open unless you have pocket knives and a medspray. Use that one perk that increases your swing speed. Sucker punch with a bat is pointless. If you have no stamina, are out in the open while walking slowly away and are seemingly doomed with a weapon in hand wait for Jason to get to the appropriate distance then use combat stance to lock your hit onto him really quick while your camera is on him. remember you step forward in a swing so there is distance. This results in you at one point walking forward away from him then suddenly you 180 on him and are already swinging, if you are lucky you will not get grabbed, at this point find a window or regain stamina. If you plan on hitting him after he does a kill animation stand behind where he will be facing at the end of it and swing a little before his animation is over, pray that your timing is good. If you intend to take a mask home use thrasher plus thick skin and bugsy, find a bladed weapon plus at least one friend if possible and use your tactics. Find an axe with a good thrasher perk, you can take a mask in about two swings sometimes. Don't underestimate the machete either, it is a fast and dangerous weapon. An increase in stun chance makes your job easier since he cannot grab while stunned, so use sucker punch. Also If you do take his mask make it obvious announce it even, you may get a kill in especially if you die first because you may be Jarvis and people are likely to help at that point. If you have his mask, taunt him with it and make him upset with you so you can take up as much time was possible to save lives. If Jason isn't killing, people aren't likely to die. TLDR: Go read it lazy, its good info.
  13. Wall hacks are a part of the game, Jason uses SENSE to see people through walls because of how much fear they emit. I guess you could say he can smell your fear. As for councilors, their location shows up at all times for you and everyone else (except Jason) on your minimap in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. Now with the needless betrayals, I'm sorry for the bad game but if it makes you feel any better whoever betrays loses 1000xp per betrayal. You cannot avoid these people, instead mess up their plans and break their legs for messing with you or your friends, make them easy for Jason to kill as they limp away. They will either ragequit or come back as Tommy Jarvis with a shotgun so be careful with that and good luck. There are already many topics on a kick/ban system. You may want to take up words there instead. Sorry if I misunderstood the post.
  14. I already made a topic on this move, but I feel for you op. I know that feel. same exact thing happened to me. If you were on pc id bet it was the same guy who did it to me! Here are my in-game pictures if you don't want to look at the post. This needs to stop, Jason needs to be able to kick the car out of the way from all sides. This may improve game play for both parties as getting killed by a car that got kicked into you would be crazy, kicking the car into the water may be something, and messing up people's driving by kicking it around would be terrifying. I've seen so many Jason's try to stop a car but end up on the side of it instead, now what would happen if he could kick it?
  15. Lets look at this ultimate Jason's nightmare scenario... The car is repaired like normal, can be yellow or blue. It is parked in front of the closest building with one entrance and multiple windows. the person who parked the car tells everyone to get in this building through the windows and that Jason can't get to them, or he is in a large party with everything already planned. The driver could potently save the ENTIRE match this way if everyone waits in that building. The worst part is that this is very easy to do and only takes seconds to park it if you know your buildings.
